Bottom Line Up Front at Running Back

Running back did not lose a single starter to a Friday designation — every headline at the position this week came from the transaction wire instead. Two backs went to injured reserve, one is having season-ending surgery, and Green Bay’s lead back is still sitting on the Commissioner’s Exempt List with no timetable attached.

Of the 63 running backs on this board, 20 are out or doubtful, 4 carry a Questionable tag that decides itself on gameday, and 39 were listed at some point this week but finished it with no designation at all.

Below is every fantasy-relevant running back across all 32 teams carrying an injury or an absence, with the final designation, what the injury actually is, how long that class of injury normally takes to heal, where each player sits on his team’s depth chart, and who stands to gain if he can’t go.

Who is on this report?

Josh Jacobs (GB), Dylan Sampson (CLE), Malik Davis (DAL), Isaac Guerendo (SF), Adam Randall (BAL), Audric Estime (NO), Kene Nwangwu (NYJ), Chris Collier (LV), James Conner (ARI), Trey Benson (ARI), Trey Sermon (ATL), Trevor Etienne (CAR), Brittain Brown (CHI), Isiah Pacheco (DET), Myles Montgomery (NE), Ty Chandler (NO), Chip Trayanum (NYJ), Zach Charbonnet (SEA), Jeremy McNichols (WAS), Jordan Mason (MIN), RJ Harvey (DEN), Kaelon Black (SF), Ty Johnson (BUF), DJ Giddens (IND), Jeremiyah Love (ARI), Chuba Hubbard (CAR), D’Andre Swift (CHI), Javonte Williams (DAL), J.K. Dobbins (DEN), Jahmyr Gibbs (DET), Bhayshul Tuten (JAX), Ashton Jeanty (LV), De’Von Achane (MIA), Aaron Jones (MIN), Rhamondre Stevenson (NE), Cam Skattebo (NYG), Breece Hall (NYJ), Saquon Barkley (PHI), Christian McCaffrey (SF), Kyle Juszczyk (SF), Jacory Croskey-Merritt (WAS), Jonathon Brooks (CAR), Kyle Monangai (CHI), Samaje Perine (CIN), Emari Demercado (DAL), Woody Marks (HOU), Keaton Mitchell (LAC), TreVeyon Henderson (NE), Alvin Kamara (NO), Tyjae Spears (TEN), Rachaad White (WAS), Tyler Goodson (DAL), British Brooks (HOU), LeQuint Allen Jr. (JAX), Ollie Gordon II (MIA), Kendre Miller (NO), Tyrone Tracy Jr. (NYG), Isaiah Davis (NYJ), Emanuel Wilson (SEA), Sean Tucker (TB), Kaytron Allen (WAS), Najee Harris (NYG), Pierre Strong (GB)

What changed since Week 1

This is the first full week of in-season attrition — injuries from actual games rather than camp and preseason, plus the roster moves that follow them. Across the 63 running backs here: 11 are new to the report, 15 improved or cleared outright, 4 got worse, and 33 are carrying the same status they had a week ago. The pattern worth internalizing: the Week 1 designations that resolved upward mostly stayed resolved, and the new names on this list came off the field on Sunday, not out of the training room.

Waiver wire: who gains if these names sit

  • If Josh Jacobs (GB) can’t go — Chris Brooks (RB1, ACT #30) is the current lead — 38 offensive snaps and 13 carries for 37 yards in Week 1. MarShawn Lloyd (RB2, ACT #32) is close behind at 30 snaps and 13 carries for 37 yards, an almost perfectly even split. Kaleb Johnson (RB3, ACT #26), acquired from Pittsburgh to cover this absence, played zero offensive snaps in Week 1 and was limited to kickoff return duty. Pierre Strong (DEV, #22) is the practice-squad depth.
  • If Dylan Sampson (CLE) can’t go — Quinshon Judkins (RB1) is the overwhelming beneficiary and now projects to a true bell-cow workload including passing downs. Raheim Sanders (RB2) moves up to the primary backup and change-of-pace role. Jaleel McLaughlin, signed off the practice squad to the active roster on Sept 15, 2026 as the corresponding move, slots in as RB3 and the most likely pass-catching complement given his profile.
  • If Malik Davis (DAL) can’t go — Emari Demercado (RB2) inherited the direct handcuff job behind Javonte Williams, and Tyler Goodson — signed off the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad to the 53-man roster the week of Sept 14-15 specifically to replace Davis — is the RB3. Hunter Luepke remains the fullback and short-yardage body.
  • If Isaac Guerendo (SF) can’t go — Christian McCaffrey (RB1), Kaelon Black (RB2) and Jordan James (RB3) are handling the backfield, with Sincere McCormick on the practice squad.
  • If Adam Randall (BAL) can’t go — Rasheen Ali (RB3) holds the depth role Randall was competing for, behind Derrick Henry (RB1) and Justice Hill (RB2, passing downs). Practice-squad back Jonathan Ward (DEV) is the emergency body if Baltimore needs another.
  • If Audric Estime (NO) can’t go — Kendre Miller (RB3) absorbed the RB3 role in his absence and scored in Week 1. CJ Donaldson was signed from the practice squad to the active roster on Sept 18, 2026 and is now the RB4. Zamir White remains on the practice squad as further depth.
  • If Kene Nwangwu (NYJ) can’t go — Breece Hall (ACT, RB1) is unaffected and remains the workhorse. Braelon Allen (ACT, RB2) and Isaiah Davis (ACT, RB3) sit ahead of him and absorb any offensive snaps. Al-Jay Henderson (DEV) is the practice-squad elevation option. The real vacancy is on special teams, where the Jets lose their designated kick returner — Isaiah Davis and Arian Smith are the likely return candidates.
  • If James Conner (ARI) can’t go — Tyler Allgeier and Jeremiyah Love are splitting the work in his absence, with Bam Knight as RB3 and Evan Hull on the practice squad. Allgeier is nominally the listed starter; Love is the more valuable fantasy asset.
  • If Trey Benson (ARI) can’t go — Tyler Allgeier and Jeremiyah Love handle the backfield, with Bam Knight as RB3. James Conner (RSR) rejoins the mix from Week 5.
  • If Trey Sermon (ATL) can’t go — Brian Robinson (RB2) is the primary handcuff to Bijan Robinson. Khalil Herbert (practice squad / DEV, signed Sept 16, 2026) and Cash Jones (practice squad / DEV) are the depth behind him.
  • If Brittain Brown (CHI) can’t go — D’Andre Swift (RB1, ACT #4), Kyle Monangai (RB2, ACT #25) and Roschon Johnson (RB3, ACT #23) are the unaffected active backs — all three are available for Week 2. Salvon Ahmed (DEV, #36) and Zavier Scott (DEV) are the practice-squad depth.
  • If Isiah Pacheco (DET) can’t go — Jahmyr Gibbs (RB1, ACT) is the workhorse and his role is unaffected — he caught a touchdown in the Thursday loss at Buffalo. Sione Vaki (RB2, ACT #33) is the complementary back and the primary beneficiary of Pacheco’s absence. Jacob Saylors (RB3, ACT #25) is the depth. Jabari Small (DEV) is the practice-squad option.
  • If Myles Montgomery (NE) can’t go — His roster spot is already absorbed. Rhamondre Stevenson (ACT, RB1), TreVeyon Henderson (ACT, RB2) and Corey Kiner (ACT, RB3) form the active backfield, with Reggie Gilliam (ACT) at fullback and Lan Larison (DEV) on the practice squad. Nobody gains anything new from his continued absence.
  • If Ty Chandler (NO) can’t go — Travis Etienne (RB1), Alvin Kamara (RB2), Kendre Miller (RB3) and CJ Donaldson (RB4, promoted to the active roster Sept 18, 2026) constitute the full active backfield.
  • If Chip Trayanum (NYJ) can’t go — Already absorbed. Breece Hall (ACT, RB1), Braelon Allen (ACT, RB2), Isaiah Davis (ACT, RB3) and Kene Nwangwu (ACT, RB4) make up the active backfield, with Andrew Beck (ACT) at fullback and Al-Jay Henderson (DEV) on the practice squad. Nobody gains anything new from his continued absence.
  • If Zach Charbonnet (SEA) can’t go — Jadarian Price (RB1) leads on early downs, George Holani (RB2) handles third-down and goal-line work, and Emanuel Wilson (RB3) takes limited red-zone snaps. Brady Russell is the fullback.
  • If Jeremy McNichols (WAS) can’t go — His roster spot and change-of-pace snaps are already covered by Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB1), Rachaad White (RB2) and Kaytron Allen (RB3), with Craig Reynolds and Robert Henry Jr. on the practice squad.
  • If Jordan Mason (MIN) can’t go — Aaron Jones (RB1, ACT #33) is the clear primary and will lead the backfield Sunday — he absorbs the bulk of Mason’s vacated early-down and goal-line work. DeeJay Dallas (ACT, promoted from the practice squad Sept 16) is the new RB2 per Ourlads and is a core special-teamer. Demond Claiborne (RB3, ACT #21) is expected to be active for Week 2 and is in line for a larger role than he had in Week 1. Jerome Ford was added to the practice squad Sept 16 as insurance and is a candidate for elevation if Jones is dinged.
  • If RJ Harvey (DEN) can’t go — Jonah Coleman (RB3) is the direct next man up and would step into the RB2 role, per Denver beat reporting on the Friday report. Tyler Badie (RB4) would slide to RB3 and take the kickoff-return work. The far more important beneficiary is J.K. Dobbins (RB1), who would see a near-bellcow workload including the passing-down snaps Harvey normally takes — Dobbins is the actual fantasy play on the Harvey-out branch, not Coleman.
  • If Kaelon Black (SF) can’t go — Jordan James (RB3) is the direct beneficiary and would slot in as the clear No. 2 behind McCaffrey. Christian McCaffrey’s own workload would climb. Sincere McCormick is on the practice squad as the emergency body. Kyle Juszczyk would see a modest bump in short-yardage involvement.
  • If Ty Johnson (BUF) can’t go — Ray Davis (ACT) is the direct beneficiary and has been the de facto RB2 behind James Cook for both games. James Cook (ACT) is the far larger beneficiary in raw volume — Johnson’s absence removes the only back who threatens Cook’s passing-down work. Frank Gore Jr. (DEV, practice squad) is the emergency third body and would require a gameday elevation.
  • If DJ Giddens (IND) can’t go — Seth McGowan is RB2 and the direct handcuff to Jonathan Taylor; practice-squad backs Davon Booth and Anderson Castle are the emergency elevations behind Giddens.

How to read this report

These are final designations, not midweek practice notes, so they mean what they say. A few timing wrinkles apply this week:

  • Buffalo and Detroit have already played. The Bills beat the Lions 41-31 on Thursday night, September 17. For those two clubs Week 2 is settled — what matters is who got hurt in the game and what it means from Week 3 on.
  • The Rams host the Giants on Monday night, September 21, so Los Angeles does not file its final game-status report until Saturday. Any Rams player listed here is Friday practice participation with the final designation still to come.
  • A player listed with no designation is good news. Several names below appear on an official report with a blank game-status column — that is a club formally declining to tag them, which is stronger than never having been listed at all.

Reserve-list designations — injured reserve, PUP, the Commissioner’s Exempt List, suspension — are roster transactions and are settled regardless of the day. A player placed on in-season injured reserve must miss a minimum of four games.

Ruled out or unavailable (20)

Officially ruled out, or on a reserve list. Plan around these.

Josh Jacobs — GB (Would be the unquestioned RB1 and workhorse; currently on the Commissioner’s Exempt List and off the Week 2 depth chart entirely)

  • Status: EXEMPT — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code EXE on https://www.nfl.com/teams/green-bay-packers/roster as of Sept 18, 2026. He is on the Commissioner’s Exempt List and remains there for Week 2. This is a league-imposed roster-list status, not an injury; he cannot practice or play, does not count against the 53, and no game-status designation exists or can exist for him.
  • Practice this week: Not reported — players on the Commissioner’s Exempt List are barred from practicing or attending team activities and do not appear on the official participation report. Full week: no Wed, Thu or Fri participation of any kind.
  • Injury: None — this is a legal and disciplinary matter, not a physical injury. Jacobs faced misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property stemming from a May 23, 2026 incident.
  • When it happened: Placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List in late August 2026 following the offseason arrest. Entered a no-contest plea to two misdemeanor charges in court on Sept 10, 2026, drawing a $1,000 fine, five conditions including restitution, and no jail time.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not an injury, so no medical recovery curve applies. The governing timeline is the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy review. Comparable exempt-list stints have run anywhere from two weeks to the better part of a season. The league has stated there is no timeline for a discipline decision and is still seeking to interview Jacobs and review video evidence from the incident.
  • Expected back to full health: Physically he is healthy now; availability is entirely a league-discipline question with no date attached. GM Brian Gutekunst has said he is hopeful Jacobs returns before the end of the season but that the process will be allowed to play out. A realistic earliest return is mid-to-late October 2026 (Weeks 7-9), and a full-season absence remains live. Any games spent on the exempt list count toward a future suspension, with back pay if he is later suspended.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY in Week 2 vs the New York Jets on Sunday Sept 20, 2026. He remains on the Commissioner’s Exempt List and is ineligible.
  • Next four weeks: Assume out for Weeks 2, 3, 4 and 5. The complicating development, reported Sept 16: attorneys for Jacobs’s former girlfriend filed a motion to permanently seal the evidence and discovery in the criminal case, including the video the NFL wants. If that motion succeeds, the league’s investigation could stall indefinitely — which cuts both ways, since a stalled investigation could either delay a suspension ruling or prolong the exempt-list stay. There is no credible path to him suiting up inside this four-week window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Chris Brooks (RB1, ACT #30) is the current lead — 38 offensive snaps and 13 carries for 37 yards in Week 1.
  • Change since Week 1: Status itself is unchanged — still EXE, still unavailable, as on the Sept 12 baseline. Two things did develop: the Sept 10 no-contest plea resolved the criminal case (fine, conditions, no jail), and on Sept 16 a motion was filed to permanently seal the case evidence, which may block the NFL’s access to the video it needs to rule. The league has confirmed there is still no timeline. Separately, the Green Bay RB depth ORDER is corrected against the baseline: Chris Brooks is RB1, not MarShawn Lloyd.

Fantasy takeaway: Jacobs is a hold-only-if-you-have-the-bench-space stash in 12-team full PPR; in shallower formats he is droppable, because the most likely outcomes are a long absence followed by a suspension. The Green Bay backfield is explicitly not startable: Brooks and Lloyd split 38/30 snaps and 13/13 carries for identical 37-yard lines in Week 1, which is the definition of an unusable committee. Do not start either in a 12-teamer. If you must speculate, Lloyd has the higher upside if the committee ever breaks; Kaleb Johnson is the name to watch only if Green Bay gets frustrated enough to change course, but zero offensive snaps in Week 1 says that is not imminent.

Dylan Sampson — CLE (Was RB2 and the change-of-pace/kick-return back behind Quinshon Judkins; currently off the active depth chart entirely)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status, status code RES on the nfl.com Browns roster as of Sept 18, 2026. Cleveland placed him on injured reserve on Sept 15, 2026. This reserve-list status outranks the fact that the injury happened in a game — he is unavailable by roster rule, not by designation.
  • Practice this week: Not reported — ineligible to practice while on Reserve/Injured. He has no Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 or Fri Sept 18 entry on the participation report.
  • Injury: Sprained knee
  • When it happened: Sept 13, 2026 — Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was hurt on his second play of the game, a 37-yard kick return, left the field in the first quarter and was ruled out before halftime. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported the injury was expected to sideline him for a significant amount of time, and Cleveland placed him on IR two days later on Sept 15.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Knee sprains grade by ligament. MCL sprain: Grade 1 roughly 1-3 weeks, Grade 2 roughly 3-6 weeks, Grade 3 roughly 6-10 weeks. A high-grade MCL or a PCL sprain runs 6-10 weeks. An isolated ACL or multi-ligament injury is season-ending at 9-12 months. The combination of an immediate IR placement and ‘significant amount of time’ reporting points to at least a Grade 2, putting the realistic floor well beyond the four-game minimum.
  • Expected back to full health: Late October to November 2026 at the earliest. The IR rule makes Week 6 his first eligible game, but the severity language around the injury suggests a genuine return closer to Weeks 8-10, roughly late October through mid-November 2026. Treat Week 6 as the optimistic edge, not the expectation.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is on Reserve/Injured and ineligible. He is also ineligible for Weeks 3, 4 and 5 under the four-game minimum.
  • Next four weeks: Out for the entire Weeks 2-5 window by rule, with the first possible return in Week 6. Given the reported severity, assume he does not play in this window and quite possibly does not play until Week 8 or later. Cleveland has already restructured the backfield around his absence.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Quinshon Judkins (RB1) is the overwhelming beneficiary and now projects to a true bell-cow workload including passing downs.
  • Change since Week 1: MAJOR CHANGE, and he is new to this report. The Sept 12 baseline listed him as RB2 with an ACT status code and no injury. He was hurt on his second snap of Week 1, was placed on IR Sept 15, and Cleveland signed Jaleel McLaughlin to the active roster the same day — a player who was not on the baseline active roster at all.

Fantasy takeaway: Drop him in 12-team full PPR redraft unless you have an IR slot — a minimum four-game absence with real severity signals behind it is not worth a bench spot. The actionable move is the other side of this: Quinshon Judkins just became a locked-in RB1 with no committee competition, and Jaleel McLaughlin is a worthwhile speculative waiver add in deeper leagues as the new passing-down option.

Malik Davis — DAL (Formerly RB2; now off the active roster entirely and on season-ending injured reserve. His RB2 job went to Emari Demercado.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) a reserve-list roster status, not a weekly game-status tag. nfl.com lists him RES on the Cowboys’ official roster as of Fri Sept 18, 2026. This is season-ending IR with no return designation, so it outranks any practice or game-status discussion.
  • Practice this week: No practice participation is filed for a player on Reserve/Injured. He has not practiced since he was carted off on Fri Sept 11, 2026, and he underwent surgery the following day.
  • Injury: Hip injury requiring surgery — season-ending.
  • When it happened: Friday, Sept 11, 2026, during practice at the Cowboys’ Frisco facility (The Star). He was carted off the field. He had hip surgery on Saturday, Sept 12, 2026, and was placed on season-ending IR before the Cowboys played Week 1.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Surgical hip repairs in NFL running backs (labral repair / femoroacetabular impingement / hip capsule work) are 4-6 month rehabs at the low end and commonly 6-9 months before full football speed returns. A season-ending IR designation with no return window filed means the club has internally assigned this to the longer end of that band. Recovery is measured in months, not weeks.
  • Expected back to full health: Not in 2026. Realistic full clearance falls in the March-June 2027 window, i.e. in time for 2027 offseason work rather than any point this season. There is no Week number in 2026 at which he becomes available.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 2 and every remaining 2026 game, including Sunday Sept 20 vs the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET). Season-ending IR without a return designation cannot be reversed this year.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 2 (vs WAS, Sept 20), 3, 4 and 5 and the rest of the season. There is no scenario in which he returns during this stretch.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Emari Demercado (RB2) inherited the direct handcuff job behind Javonte Williams, and Tyler Goodson — signed off the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad to the 53-man roster the week of Sept 14-15 specifically to replace Davis — is the RB3. Hunter Luepke remains the fullback and short-yardage body.
  • Change since Week 1: MAJOR CHANGE. On Sept 12 the baseline had him ACT and merely ‘RULED OUT Wk1, hip.’ He is now on season-ending Reserve/Injured after hip surgery on Sept 12. Dallas also signed Tyler Goodson to the active roster and waived Israel Abanikanda to make room, so the baseline’s note that Abanikanda was the ‘top elevation candidate’ is obsolete.

Fantasy takeaway: Drop him in all 12-team full-PPR redraft formats; he has no 2026 value and should not occupy a bench or IR slot unless your league’s IR spot is free and deep. The actionable spillover is that Emari Demercado is a legitimate priority-waiver handcuff to Javonte Williams in a Dallas offense that scored plenty in Week 1, and Tyler Goodson is a watch-list-only third body.

Isaac Guerendo — SF (Not on the active depth chart — would compete for the RB2/RB3 role behind Christian McCaffrey when activated)

  • Status: PUP — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried as PUP (active/Physically Unable to Perform) on the official nfl.com 49ers roster as of Sept 18, 2026. By rule he must miss the first four games and is first eligible in Week 5.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — a player on active/PUP is barred from practicing with the team until his 21-day activation window opens. He has not practiced. Week of Sept 16-18: no participation of any kind.
  • Injury: Lower-body injury carried from training camp, undisclosed by the club.
  • When it happened: Training camp, August 2026. Placed on active/PUP at the 53-man roster cutdown in late August.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not quantifiable without a named injury; the four-game active/PUP minimum is the binding constraint regardless of medical readiness.
  • Expected back to full health: First eligible Week 5, approximately Oct 11-18, 2026. Watch for the 21-day practice window opening in Week 4.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY and is INELIGIBLE. He cannot be activated for Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Miami Dolphins or for any game before Week 5.
  • Next four weeks: Ineligible for Weeks 2, 3 and 4 by rule. Week 5 is his first eligible game, but the landscape has shifted against him — rookie Kaelon Black out-carried Christian McCaffrey in Week 1 and has locked down the RB2 job in his absence. Guerendo returns to a committee that has moved on.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Christian McCaffrey (RB1), Kaelon Black (RB2) and Jordan James (RB3) are handling the backfield, with Sincere McCormick on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 1: STATUS UNCHANGED, OUTLOOK WORSENED. Still on active/PUP per the official roster with the same Week 5 eligibility. What changed is that Kaelon Black seized the RB2 role in Week 1 (14 carries, 65 yards) and is now entrenched, shrinking Guerendo’s path back to snaps.

Fantasy takeaway: Not worth a stash in 12-team full-PPR. He cannot help you until Week 5 and the job he would have returned to has been taken by Kaelon Black. If you want San Francisco backfield exposure behind McCaffrey, own Black or Jordan James instead — both are on the field now.

Adam Randall — BAL (Was competing for the RB3/RB4 role; currently off the active depth chart while on reserve)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status, designated to return. Status code RES on the nfl.com Ravens roster as of Sept 18, 2026. The reserve-list status outranks everything else and makes him unavailable regardless of how his rehab is going.
  • Practice this week: Not reported — ineligible to practice until his 21-day activation window is opened. No Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 or Fri Sept 18 entry exists for him on the participation report.
  • Injury: Undisclosed — Baltimore did not specify the nature of the injury when it placed him on IR
  • When it happened: Late August 2026. He was placed on injured reserve with a return designation on approximately Aug 30, 2026, as part of the initial 53-man roster cutdown, which means the injury occurred during training camp or the preseason.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not assessable with precision because the club never disclosed the injury. The structural constraint is the rule, not the biology: a player placed on IR before the season with a return designation must miss the first four regular-season games. Camp injuries severe enough to warrant that designation typically run 4-8 weeks.
  • Expected back to full health: Early-to-mid October 2026. He becomes eligible to return in Week 5, and the practice window can open before that. A realistic fully-healthy, game-ready date is Week 5-6, roughly the first half of October 2026.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the New Orleans Saints. He is on Reserve/Injured serving the mandatory four-game absence and cannot be activated.
  • Next four weeks: Out Weeks 2, 3 and 4 by rule. Week 5 is his first game of eligibility, and even then activation is not guaranteed — Baltimore has Derrick Henry, Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali healthy and has no pressing need to use a roster spot on him. Assume no fantasy relevance across Weeks 2-5.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Rasheen Ali (RB3) holds the depth role Randall was competing for, behind Derrick Henry (RB1) and Justice Hill (RB2, passing downs). Practice-squad back Jonathan Ward (DEV) is the emergency body if Baltimore needs another.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He remains on Reserve/Injured with a return designation, status code RES, no practice window opened, and no new information released by the club.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any 12-team full PPR redraft league. He is a fourth-string back on a team with an entrenched bell cow in Derrick Henry and a defined passing-down back in Justice Hill. Ignore him entirely; the only Baltimore backfield handcuff worth a bench spot is Justice Hill.

Audric Estime — NO (Was RB4 — currently occupies no active depth-chart slot because he is on a reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status, not a weekly game-status designation. nfl.com’s live roster now lists him RES (No. 30) after New Orleans placed him on Injured Reserve on Sept 12-13, 2026, ahead of the Week 1 opener at Detroit. This reserve status outranks his prior weekly OUT tag and outranks anything about where the injury happened.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable / not reported (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not reported Wed Sept 16 -> not reported Thu Sept 17 -> not reported Fri Sept 18. Players on Reserve/Injured do not appear on the weekly practice participation report.
  • Injury: Thigh (quadriceps) injury
  • When it happened: Early September 2026 during Week 1 preparation. He was a DNP on the Sept 11 practice report and carried a FINAL Friday OUT tag into Week 1 before being moved to Injured Reserve on Sept 12-13, 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Quadriceps strains: Grade 1 typically 1-3 weeks, Grade 2 typically 4-6 weeks, Grade 3 or a quad contusion with myositis 6-plus weeks. Reporting at the time of placement indicated he would miss multiple weeks, which is consistent with a Grade 2. The IR placement itself imposes a hard floor of four missed regular-season games regardless of how quickly the quad heals.
  • Expected back to full health: Physically likely healthy in the mid-to-late October 2026 range. By rule he cannot return before Week 5 (the week of Oct 11, 2026), and a realistic activation is Weeks 6-8 once New Orleans opens a practice window.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY. Ineligible for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Baltimore Ravens — he is on Injured Reserve and not on the active 53.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2, 3 and 4: ineligible, full stop. Week 5: the earliest he can be activated. Even on return he would be the fourth or fifth back in a room that now has Travis Etienne, Alvin Kamara, Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Kendre Miller (RB3) absorbed the RB3 role in his absence and scored in Week 1. CJ Donaldson was signed from the practice squad to the active roster on Sept 18, 2026 and is now the RB4. Zamir White remains on the practice squad as further depth.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED — status escalated. On the Sept 12 baseline he was a DNP carrying a weekly OUT designation for Week 1. He has since been placed on Injured Reserve, which converts a one-week absence into a minimum four-game absence. This is a roster-list change, not just an injury update.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full-PPR. Drop him. The actionable spillover is Kendre Miller, who found the end zone in Week 1 and is the change-of-pace back behind Travis Etienne while Kamara is on a snap restriction — Miller is a defensible deep-bench stash in 12-team leagues this week.

Kene Nwangwu — NYJ (RB4 — fourth on the depth chart behind Breece Hall, Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis; primarily a kick returner and special-teams contributor)

  • Status: OUT — (a) a FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by the New York Jets on the Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 20 game vs the Green Bay Packers. He is one of four Jets ruled out, alongside Omar Cooper Jr. (ankle), Minkah Fitzpatrick (groin) and Joseph Ossai (foot).
  • Practice this week: DNP (Friday Sept 18). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 16 -> DNP Thu Sept 17 -> DNP Fri Sept 18. He did not practice on any day of the Week 2 week, a full zero-participation week that directly produced the OUT tag.
  • Injury: Back (as listed on the official league injury report). The Jets have not specified a diagnosis — spasms, a strain and a disc issue would all be reported identically as ‘back.’
  • When it happened: During the Week 1 practice week, early September 2026. He first appeared on the Jets’ Sept 9-11, 2026 reports, was a DNP on Friday Sept 11, and was listed DOUBTFUL for the Sept 13 game vs Tennessee, which he missed. He has now failed to practice for two consecutive weeks.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Back injuries are the least predictable class on an injury report because the label covers everything from transient muscular spasms to disc pathology. Simple spasms or a muscular strain typically cost 1-2 weeks. A facet or disc-related issue commonly runs 3-6 weeks and is prone to recurrence. Two full weeks of zero practice participation, with the designation worsening from Doubtful to Out, is a concerning pattern that argues against simple spasms and pushes the estimate toward the multi-week end. Backs with recurring back issues frequently end up on IR if the trend continues.
  • Expected back to full health: Uncertain, with early October 2026 as a reasonable midpoint — roughly Week 4 to Week 5 (Oct 4-11, 2026). The honest read is that two straight no-practice weeks with a worsening designation gives no positive signal, and an IR placement would not be surprising if he cannot practice next week either.
  • Next game: OUT. He will not play in the Jets’ Week 2 game, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at home vs the Green Bay Packers, 1:00 PM ET on FOX. This is a final, official Friday designation. He has now missed both Jets games this season.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 20 vs Green Bay) — officially OUT. Week 3 (Sept 27 at Detroit) — unlikely without a practice breakthrough next week; watch the Wednesday Sept 23 report closely. Week 4 (Oct 4 at Chicago) — possible return if the back settles. Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Cleveland) — plausible. Reserve/Injured is a live possibility if he posts a third straight zero-participation week. Even fully healthy he is the RB4 and a return specialist with no meaningful offensive role.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Breece Hall (ACT, RB1) is unaffected and remains the workhorse.
  • Change since Week 1: STATUS WORSENED. On the Sept 12 baseline he was DOUBTFUL — a final Friday designation for the Sept 13 game vs Tennessee — with a DNP on Friday Sept 11. He has now been downgraded to OUT after a second consecutive week of zero practice participation (DNP Wed/Thu/Fri). Two full weeks without practicing and a designation moving from Doubtful to Out is a clear negative trend, and IR is now a realistic next step.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league, in any format. He is the RB4 on his own depth chart, has missed both games, and his value was always return-based rather than offensive. Drop him without a second thought. The relevant fantasy read is that Breece Hall’s workhorse role faces zero threat from the back end of this depth chart.

Chris Collier — LV (RB6 — reserve-list running back, not on the active depth chart and not competing for snaps while shelved)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an OFFICIAL RESERVE-LIST ROSTER STATUS carried on the Raiders’ nfl.com roster as RES, not a weekly game-status tag. He is ineligible to play until activated.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — reserve-list players do not appear on the weekly practice report. Full week: not eligible to practice with the team in any countable capacity Wed Sept 16 / Thu Sept 17 / Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: Undisclosed by the club. The Reserve/Injured placement is the official record; CBS Sports carries him as undisclosed on the Raiders IR listing.
  • When it happened: Placed on Reserve/Injured ahead of the 2026 regular season, in the late August / early September 2026 roster-trimming window. He has not been active for Week 1 or Week 2.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not determinable from the medicine because the injury is undisclosed. The governing constraint is the roster rule: a post-cutdown Reserve/Injured placement requires a minimum four-game absence before activation eligibility.
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown and undisclosed. Week 5 2026 (early October) is the earliest procedurally possible activation if the four-game minimum applies; Las Vegas has announced no target.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY, Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 at the Los Angeles Chargers. Ineligible by roster rule.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2, 3 and 4: ineligible, guaranteed inactive. Week 5 onward: procedurally eligible at the earliest. He would return as RB4 or lower behind Ashton Jeanty, Mike Washington Jr. and Dylan Laube, with no fantasy path.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — his absence is already fully absorbed. Ashton Jeanty (RB1), Mike Washington Jr. (RB2) and Dylan Laube (RB3) are the active room, with Dare Ogunbowale and Roman Hemby on the practice squad as elevation candidates.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW TO THE REPORT as an explicit entry — the Sept 12 baseline did not list him. Verified today at RES on the nfl.com Las Vegas roster pull (Friday Sept 18, 2026) and cross-checked against the CBS Sports Raiders injury page. His status likely predates Sept 12; this is a baseline gap being closed rather than a new move.

Fantasy takeaway: Completely irrelevant in 12-team full-PPR redraft. Do not roster, do not stash, do not spend FAAB. Logged to satisfy the reserve-list reporting requirement. The practical note for managers is that the Raiders’ only meaningful backfield handcuff is Mike Washington Jr. — Collier being shelved removes one of the bodies that might otherwise have muddied that picture.

James Conner — ARI (Not on the active depth chart — he was the projected lead back before the injury and will re-enter the Allgeier/Love committee when activated)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried as RSR (Reserve/Injured, DESIGNATED TO RETURN) on the official nfl.com Cardinals roster as of Sept 18, 2026. He was placed on IR at the 53-man cutdown, which means he must miss the first four games by rule and is first eligible to play in Week 5.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — he is on the reserve list and ineligible to practice with the team until his 21-day practice window is opened. He has not practiced. Week of Sept 16-18: no participation of any kind.
  • Injury: Lower-body injury carried in from training camp. Arizona has not publicly detailed the specific injury or the body part.
  • When it happened: Training camp, August 2026. He was placed on injured reserve at the 53-man roster cutdown in late August 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Unquantifiable without a named injury. The operative constraint is procedural rather than medical: a player placed on IR at cutdown with a return designation must sit four games regardless of how quickly he heals. A soft-tissue injury of the kind implied would ordinarily be a 4-8 week item, which lines up neatly with the rule-mandated four-game minimum.
  • Expected back to full health: First eligible to return in Week 5, approximately Oct 11-18, 2026. Arizona would need to open his 21-day practice window before then — watch for that opening during Week 4, which is the single best leading indicator that his return is real.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY and is INELIGIBLE to play. He cannot be activated for Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Seattle Seahawks, or for any game before Week 5.
  • Next four weeks: Ineligible for Weeks 2, 3 and 4 by rule. Week 5 is his first eligible game and is a genuine possibility if the 21-day window opens in Week 4. When he returns he walks into a backfield where Jeremiyah Love (the No. 3 overall pick, now fully healthy) and Tyler Allgeier have been splitting work, and Mike LaFleur has signalled a hot-hand approach — so do not assume Conner reclaims a lead role on arrival.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tyler Allgeier and Jeremiyah Love are splitting the work in his absence, with Bam Knight as RB3 and Evan Hull on the practice squad. Allgeier is nominally the listed starter; Love is the more valuable fantasy asset.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He remains RSR on the official roster, has not practiced, and his four-game IR clock is unchanged — first eligible Week 5.

Fantasy takeaway: A stash, not a start, in 12-team full-PPR — and only if your bench is deep enough to carry a player who cannot help you until Week 5. His return value is genuinely uncertain because Love has seized real opportunity in his absence and the staff has said it will ride the hot hand. If you are tight on roster spots, the better move is to drop Conner and own Love outright.

Trey Benson — ARI (Not on the active depth chart — season-ending reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried as RES (Reserve/Injured) on the official nfl.com Cardinals roster as of Sept 18, 2026, with NO designation to return. He was waived-injured in late August 2026 and reverted to injured reserve, which makes this season-ending.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — he is on a season-ending reserve list and ineligible to practice with the team. He has not practiced and will not. Week of Sept 16-18: no participation of any kind.
  • Injury: Knee.
  • When it happened: August 2026, during training camp/preseason. He was waived-injured in late August and reverted to IR when he cleared waivers.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Depends on the structure involved: an isolated MCL is 4-8 weeks, a meniscus repair is 4-6 months, and an ACL reconstruction is 9-12 months. The fact that Arizona waived-injured him rather than carrying him on the 53 points to a long-timeline injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Not in 2026. Target the 2027 offseason, roughly spring 2027, ahead of 2027 training camp.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY and is ineligible to play. He cannot appear in the Sept 20, 2026 game vs. Seattle or in any 2026 game.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 2, 3, 4, 5 and the entire 2026 season. There is no return path — he is on IR with no designation to return.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tyler Allgeier and Jeremiyah Love handle the backfield, with Bam Knight as RB3. James Conner (RSR) rejoins the mix from Week 5.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He remains RES with no return designation on the official roster and his season is over.

Fantasy takeaway: Drop in all redraft formats, including the deepest ones — his 2026 season is over with no possibility of return. In dynasty, he is a low-cost hold only if you have an IR slot; his path back to relevance in Arizona is now blocked by Jeremiyah Love regardless of health.

Trey Sermon — ATL (Depth RB — currently occupies no active depth-chart slot because he is on a reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status, not a weekly game-status designation. nfl.com’s live roster lists him RES (Reserve/Injured, with NO return designation), which means he is out for the entire 2026 season unless he is later reached an injury settlement or waived-injured. This reserve status outranks anything about where or how the injury happened.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable / not reported (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not reported Wed Sept 16 -> not reported Thu Sept 17 -> not reported Fri Sept 18. Players on Reserve/Injured without a return designation do not practice and do not appear on the weekly report.
  • Injury: Undisclosed injury sustained in the 2026 preseason. Atlanta has not specified the body part publicly.
  • When it happened: During the 2026 preseason, prior to the Sept 13 Week 1 opener at Pittsburgh.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: The absence of a return designation is the controlling fact: this is a season-ending placement regardless of the underlying injury class. No recovery range applies to his 2026 availability because the roster rule, not the biology, ends his season.
  • Expected back to full health: Not applicable for 2026 — he is out for the season. Any return would be for the 2027 league year.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY. Ineligible for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the Carolina Panthers and for every remaining 2026 game.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: ineligible in all four. He is a season-long non-factor.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Brian Robinson (RB2) is the primary handcuff to Bijan Robinson. Khalil Herbert (practice squad / DEV, signed Sept 16, 2026) and Cash Jones (practice squad / DEV) are the depth behind him.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was RES on the baseline and is RES today on the live nfl.com roster.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any format. Drop immediately if he is still on a bench anywhere. The relevant takeaway from his absence is that Brian Robinson is Atlanta’s only meaningful backup to Bijan Robinson, which makes Brian Robinson a legitimate handcuff hold in 12-team full-PPR leagues where Bijan is rostered.

Trevor Etienne — CAR (Depth RB — currently occupies no active depth-chart slot because he is on a reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status, not a weekly game-status designation. nfl.com’s live roster lists him RSR (Reserve/Injured — Designated to Return, No. 23). Because he sits on a reserve list he cannot appear on the weekly game-status report; this reserve status outranks anything about where or how the injury happened.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable / not reported (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not reported Wed Sept 16 -> not reported Thu Sept 17 -> not reported Fri Sept 18. Players on Reserve/Injured do not appear on the weekly practice participation report until their 21-day window is opened.
  • Injury: Undisclosed injury that led to the Reserve/Injured placement. Carolina has not specified the body part publicly.
  • When it happened: Sustained during the 2026 preseason / roster-cutdown period, before the Sept 14 opener vs Chicago.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: The ‘Designated to Return’ tag is the operative fact and it is a timeline rather than a diagnosis: minimum four regular-season games missed, then a 21-day practice window before activation. Without a disclosed body part, no injury-class recovery range can be responsibly assigned.
  • Expected back to full health: Eligible to return no earlier than Week 5 (the week of Oct 11, 2026). Practical activation more likely Weeks 6-8 once Carolina opens and works through his practice window.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY. Ineligible for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Atlanta Falcons — he is on Reserve/Injured and not on the active 53.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2, 3 and 4: ineligible, full stop. Week 5: the earliest permitted activation, and that would require Carolina to open his window in advance. A non-factor across the entire Weeks 2-5 window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Not applicable in the usual sense — his absence is already priced in. Chuba Hubbard (RB1), Jonathon Brooks (RB2) and AJ Dillon (RB3) constitute the full active backfield, with Anthony Tyus III (practice squad / DEV) as the emergency body.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was RSR on the baseline and is RSR today on the live nfl.com roster.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full-PPR. He is ineligible for at least four games and returns to a backfield that already has three backs ahead of him. Drop and ignore. Deep-dynasty holders can keep him on taxi.

Brittain Brown — CHI (Would be depth running back behind the top three; currently on injured reserve and off the active roster)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code RES on https://www.nfl.com/teams/chicago-bears/roster as of Sept 18, 2026. The reserve-list status outranks any game-status designation; he is not on the active roster and cannot be listed as Out.
  • Practice this week: Not reported — players on Reserve/Injured do not practice with the team and do not appear on the official participation report. Full week: no Wed, Thu or Fri participation of any kind.
  • Injury: Undisclosed — Chicago has not published a characterization of the injury that led to the IR placement.
  • When it happened: Late August 2026, around roster cutdowns, which is when the IR placement occurred. No more specific date has been made public.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not estimable without a disclosed injury type. In general, a depth back placed on IR at cutdowns faces at minimum a four-game absence if designated to return. Absent club disclosure, no responsible recovery window can be given.
  • Expected back to full health: Not reliably estimable given the undisclosed injury. Week 5 would be the earliest theoretical eligibility under a four-game minimum, but no practice window has been reported as opened and no public target exists.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY in Week 2 vs Minnesota on Sunday Sept 20, 2026. He is ineligible — on injured reserve, not on the active roster.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 2, 3 and 4 at minimum, with Week 5 the earliest theoretical return and no indication it is a live target. Even on activation he would be RB4 behind D’Andre Swift, Kyle Monangai and Roschon Johnson with no path to fantasy volume.
  • Who benefits if he sits: D’Andre Swift (RB1, ACT #4), Kyle Monangai (RB2, ACT #25) and Roschon Johnson (RB3, ACT #23) are the unaffected active backs — all three are available for Week 2. Salvon Ahmed (DEV, #36) and Zavier Scott (DEV) are the practice-squad depth.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — still RES (injured reserve) and still unavailable, with no practice window opened.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full PPR and not a stash. He is on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, no return window, and would be fourth on the depth chart if activated. Tracked only to record the reserve-list status accurately. The actionable Chicago backfield names are Swift and Monangai, both of whom are cleared for Week 2.

Isiah Pacheco — DET (Would be the complementary and short-yardage back behind Jahmyr Gibbs; currently on injured reserve and off the active roster)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code RES on https://www.nfl.com/teams/detroit-lions/roster as of Sept 18, 2026. The reserve-list status outranks any game-status designation; he is not on the active roster and cannot be listed as Out.
  • Practice this week: Not reported — players on Reserve/Injured do not practice with the team and do not appear on the official participation report. Full week: no participation of any kind during the Week 2 practice period (Detroit practiced Mon-Wed Sept 14-16 ahead of the Thursday Sept 17 game).
  • Injury: MCL sprain (knee).
  • When it happened: Sustained during the 2026 preseason / late August, leading to his IR placement before the regular season opened.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Isolated MCL sprains are graded: Grade 1 runs 1-2 weeks, Grade 2 runs 3-6 weeks, and Grade 3 runs 6-10 weeks or longer if surgery is needed. MCL injuries generally heal without surgery, which is favorable, but running backs are held conservatively because of the cutting and contact load. That Detroit used an IR placement rather than a weekly designation points to at least a Grade 2.
  • Expected back to full health: Early-to-mid October 2026. If he was placed on IR at or near cutdowns he must miss the first four games and is first eligible for Week 5; Detroit would need to open his 21-day practice window first. A Week 5-7 return is the realistic band.
  • Next game: DID NOT PLAY in Detroit’s Week 2 game at Buffalo on Thursday Sept 17, 2026 — he was ineligible, on injured reserve. NOTE: Detroit’s Week 2 game has already been played; the Lions lost 41-31.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 2 (already played), 3 and 4 by rule. Week 5 is the first eligible game and depends on Detroit opening his practice window during the Week 4 period. Even then he returns behind a healthy Jahmyr Gibbs and would be competing with Sione Vaki for the complementary role.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jahmyr Gibbs (RB1, ACT) is the workhorse and his role is unaffected — he caught a touchdown in the Thursday loss at Buffalo. Sione Vaki (RB2, ACT #33) is the complementary back and the primary beneficiary of Pacheco’s absence. Jacob Saylors (RB3, ACT #25) is the depth. Jabari Small (DEV) is the practice-squad option.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — still RES (injured reserve) and still unavailable. No practice window has been reported as opened.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full PPR. He is ineligible until Week 5 at the earliest and returns to a backfield where Jahmyr Gibbs is an every-week RB1 and Sione Vaki has already consolidated the complementary snaps. The only Detroit backfield handcuff worth a bench spot in a 12-teamer is Vaki, not Pacheco.

Myles Montgomery — NE (Reserve RB — not on the active depth chart; on Reserve/Injured and ineligible to practice or play)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an official reserve-list status (status code RES on the Sept 18, 2026 nfl.com New England roster), not a weekly game-status designation. He was placed on IR out of training camp, which absent a designated-to-return move means he is out for the season.
  • Practice this week: Not reported and not applicable — a player on Reserve/Injured is barred from practicing with the club. Full week: no participation logged Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 or Fri Sept 18; he appears on no New England practice report.
  • Injury: Undisclosed — New England has not specified the injury. He was placed on IR at the roster cutdown without a public diagnosis.
  • When it happened: During New England’s 2026 training camp or preseason, prior to the early-September 2026 roster reduction. He was on Reserve/Injured before the Week 1 game vs Seattle on Sept 9 and has not been on the field since.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Unquantifiable without a disclosed diagnosis. Procedurally, a player placed on IR at cutdown without a return designation is out for the season; if New England reserved a return slot, the minimum is four regular-season games missed followed by a 21-day practice window, making any return no earlier than Week 5.
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown medically. Procedurally, a 2026 return is unlikely; the earliest theoretical activation would be around Week 5 (Oct 11, 2026 vs Las Vegas), and New England has given no indication it intends to make that move.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 2 — he is ineligible by rule for New England’s Sunday Sept 20, 2026 home game vs the Pittsburgh Steelers. A Reserve/Injured player receives no game-status designation and does not count against the inactive list.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5, all ineligible. Out for Week 2 (Sept 20 vs Pittsburgh), Week 3 (Sept 27 at Jacksonville), Week 4 (Oct 4 at Buffalo) and Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Las Vegas). Assume no availability across the entire window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: His roster spot is already absorbed.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. Still Reserve/Injured, confirmed as RES on the Sept 18, 2026 nfl.com roster pull, still undisclosed, still ineligible. Verified against the current roster rather than carried over on faith.

Fantasy takeaway: Zero fantasy relevance in any 12-team full-PPR redraft format. He cannot play, likely will not play this season, and sits fourth or lower on the depth chart if activated. Do not roster.

Ty Chandler — NO (Depth RB — currently occupies no active depth-chart slot because he is on a reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status, not a weekly game-status designation. nfl.com’s live roster lists him RES (Reserve/Injured, with NO return designation, No. 32), which means he is out for the full 2026 season. This reserve status outranks anything about where or how the injury happened.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable / not reported (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not reported Wed Sept 16 -> not reported Thu Sept 17 -> not reported Fri Sept 18. Players on season-ending Reserve/Injured do not practice and do not appear on the weekly report.
  • Injury: Undisclosed injury sustained in the 2026 preseason. New Orleans has not specified the body part publicly.
  • When it happened: During the 2026 preseason, prior to the Sept 13 opener at Detroit.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: The absence of a return designation is the controlling fact: this is a season-ending placement regardless of the underlying injury class. No recovery range applies to his 2026 availability because the roster rule, not the biology, ends his season.
  • Expected back to full health: Not applicable for 2026 — out for the season. Any return would be for the 2027 league year.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY. Ineligible for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Baltimore Ravens and for every remaining 2026 game.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: ineligible in all four. A season-long non-factor.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Travis Etienne (RB1), Alvin Kamara (RB2), Kendre Miller (RB3) and CJ Donaldson (RB4, promoted to the active roster Sept 18, 2026) constitute the full active backfield.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was RES on the baseline and is RES today on the live nfl.com roster.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any format. Drop immediately if still held anywhere.

Chip Trayanum — NYJ (Reserve RB — not on the active depth chart; on Reserve/Injured and ineligible to practice or play)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an official reserve-list status (status code RES on the Sept 18, 2026 nfl.com New York Jets roster), not a weekly game-status designation.
  • Practice this week: Not reported and not applicable — a player on Reserve/Injured is barred from practicing with the club. Full week: no participation logged Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 or Fri Sept 18; he appears on no Jets practice report.
  • Injury: Undisclosed — the Jets have not specified the injury. He was placed on IR without a public diagnosis.
  • When it happened: During the Jets’ 2026 training camp or preseason, prior to the early-September 2026 roster reduction. He has been on Reserve/Injured since before the Week 1 game vs Tennessee on Sept 13, 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Unquantifiable without a disclosed diagnosis. The procedural constraint governs: a cutdown IR placement without a designated-to-return slot is season-ending; with a return slot, the minimum is four regular-season games missed plus a 21-day practice window, so no return before Week 5.
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown medically. Procedurally, the earliest theoretical activation is around Week 5 (Oct 11, 2026 vs Cleveland), with a season-long absence more likely. The Jets have signaled nothing.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 2 — ineligible by rule for the Jets’ Sunday Sept 20, 2026 home game vs the Green Bay Packers. A Reserve/Injured player receives no game-status designation and does not count against the inactive list.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5, all ineligible. Out for Week 2 (Sept 20 vs Green Bay), Week 3 (Sept 27 at Detroit), Week 4 (Oct 4 at Chicago) and Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Cleveland). Assume no availability across the window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Already absorbed.

He cannot play, is unlikely to play this season, and sits fifth or lower if activated. Do not roster.

Zach Charbonnet — SEA (Not on the active depth chart — would be a lead or co-lead back ahead of or alongside Jadarian Price when activated)

  • Status: PUP — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried as PUP (active/Physically Unable to Perform) on the official nfl.com Seahawks roster as of Sept 18, 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not quantifiable without a named injury; the four-game active/PUP minimum governs regardless of how quickly he heals.
  • Expected back to full health: First eligible Week 5, approximately Oct 11-18, 2026. Watch for Seattle opening his 21-day practice window in Week 4.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY and is INELIGIBLE. He cannot be activated for Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Arizona Cardinals or for any game before Week 5.
  • Next four weeks: Ineligible for Weeks 2, 3 and 4 by rule. Week 5 is his first eligible game and he is the most interesting stash in this division’s backfields: rookie Jadarian Price has the early-down job (10 carries, 52 yards in the opener) but Seattle’s rushing attack has not been dominant, and Charbonnet has an established NFL track record that Price does not.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jadarian Price (RB1) leads on early downs, George Holani (RB2) handles third-down and goal-line work, and Emanuel Wilson (RB3) takes limited red-zone snaps. Brady Russell is the fullback.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. Still on active/PUP per the official roster, still ineligible until Week 5, still no practice window opened.

Fantasy takeaway: Stash him in 12-team full-PPR if your bench allows — he is the best RB stash in the NFC West. He is first eligible in Week 5 and walks back into a backfield led by a rookie in Jadarian Price whose grip is not firm. Acquire him cheaply now from a manager tired of holding an unavailable player; his Week 5-plus role could be a legitimate RB2. Note this cuts against Price’s rest-of-season value.

Jeremy McNichols — WAS (Reserve-list running back — not on the active roster and off the active depth chart.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) a reserve-list roster status, not a weekly game-status tag. nfl.com shows him with the code RSR (reserve) on Washington’s official roster as of Fri Sept 18, 2026. He was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return, requiring a minimum four-game absence. The reserve-list status outranks any practice discussion.
  • Practice this week: No practice participation is filed for a player on the reserve list. He did not participate Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 or Fri Sept 18 and is not eligible to. No 21-day practice window has been opened as of Friday Sept 18, 2026.
  • Injury: Quadriceps injury.
  • When it happened: Sustained during Washington’s 2026 preseason/training-camp period; he was placed on injured reserve with a return designation before the regular season began and has been on the list since before Week 1.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Quadriceps strains: Grade 1 roughly 1-3 weeks, Grade 2 roughly 4-6 weeks, Grade 3 (with tendon involvement) 3+ months and often surgical. A quad injury serious enough for an IR-with-return-designation placement rather than week-to-week handling points to at least a Grade 2. Note that the four-game minimum, not the muscle, is the binding constraint here.
  • Expected back to full health: Earliest activation is Week 5 (the week of Oct 4-8, 2026) under the four-game minimum, and only if Washington opens his 21-day practice window first. Realistically, full health and a real role are more likely mid-to-late October 2026 — Weeks 6-7.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET). Reserve-list players are ineligible to play.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 2 (vs DAL), 3 and 4 with certainty. Week 5 is the first week he is eligible to be activated. Watch for the club to open his practice window in late September as the leading indicator.
  • Who benefits if he sits: His roster spot and change-of-pace snaps are already covered by Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB1), Rachaad White (RB2) and Kaytron Allen (RB3), with Craig Reynolds and Robert Henry Jr. on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. Still on the reserve list with a designation to return and a quadriceps injury; no practice window has been opened.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR league. He is a deep-league watch-list name at most — even on return he would be the fourth back in a three-man rotation that already has a defined lead, a pass-catcher and a goal-line specialist. Do not use a bench or IR slot on him.

Jordan Mason — MIN (Was the 1B in a near-even committee with Aaron Jones and led the team in Week 1 rushing; now on injured reserve and off the Week 2 depth chart entirely)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code RES on https://www.nfl.com/teams/minnesota-vikings/roster as of Sept 18, 2026. Placed on IR Wednesday Sept 16, 2026. This is a short-term/designated-to-return IR placement, not a season-ending one. The reserve-list status outranks any game-status designation; he cannot be listed as Out because he is not on the active roster.
  • Practice this week: Not reported — players on Reserve/Injured do not practice with the team and do not appear on the official participation report. Full week: no Wed, Thu or Fri participation of any kind.
  • Injury: Fractured thumb, surgically repaired. Reported as a thumb fracture requiring surgery rather than a pin-and-play situation.
  • When it happened: Sunday Sept 13, 2026, during Minnesota’s Week 1 win over Green Bay. He played through it — he led the Vikings with 59 rushing yards on 15 carries and scored a 1-yard touchdown. The fracture was identified after the game and he was placed on IR three days later on Sept 16.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A surgically fixed thumb fracture in a ball-carrier typically costs 4-8 weeks. Non-displaced fractures managed with a screw can return in 4-6 weeks with a cast or club; displaced or multi-fragment fractures run 6-10 weeks. Running backs are on the shorter end of that band relative to receivers because ball security can be managed with a club cast, but fumble risk keeps clubs conservative.
  • Expected back to full health: Late October 2026. He must miss a minimum of four games under short-term IR rules, making him first eligible to return for Week 6 (weekend of Oct 18). A Week 6-8 return is the realistic window, with Week 7 the most probable if the surgery was routine.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY in Week 2 at Chicago on Sunday Sept 20, 2026. He is ineligible — on injured reserve, not merely inactive.
  • Next four weeks: Out for all of Weeks 2, 3, 4 and 5 without exception; short-term IR mandates a four-game minimum absence from the date of placement. Week 6 is the earliest possible activation, and Minnesota would need to open his 21-day practice window before that. Treat Weeks 2-5 as a guaranteed zero.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Aaron Jones (RB1, ACT #33) is the clear primary and will lead the backfield Sunday — he absorbs the bulk of Mason’s vacated early-down and goal-line work.
  • Change since Week 1: MAJOR CHANGE. On the Sept 12 baseline Mason was ACT and the co-lead back. He is now RES (injured reserve) as of Sept 16. This also forced two other roster corrections against the baseline: DeeJay Dallas moved from DEV (practice squad) to ACT, and Jerome Ford is a new practice-squad addition who was not on the baseline at all.

Fantasy takeaway: Mason is a drop in 12-team full PPR unless you have an IR slot — he is a four-game minimum absence with a realistic Week 6-8 return. The actionable side is Aaron Jones, who becomes a clear RB2 with RB1 upside on volume for the next month; if you own Jones, this is a legitimate sell-high window because the workload spike is temporary and he is 31. Demond Claiborne is the speculative add — he is the handcuff with standalone upside and should be rostered in deeper 12-team leagues. DeeJay Dallas is a special-teams promotion, not a fantasy asset.

Questionable — game-time calls (4)

The genuine coin flips. Watch the inactives list, which posts about 90 minutes before kickoff, and have a replacement ready.

RJ Harvey — DEN (RB2 — the change-of-pace and passing-down complement to J.K. Dobbins, and a listed backup kickoff returner)

  • Status: QUESTIONABLE — (a) FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by Denver on the Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 20 game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.
  • Practice this week: Limited (Friday Sept 18). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 16 (estimated — Denver held no true Wednesday practice off the Monday night game, so Wednesday is an estimated non-participation) -> Limited Thu Sept 17 -> Limited Fri Sept 18. Two consecutive limited practices into a Questionable is the lean-positive version of this tag.
  • Injury: Hamstring strain.
  • When it happened: Between the Monday Sept 14, 2026 Week 1 loss at Kansas City and Denver’s first Week 2 injury report on Wednesday Sept 16, 2026, when he first appeared as an estimated non-participant. Denver has not stated whether it occurred in the game itself or in the early-week conditioning work; he carried no injury designation on the final Week 1 report, so it is new within that window.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Hamstring strains grade out as: Grade 1 (mild) 1-2 weeks, Grade 2 (moderate/partial tear) 3-6 weeks, Grade 3 (full tear) 8-12 weeks or surgical. Reaching two limited practices by Thursday and Friday of the same week points squarely at a Grade 1. The real hazard with hamstrings is not the initial strain but the re-injury rate — roughly a third of NFL hamstring strains recur within the same season, and re-aggravations are consistently worse than the original.
  • Expected back to full health: Late September 2026 — he should be fully unrestricted by Week 3 (Sept 27) or Week 4 (early October) even if Denver manages his snaps in Week 2. Call it full health by the first week of October.
  • Next game: LEAN PLAY but with a reduced workload, Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Denver (2:05 p.m. MT, CBS). Two limited practices is a meaningfully better signal than one, and Denver is at home against a Jacksonville team that has all 53 active-roster players healthy and cleared — the Broncos will want their full backfield. Expect him active but with Denver leaning harder on Dobbins and pulling Harvey off kick-return duty.
  • Next four weeks: Week 2 (vs. JAX, Sept 20): active but snap-limited; treat any projection as 60-70 percent of his normal usage. Week 3: should be clean if there is no setback. Weeks 4-5: full role, assuming no recurrence. The single biggest risk across this stretch is a re-aggravation in Week 2 while playing at less than full strength, which would turn a one-week nuisance into a three-to-four-week absence. If Denver rules him out late Sunday morning, the value shifts entirely to Dobbins.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jonah Coleman (RB3) is the direct next man up and would step into the RB2 role, per Denver beat reporting on the Friday report.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW TO THE REPORT. Harvey carried no injury designation at all on Denver’s final Week 1 injury report filed Friday Sept 11, 2026 and was not on the Sept 12 baseline. The hamstring surfaced for the first time on Denver’s estimated Wednesday Sept 16, 2026 Week 2 report.

Fantasy takeaway: A risky FLEX in a 12-team full-PPR league — his passing-down role is exactly the usage a hamstring most suppresses, and a limited-practice hamstring back is the classic Sunday disappointment. Have a replacement ready. The actionable move is the other side of the trade: J.K. Dobbins is a confident RB2 start this week with his handcuff compromised and Jacksonville arriving fully healthy but on the road. Jonah Coleman is worth a speculative 1-3 percent FAAB bid as a same-backfield contingency if you already roster Dobbins or Harvey; do not spend more than that.

Kaelon Black — SF (RB2 — the rookie who out-carried Christian McCaffrey in Week 1 and now sits second on the Ourlads depth chart, ahead of Jordan James)

  • Status: QUESTIONABLE — (a) FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by San Francisco on the Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sept 20 home game vs. the Miami Dolphins.
  • Practice this week: Limited (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> Limited Thu Sept 17 -> Limited Fri Sept 18. He was seen practicing Friday, which is a meaningful positive against the Questionable tag.
  • Injury: Groin (adductor strain).
  • When it happened: Between the Week 1 Melbourne game (Sept 10) and Thursday, Sept 17, 2026 — he was clean on the Wednesday report and first appeared as Limited on Thursday, so this was almost certainly picked up in the Thursday practice session or in post-travel recovery work.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Groin/adductor strains are 1-2 weeks for Grade 1, 3-6 weeks for Grade 2, and 8-12 weeks or surgical for Grade 3. Practicing in a limited capacity on back-to-back days two days after onset is the signature of a Grade 1.
  • Expected back to full health: Week 3 (late September 2026) at the latest. He may well be fully healthy for Week 2 itself, just managed.
  • Next game: LIKELY PLAYS, on a reduced or monitored workload. Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Miami Dolphins. Limited participation on consecutive days with a Questionable tag is the classic ‘plays but is not the full version’ profile.
  • Next four weeks: Week 2 vs. Miami: expect him active with fewer carries than his Week 1 share. Weeks 3-5: full health and a return to the committee, where he is the change-of-pace and early-down complement to McCaffrey. His value spikes the moment McCaffrey misses time, which at McCaffrey’s age and injury history is not a remote scenario.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jordan James (RB3) is the direct beneficiary and would slot in as the clear No. 2 behind McCaffrey. Christian McCaffrey’s own workload would climb. Sincere McCormick is on the practice squad as the emergency body. Kyle Juszczyk would see a modest bump in short-yardage involvement.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW TO THE REPORT. He does not appear in the Sept 12 baseline — he was healthy in Week 1 and took 14 carries for 65 yards in Melbourne, out-carrying McCaffrey.

Fantasy takeaway: Flex-worthy in 12-team full-PPR but a shaky one this week — a Questionable groin on a committee back in a game the 49ers should control is a recipe for a 7-touch dud. If you rostered him as the McCaffrey handcuff, keep holding; that is his real value. If you were counting on him as a flex starter, pivot and keep him on the bench until the groin is off the report.

Ty Johnson — BUF (RB3 — nominally the passing-down back and Ourlads’ listed RB2, but functionally third behind James Cook and Ray Davis given two straight game-day inactives)

  • Status: QUESTIONABLE — (a) a FINAL official game-status designation filed by Buffalo on the Wednesday Sept 16, 2026 report for the Thursday Sept 17 game vs Detroit (Wednesday is the final report day on a short Thursday week). He was then declared INACTIVE 90 minutes before kickoff and did not play. Buffalo’s Week 2 game is complete, so this designation has already resolved to a DNP.
  • Practice this week: Limited (final practice, Wednesday Sept 16). Full short week: Limited Mon Sept 14 -> Limited Tue Sept 15 -> Limited Wed Sept 16. He never reached full participation at any point in the week, which is what preceded the inactive call.
  • Injury: Hamstring strain (Buffalo has not specified left or right, and has not publicly graded it)
  • When it happened: Originated in the practice week leading into Week 1 — he was first listed on Buffalo’s Sept 9-11, 2026 reports and was already Questionable for the Sept 13 game at Houston, which he missed. Most consistent with a late-camp/early-September practice strain rather than a game injury; the club has never tied it to a specific snap.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Hamstring strains are graded I-III. Grade I (mild, few fibers) is 1-2 weeks. Grade II (partial tear) is 3-6 weeks and is the most common range for a back who keeps getting limited-but-not-full and keeps being scratched. Grade III (full tear/avulsion) is 8-12 weeks or surgical. Johnson’s pattern — limited practices for two consecutive weeks, never full, inactive twice — is the classic low-to-mid Grade II presentation. Hamstrings in running backs are notoriously prone to re-injury if rushed, which is exactly why Buffalo keeps sitting a back who is technically practicing.
  • Expected back to full health: Late September to early October 2026 — realistically Week 3 (Sept 27) at the earliest for a return to the active roster, with Week 4 (Oct 4) the more defensible bet for genuine full health and an unrestricted role.
  • Next game: DID NOT PLAY. Buffalo’s Week 2 game — Thursday Sept 17, 2026 vs the Detroit Lions — has already been played, and Johnson was one of seven Bills inactives alongside Ed Oliver, Skyler Bell, Jalon Kilgore, Ar’maj Reed-Adams, Jude Bowry and T.J. Sanders. He has now missed both Bills games this season. The next decision point is Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Los Angeles Chargers, where the 10-day break off the Thursday game gives him the most runway he has had all season.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 17 vs Detroit) — inactive, did not play. Week 3 (Sept 27 vs the Los Angeles Chargers) — lean toward him finally being active given the extended rest, but even if active he is behind Cook and Davis and is a passing-down specialist at best. Week 4 (Oct 4 vs New England) — should be healthy and available. Week 5 (Oct 12, Monday night at the Los Angeles Rams) — healthy, but by then Ray Davis will have two-plus weeks of entrenched RB2 reps and Johnson’s path back to meaningful volume is narrow. The realistic ceiling for the rest of this stretch is a third-down/two-minute change-of-pace role.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Ray Davis (ACT) is the direct beneficiary and has been the de facto RB2 behind James Cook for both games. James Cook (ACT) is the far larger beneficiary in raw volume — Johnson’s absence removes the only back who threatens Cook’s passing-down work. Frank Gore Jr. (DEV, practice squad) is the emergency third body and would require a gameday elevation.
  • Change since Week 1: SAME designation as Sept 12 (Questionable, hamstring), but MATERIALLY WORSE in practical terms. On Sept 12 he had progressed DNP -> DNP -> Limited and there was a case he was trending up. He has now been inactive in both Week 1 and Week 2, never reached a full practice, and the depth chart has hardened behind him with Ray Davis taking the RB2 reps. The designation did not change; the outlook clearly deteriorated.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Two straight inactives with a lingering hamstring and no clear path past Ray Davis makes him waiver-wire fodder. The real fantasy content here is downstream: James Cook is a locked-in RB1 with zero passing-down competition, and Ray Davis is a legitimate high-priority handcuff stash — Davis is the Cook handcuff, not Johnson, and anyone still holding Johnson as the Buffalo handcuff is holding the wrong player. Drop Johnson for a startable bench piece.

DJ Giddens — IND (RB3 — Ourlads has him third behind Jonathan Taylor and Seth McGowan; he was a healthy inactive in Week 1)

  • Status: QUESTIONABLE — (a) FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by Indianapolis on the Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 20 game at the Kansas City Chiefs. Confirmed on nfl.com/injuries and on the joint Colts-Chiefs Week 2 report.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> DNP Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He was added to the report Thursday, then returned to full participation Friday — an encouraging trajectory that makes the Questionable tag look precautionary.
  • Injury: Knee
  • When it happened: Emerged Thursday Sept 17, 2026 — he was added to the injury report that day and did not practice. He did not play in Week 1 vs Baltimore (healthy inactive), so this is a practice-week injury rather than a game injury.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: An unspecified knee complaint that permits full participation within 24 hours is almost always a bruise, a mild sprain or soreness — typically 0-7 days. If it were ligamentous (MCL Grade 1 is 1-3 weeks, Grade 2 is 3-6 weeks), he would not have returned to full practice on Friday.
  • Expected back to full health: Effectively already there — full participation Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2). Expect him off the injury report entirely by Week 3 (late September 2026).
  • Next game: EXPECTED TO PLAY, though as a Questionable designation it is not guaranteed. If active Sunday Sept 20 at the Kansas City Chiefs (8:20 PM ET, Arrowhead), he is the No. 3 back and may again be a healthy scratch given he was inactive in Week 1 even while healthy.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: the knee is a non-story; the depth chart is the story. He sits behind Jonathan Taylor and Seth McGowan and was inactive on game day in Week 1. Unless Taylor misses time, Giddens has no standalone path to touches through Week 5.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Seth McGowan is RB2 and the direct handcuff to Jonathan Taylor; practice-squad backs Davon Booth and Anderson Castle are the emergency elevations behind Giddens.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW to this report. Giddens was not on the Sept 12 baseline injury list and was a healthy inactive for Week 1 vs Baltimore. The knee surfaced Thursday Sept 17 and produced a Friday Questionable tag.

Fantasy takeaway: Do not start, and do not spend waiver capital. The Questionable tag is noise — the relevant fact for a 12-team full-PPR manager is that he is RB3 and was a healthy inactive in Week 1, so Seth McGowan, not Giddens, is the Jonathan Taylor handcuff worth holding. Drop Giddens if you need the bench spot.

Cleared — listed this week but carrying no designation (39)

The good news. Every player here carried an injury or a listing at some point this week and finished it without a designation.

Jeremiyah Love — ARI (RB2 by listing, but a true committee co-starter with Tyler Allgeier — the rookie No. 3 overall pick and the long-term lead back)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO entry at all on Arizona’s FINAL official Friday injury report of Sept 18, 2026 for the Sept 20 game vs. Seattle. He has been removed from the injury report entirely.
  • Practice this week: Full participant and not listed on the report at any point this week. Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> not listed Thu Sept 17 -> not listed Fri Sept 18. Contrast with Week 1, when he was Limited on all three days and carried a Questionable tag.
  • Injury: High ankle sprain, right ankle — now healed. Love’s own words entering Week 2: ‘It’s all gas, no brakes.’
  • When it happened: Preseason opener, August 2026. It cost him the balance of the preseason and had him on a snap/carry pitch count through Week 1.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: High ankle (syndesmotic) sprains run 2-4 weeks for Grade 1, 4-8 weeks for Grade 2 and 8-12 weeks or surgery for Grade 3. Love is now roughly six weeks removed from an August injury, which puts him at the back end of a Grade 1-2 timeline — consistent with a full, clean clearance.
  • Expected back to full health: Already there. Fully healthy as of Week 2, Sept 18, 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, fully cleared and with no designation, for Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Seattle Seahawks in Arizona.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available for Weeks 2 through 5. The constraint on him is no longer the ankle, it is the coaching staff: Mike LaFleur explicitly said ‘I wouldn’t say an expanded role or anything like that. I mean, his role was going to be what it was,’ and that the team will ride ‘whoever was the hot hand.’ Expect a near-even split with Allgeier in Week 2 that tilts toward Love as the season goes on. James Conner is eligible to return from IR beginning Week 5, which is the real threat to this backfield’s shape.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is healthy. For completeness, Tyler Allgeier is the co-starter and Bam Knight is the RB3.
  • Change since Week 1: MATERIAL UPGRADE. On Sept 12 he was Limited all three practice days and carried a FINAL QUESTIONABLE designation on Arizona’s Week 1 report. He is now completely off the injury report with no designation and has publicly declared himself 100 percent.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him with confidence in 12-team full-PPR as an RB2/flex. He posted 13 touches (11 carries, 2 catches) for 50 scrimmage yards and a TD in his debut while still on a pitch count, and the pitch count is now gone. He is the highest-upside buy in this division — his price is still suppressed by the ankle narrative and by a committee that the staff has all but said will resolve toward the better player. Buy now, before the Week 5 Conner return muddies the picture.

Chuba Hubbard — CAR (RB1 — and after Week 1, a genuine workhorse rather than the 1A of a committee (48 snaps, 71 percent))

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he does not appear anywhere on Carolina’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official injury report for the Sept 20 game at Atlanta, the second consecutive week he has been fully off the report.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> not listed Thu Sept 17 -> not listed Fri Sept 18. Practicing without restriction for a second straight week.
  • Injury: Hamstring (resolved prior to Week 1)
  • When it happened: Originated in Carolina’s 2026 training camp (late July / August 2026), when he was publicly described as ‘week-to-week’ with a hamstring. It resolved before the Sept 14 opener.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Hamstring strains run 1-3 weeks for Grade 1, 3-6 weeks for Grade 2, and carry an elevated recurrence rate for roughly 4-8 weeks after return — which is the live risk here, since he is only about six weeks removed from a camp strain and just absorbed a 71 percent snap load. That workload spike is the specific thing that re-tears hamstrings. Report him healthy, but treat him as the division’s most likely candidate for a soft-tissue re-aggravation.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, Week 2. He is past the acute phase; residual recurrence risk persists through roughly early-to-mid October 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY. No designation for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Atlanta Falcons.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: projected to play all four as Carolina’s lead back. The watch item is volume management — 48 snaps and 13 touches in a blowout loss suggests Carolina is not protecting him. If a Wednesday ‘Limited — hamstring’ line reappears on any future report, move immediately to secure Jonathon Brooks.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jonathon Brooks (RB2) is the direct beneficiary and would become an every-week RB2 with immediate 15-plus touch upside. AJ Dillon (RB3) would take short-yardage and goal-line work.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — he was already off the report on the baseline and remains off it. What is new is confirmation from Week 1 usage that he is a true bell cow rather than half of a committee, which raises his floor considerably.

Fantasy takeaway: START HIM as a solid RB2 in 12-team full-PPR. Week 1 delivered 10 carries for 49 yards and a TD plus 3 catches for 38 yards and a second TD — a 71 percent snap share with real receiving involvement is exactly the profile PPR rewards. The caveat is the camp hamstring; if you roster him, spend a late waiver claim on Brooks as insurance.

D’Andre Swift — CHI (RB1 — lead back and primary passing-down option)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) Chicago filed its FINAL Friday report on Sept 18, 2026 for the Sept 20 game vs Minnesota with Swift listed as a full participant and NO designation. He appeared on the participation report during the week but was cleared off the game-status column.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Limited Wed -> Limited Thu -> Full Fri. The Friday upgrade to full participation is what removed the designation.
  • Injury: Ankle/knee — listed jointly on Chicago’s report. Neither is characterized as significant; the club treated it as maintenance and he was never in danger of a designation.
  • When it happened: Sustained in Week 1 vs Carolina, Sunday Sept 13, 2026. He was not on the Sept 11 Week 1 final report, so the issue arose in the game itself. He first appeared on the Week 2 report on Wednesday Sept 16 as a new addition.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Minor ankle and knee contusions or low-grade sprains in running backs that permit limited practice midweek and full practice Friday resolve within the same week essentially by definition. Players on this arc almost never miss the following game, and the practical injury risk is a modest re-aggravation chance rather than lost time.
  • Expected back to full health: Effectively already there, as of Friday Sept 18, 2026. He reached full practice on the final day of the Week 2 practice week and carries no restriction into the game.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY in Week 2 vs Minnesota on Sunday Sept 20, 2026. Full Friday practice, no designation. Expect his normal lead-back workload.
  • Next four weeks: Clean for Weeks 2 through 5 on current information. The one structural risk to his fantasy value across this window is not the ankle or knee — it is Kyle Monangai, who has been steadily working into a larger share and is also fully cleared. Watch the Week 2 carry split closely; if Monangai’s share grows again, Swift’s Weeks 3-5 outlook degrades on usage rather than health.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Kyle Monangai (RB2, ACT #25) is the direct beneficiary and would lead the backfield — he is himself fully cleared for Week 2. Roschon Johnson (RB3, ACT #23) would handle short-yardage and goal-line work. Salvon Ahmed (DEV, #36) is the practice-squad emergency option.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW to the injury report. On the Sept 12 baseline Swift was explicitly listed as resolved and absent from Chicago’s Week 1 final report. The ankle/knee issue arose in the Week 1 game and put him on the Week 2 report Wednesday, but he practiced up to full by Friday and drew no designation.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a normal RB2 in 12-team full PPR — the Friday full practice and the absent designation remove the injury question entirely. Do not read the two limited days as a workload warning. The real thing to monitor is not his ankle but Monangai’s snap share; Swift’s passing-down role is what keeps his PPR floor intact, and that is the piece to watch erode, not his health.

Javonte Williams — DAL (RB1 — clear three-down lead back and the only every-down option in the Dallas backfield.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he does not appear at all on the Cowboys’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official game-status report for the Sept 20 game vs Washington. The Cowboys’ Week 2 report is limited to DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring, Out), Malik Hooker (forearm, Out), James Houston (shoulder) and Ajani Cornelius (knee). Williams is fully clear.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report at any point this week, therefore no participation level is filed. He practiced in full Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: None. Healthy.
  • When it happened: N/A — no current injury. He is listed here because the Malik Davis IR placement reshaped the depth behind him and he is the player that thread runs through.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — no active injury to recover from. Historical context only: he is three-plus years removed from the 2022 multi-ligament knee injury and has shown no 2026 usage restriction.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: ACTIVE and starting for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 vs the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET).
  • Next four weeks: Expected to start Weeks 2 (vs WAS), 3, 4 and 5 with a workhorse touch share. With Davis gone for the year and Demercado/Goodson as the only competition, his floor of touches is actually higher than it was on Sept 12.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Emari Demercado (RB2, pass-down and change-of-pace back) would lead a committee, with Tyler Goodson (RB3) taking the complementary work and Hunter Luepke (FB) handling short-yardage and goal-line.
  • Change since Week 1: No injury change since Sept 12 — he was healthy then and is healthy now. What changed is around him: Malik Davis went to season-ending IR and Tyler Goodson was signed, consolidating the backfield behind Williams.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him with confidence in 12-team full-PPR as a locked-in RB1/RB2 against a Washington defense that just gave up a competitive game to Philadelphia. His workload risk went DOWN this week, not up — Davis’s IR removes a body from the rotation. If you roster Williams, spend a modest FAAB bid on Emari Demercado; that handcuff is now cheap and singular.

J.K. Dobbins — DEN (RB1 — lead back and the primary early-down/goal-line runner; Ourlads has him first in the room on its Sept 16 update)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (b) he does not appear anywhere on Denver’s Week 2 injury report for the Sept 20 game vs. Jacksonville. No practice-report entry Wed/Thu/Fri, no game-status tag Friday. Fully cleared and available.
  • Practice this week: Full — unlisted, which on an NFL report means unrestricted participation. Full week: not on the report Wed Sept 16 -> not on the report Thu Sept 17 -> not on the report Fri Sept 18. A player who never appears on the practice report is by definition a full participant.
  • Injury: None currently. No active injury designation of any kind. His prior foot issue is fully resolved and has not appeared on a 2026 regular-season injury report.
  • When it happened: Not applicable for Week 2 — there is no current injury. His last tracked issue was a 2025-season foot problem that resolved before the 2026 season opened; he has been off the injury report for both Week 1 and Week 2 of 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — no active injury. For context on the resolved foot issue, midfoot problems of the type he previously dealt with typically run 4-8 weeks, and he is well past that and asymptomatic through two full game weeks of practice.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2). No return-to-health date is pending.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Denver (2:05 p.m. MT, CBS). No designation, no restriction, and with RJ Harvey questionable with a hamstring he is positioned for an elevated workload.
  • Next four weeks: Week 2 (vs. JAX, Sept 20): elevated volume, potentially approaching a bellcow share if Harvey is limited or inactive. Weeks 3-5: he should hold the RB1 role, though the split narrows as Harvey gets healthy — Denver drafted Harvey to be a real part of this backfield and will get back to a committee. The durability question that has followed Dobbins his whole career is the standing risk, not any current ailment.
  • Who benefits if he sits: RJ Harvey (RB2) would be the lead back, though he is himself questionable with a hamstring this week. Jonah Coleman (RB3) is next and would take the complementary snaps. Tyler Badie (RB4) is the emergency body. If both Dobbins and Harvey were unavailable, Coleman would be a startable one-week FLEX by sheer volume.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — still fully cleared with no injury designation, exactly as on the Sept 12 baseline. The one meaningful CONTEXT change is external to him: RJ Harvey’s new hamstring strain has improved Dobbins’ projected workload for Week 2. Depth-chart position unchanged at RB1, roster status unchanged at ACT.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him with confidence as an RB2 in 12-team full-PPR. This is the cleanest positive-leverage spot in the division: a healthy lead back at home whose committee partner is dinged, against a Jacksonville defense on the road. Denver’s Week 1 loss at Kansas City was a script-negative game and a bounce-back home game is a better volume environment. If you drafted him at a discount on durability concerns, this is the week the investment pays.

Jahmyr Gibbs — DET (RB1 — workhorse back and primary receiving back)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) Detroit’s FINAL Week 2 official report, filed Sept 16, 2026 for the Thursday Sept 17 game at Buffalo, carried no entry for Gibbs. He played and was not limited.
  • Practice this week: Full — not listed on any day of Detroit’s Week 2 participation report during the short Thursday-game practice week (Mon-Wed, Sept 14-16). Unrestricted throughout.
  • Injury: None active.
  • When it happened: N/A — no in-season injury. He was managed and ramped up during training camp in August 2026, but that was precautionary workload management and never produced a regular-season designation.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — healthy, no injury to recover from.
  • Expected back to full health: Currently at full health as of Sept 18, 2026. He came out of the Thursday Sept 17 game at Buffalo with no reported issue.
  • Next game: ALREADY PLAYED Week 2 — he played at Buffalo on Thursday Sept 17, 2026 and caught a touchdown pass in the 41-31 loss. He did not leave the game and there is no post-game injury reporting on him.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy through Weeks 2 (played), 3, 4 and 5. Detroit’s Thursday game buys the roster extra recovery days before Week 3. With Isiah Pacheco on IR, Gibbs’s workload share has no meaningful competition beyond Sione Vaki’s complementary snaps. Shootout game scripts of the kind Buffalo produced are strongly positive for his receiving volume.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Sione Vaki (RB2, ACT #33) would take over as the lead back and is the direct handcuff. Jacob Saylors (RB3, ACT #25) is next. Isiah Pacheco is unavailable on injured reserve, which makes Vaki the only meaningful contingency.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW to the report as a confirmed-healthy entry. He was not on the Sept 12 baseline injury list. He is included because Detroit’s Week 2 game is already complete and confirming his post-game health status is the actionable fact for Week 3 lineup decisions.

Fantasy takeaway: A locked-in every-week RB1 in 12-team full PPR — his Week 2 receiving touchdown is exactly the profile that makes him format-proof. Tracked here to confirm he exited the Thursday game healthy, which matters because the Lions played early and their managers set lineups before the rest of the league. Hold Sione Vaki on your bench if you can afford it; with Pacheco on IR, Vaki is the single highest-leverage handcuff in this division.

Bhayshul Tuten — JAX (RB1 by Ourlads ordering — co-starter with Chris Rodriguez Jr. in a genuine committee backfield)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) final Friday outcome: fully cleared, no injury and no game-status tag on Jacksonville’s official Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sept 20 game at Denver. He does not appear on the Week 2 report.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. Not listed on the Jaguars’ Week 2 injury report at any point.
  • Injury: None active — the prior issue carried on the Sept 12 baseline is fully resolved.
  • When it happened: Not applicable. The prior issue cleared before the Sept 13 Week 1 win over Cleveland, which he played.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — no active injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2), and has been since before Week 1.
  • Next game: PLAYING, unrestricted. He is in the starting backfield Sunday Sept 20 at the Denver Broncos (4:05 PM ET, Empower Field).
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: health is a non-issue; the committee is the issue. He splits early-down work with Chris Rodriguez Jr. and is now facing pressure on passing downs from LeQuint Allen Jr., whom Coen has promised a larger role. Denver in Week 2 is a poor run matchup. His value depends entirely on whether he separates from Rodriguez over this stretch.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Chris Rodriguez Jr. would become the clear lead back, with LeQuint Allen Jr. on passing downs and Ameer Abdullah as the veteran change-up. A Tuten injury would make Rodriguez an immediate must-add.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 on health — he was already logged as resolved on the baseline and remains off the injury report entirely. Reported here as cleared rather than dropped silently, per the tracking rule. Context change: the backfield around him got more crowded with Coen’s comments on LeQuint Allen Jr.

Fantasy takeaway: Volatile RB3/flex in 12-team full PPR — startable only in deeper leagues or bye-week binds. The committee caps his ceiling and the Denver front caps his Week 2 floor. Hold, monitor the snap split, and be aware that LeQuint Allen Jr.’s expanding role is a direct threat to Tuten’s receiving work.

Ashton Jeanty — LV (RB1 — workhorse lead back and the centerpiece of the Raiders offense; Mike Washington Jr. is the listed RB2 behind him)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (b) he was carried on the Raiders’ Week 2 practice report with an ankle notation but received NO final game-status tag on the Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 20 game at the Los Angeles Chargers. Fully cleared.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. Three full participations with no Friday tag, explicitly described by the club as full participation all week.
  • Injury: Right ankle — a resolved sprain carried as a maintenance notation only. Three straight full practices and no designation confirm it is not functionally limiting.
  • When it happened: Originally sustained August 23, 2026 in the preseason. It resolved before Week 1 — he carried no game-status designation on the Raiders’ final Week 1 report filed Friday Sept 11, 2026 and played against Miami. The ankle remains a treatment notation rather than an active problem.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Ankle sprains grade out as: Grade 1 (low/lateral) 1-2 weeks, Grade 2 2-4 weeks, Grade 3 or a high ankle sprain 4-8 weeks with lingering explosiveness effects. Jeanty is roughly four weeks past the original August 23 event and has practiced fully for two consecutive game weeks, which places it firmly in the resolved Grade 1 category.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2). No pending milestone; expect the ankle notation to drop off the report entirely.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY with a full workload, Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 at the Los Angeles Chargers (SoFi Stadium, 1:05 p.m. PT). No designation and no restriction.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: locked-in weekly RB1 with a genuine workhorse share. His receiving usage should tick UP in Week 2 specifically, because with Brock Bowers doubtful the Raiders lose their primary seam threat and Kirk Cousins leans harder on checkdowns — Jeanty is the direct beneficiary of that. Expect the passing-game bump to fade somewhat once Bowers returns around Week 3.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Mike Washington Jr. (RB2) would be the lead back and would carry standalone FLEX value given the volume. Dylan Laube (RB3) handles third-down and passing-game snaps. Dare Ogunbowale (DEV) and Roman Hemby (DEV) are practice-squad elevation candidates; Chris Collier is on Reserve/Injured and unavailable.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — he was already marked resolved and off the game-status report on the baseline, and he remains cleared with no final designation this week. He is carried here rather than dropped silently because the ankle notation still appears on the Raiders’ practice report. The meaningful CONTEXT change is external: Brock Bowers being doubtful raises Jeanty’s receiving projection for Week 2. Depth chart unchanged at RB1, roster status unchanged at ACT.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a confident RB1 in 12-team full-PPR and specifically bump your expectation this week — the Bowers absence funnels checkdown volume to him, and PPR scoring rewards exactly that. This is one of the cleanest start calls in the division. Mike Washington Jr. is a worthwhile handcuff stash for Jeanty managers in a 12-team league given how concentrated this backfield is.

De’Von Achane — MIA (RB1 — Miami’s featured back and clear workhorse, the focal point of a run game head coach Jeff Hafley has publicly committed to)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO designation and NO injury listing of any kind on Miami’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 20 game at San Francisco. He is entirely absent from the injury report for a second consecutive week.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18) and unlisted. Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He does not appear on any of Miami’s three Week 2 practice reports, which denotes full participation on every day.
  • Injury: None currently. He carries no active injury and has not been listed on a Miami injury report at any point in the 2026 regular season.
  • When it happened: Not applicable — no current injury. His widely-documented knee injury history is from prior seasons and is not active; he has no 2026 in-season injury on record.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — nothing is being recovered from. Two consecutive fully unrestricted practice weeks and a full Week 1 workload.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026, and has been since the Sept 13 opener at Las Vegas.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, FULLY HEALTHY. He starts and carries the featured workload for Miami in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the San Francisco 49ers, 4:25 PM ET on FOX. No designation, no listing, no snap restriction.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 20 at San Francisco) — full workhorse role against a stout 49ers run defense. Week 3 (Sept 27 vs Kansas City) — full role. Week 4 (Oct 4 at Minnesota) — full role. Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Cincinnati) — full role and the softest matchup of the stretch, immediately before Miami’s Week 6 bye. Hafley’s stated ‘We have to run the football’ mandate off an 0-1 start points to volume trending UP across the window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jaylen Wright (ACT, RB2) is the direct next man up and would inherit the lead role. Ollie Gordon II (ACT, RB3) would take the short-yardage and between-the-tackles work. DJ Herman (ACT, listed at FB by Ourlads) is a situational body. Jarquez Hunter (DEV) and Carlos Washington (DEV) are practice-squad elevation options.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was resolved and off the report on the Sept 12 baseline and remains resolved and off the report on the Sept 18 final report. Two clean weeks in a row, confirmed against the current report rather than assumed. Reported here rather than dropped silently, per the standing rule on cleared players.

Fantasy takeaway: Locked-in RB1 start in every 12-team full-PPR redraft lineup, every week. He is fully healthy, carries no designation, and his head coach just publicly recommitted to the run game after an 0-1 start — that is volume you want. The matchup at San Francisco is difficult on the ground but his receiving floor in full PPR insulates the downside. Start without hesitation; if a nervous manager in your league will sell him at a discount over the 49ers matchup, buy.

Aaron Jones — MIN (RB1 — now the clear lead back with Jordan Mason on injured reserve, rather than the co-lead he was in Week 1)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) Minnesota’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sept 20 game at Chicago carries no entry for Jones. He is fully healthy and unrestricted.
  • Practice this week: Full — not listed on any day of the Week 2 participation report. Full week: not listed Wed, not listed Thu, not listed Fri, which by rule means unrestricted full participation.
  • Injury: None active. Jones has a substantial career injury history including hamstring and soft-tissue issues, but nothing is currently active and he carries no 2026 regular-season designation.
  • When it happened: N/A for any current issue. He came through Week 1 against Green Bay healthy and was never on the Week 2 report.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — healthy, no active injury to recover from. The relevant background concern is age and cumulative workload: he turned 31 and is now being asked to absorb a materially larger share for at least four games.
  • Expected back to full health: Currently at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026, with no restriction.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY in Week 2 at Chicago on Sunday Sept 20, 2026 with an expanded workload. No designation. He is confirmed to lead Minnesota’s backfield with Jordan Mason on IR.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and in a lead role for Weeks 2, 3, 4 and 5 — Jordan Mason cannot return before Week 6. That is a four-game window of elevated volume. The risk is precisely that volume: a 31-year-old back with a soft-tissue history absorbing a co-lead’s vacated carries is an elevated injury-risk profile, and the workload spike ends the moment Mason is activated. Additionally, with Kyler Murray out and Carson Wentz starting in Week 2, the game script should lean run-heavy at Chicago, which is a further short-term positive.
  • Who benefits if he sits: DeeJay Dallas (RB2, ACT, promoted from the practice squad Sept 16) is the listed second back per Ourlads, though he is primarily a special-teams contributor. Demond Claiborne (RB3, ACT #21) is the more likely offensive beneficiary and is confirmed expected to be active for Week 2 with a larger role than he had in Week 1. Jerome Ford (DEV) was added to the practice squad Sept 16 as insurance and would be an elevation candidate.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED IN ROLE, not health. On the Sept 12 baseline Jones was the listed starter but split the backfield with Jordan Mason, who actually out-touched him in Week 1 (15 carries, 59 yards, 1 TD). With Mason placed on IR on Sept 16, Jones is now the outright lead back for at least four games. He remains off the injury report and fully healthy.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a confident RB2 with RB1 upside in Week 2 at Chicago — Mason is on IR, Wentz is starting which points to a run-lean script, and Jones has the backfield to himself. But this is an explicit sell-high window in 12-team full PPR: the volume spike has a hard four-game expiration when Mason returns in Week 6, and Jones is 31 with a soft-tissue history. If you can trade him into a leaguemate’s panic buy over the next two weeks, do it. Demond Claiborne is the contingency worth a bench spot.

Rhamondre Stevenson — NE (RB1 — New England’s lead back, listed first on Ourlads, and the workhorse who carried an 84.5 percent snap share in Week 1 with TreVeyon Henderson out)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO designation and NO injury listing on New England’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 20 game vs Pittsburgh. He is entirely absent from the injury report and is fully healthy.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18) and unlisted. Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He appears on none of New England’s three Week 2 practice reports, which denotes full participation on every day.
  • Injury: None currently. He carries no active injury and has not been listed on a New England injury report at any point in the 2026 regular season.
  • When it happened: Not applicable — no current injury. He played 84.5 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 game vs Seattle on Sept 9, 2026 and emerged without a listing.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — nothing is being recovered from. He has completed a full, unrestricted practice week following a near-every-down Week 1 workload.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, FULLY HEALTHY. He starts for New England in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at home vs the Pittsburgh Steelers, 1:00 PM ET on CBS. No designation, no listing, no restriction. The only change to his outlook is competitive, not medical: TreVeyon Henderson is back.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 20 vs Pittsburgh) — starts, but his snap share should fall materially from 84.5 percent now that Henderson is cleared. Week 3 (Sept 27 at Jacksonville) — starts in what is likely a settled committee. Week 4 (Oct 4 at Buffalo) — starts. Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Las Vegas) — starts, best matchup of the stretch. No health concern anywhere in the window; the risk to his fantasy value is entirely the Henderson timeshare.
  • Who benefits if he sits: TreVeyon Henderson (ACT, RB2) is the direct beneficiary and, now healthy, would step into a true lead role. Corey Kiner (ACT, RB3) would be the complementary back. Reggie Gilliam (ACT) is the fullback and Lan Larison (DEV) the practice-squad option.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW to this report as a health entry — he was not an injury listing on the Sept 12 baseline and is not one now. He is added here because the CHANGE around him is material: TreVeyon Henderson going from ruled out to fully cleared directly compresses Stevenson’s role. His health status is unchanged and clean; his fantasy outlook is meaningfully worse than on Sept 12.

Fantasy takeaway: Still a startable RB2 in a 12-team full-PPR redraft, but his arrow is pointing DOWN and you should act on it. An 84.5 percent snap share was a one-week artifact of Henderson being out; with Henderson off the injury report and practicing in full three straight days, expect Stevenson’s share to drop and the passing-down work in particular to migrate. Start him in Week 2 vs Pittsburgh, but if another manager in your league is still valuing him off that Week 1 volume, this is the week to sell. Do not buy him at a Week 1 price.

Cam Skattebo — NYG (RB1 — lead back and goal-line option, ahead of Devin Singletary.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no designation of any kind on the Giants’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Monday Sept 21 game at the Rams. He does not appear on the Week 2 injury report, exactly as he did not appear on the final Week 1 report.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report, so no participation level is filed. Full participation Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: None currently. Historical only: the dislocated right ankle with associated tibia/fibula involvement suffered in 2025, from which he is fully recovered and playing without restriction.
  • When it happened: N/A for any current injury. The 2025 ankle dislocation is the historical item; he carried no residual designation into either Week 1 or Week 2 of 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A dislocated ankle with fracture involvement is typically a 4-6 month surgical recovery with a further conditioning ramp; running backs returning from it often need a full offseason before cutting ability normalizes. Skattebo has had that offseason and has shown no in-season limitation, so the clock on this has run out.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2). He has been unrestricted through two weeks of the season.
  • Next game: ACTIVE and starting in Week 2, Monday Sept 21, 2026 at the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium (8:15 p.m. ET).
  • Next four weeks: Expected to start Weeks 2 (at LAR), 3, 4 and 5. The mild caution across this stretch is committee encroachment — Devin Singletary caught four passes including a touchdown in Week 1 and Najee Harris is being added to the rotation — rather than any health concern.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Devin Singletary (RB2) would lead the committee and is already the primary passing-down back; Najee Harris would absorb goal-line work and Tyrone Tracy Jr. the remainder.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was off the injury report then and is off it now, with no designation either week.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as an RB2 in 12-team full-PPR against the Rams. Reporting him as CLEARED rather than dropping him: no designation, no practice limitation, two straight clean weeks. Temper expectations on receiving work — Singletary is taking the passing-down role — so his value is carries and touchdowns.

Breece Hall — NYJ (RB1 — the Jets’ unquestioned workhorse back, listed first on Ourlads and the centerpiece of a run-heavy New York offense)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO designation and NO injury listing of any kind on the Jets’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 20 game vs Green Bay. The groin maintenance listing he carried a week ago is completely gone; he is entirely absent from this week’s injury report.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18) and unlisted. Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He appears on none of the Jets’ three Week 2 practice reports, which denotes full participation on every day.
  • Injury: None currently. The prior groin listing was a maintenance entry only — he never missed or was limited in a single practice, and it has now dropped off the report entirely.
  • When it happened: Not applicable to any current injury. The superseded groin maintenance listing appeared on the Jets’ Sept 9-11, 2026 Week 1 reports without ever affecting his participation, and did not recur in Week 2.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — nothing is being recovered from. A maintenance listing that never produced a limited practice and then disappears entirely the following week is the cleanest possible resolution. He played a full Week 1 workload in a 23-10 win over Tennessee and emerged with no listing at all.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026, and arguably has been all season.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, FULLY HEALTHY. He starts and carries the featured workload for the Jets in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at home vs the Green Bay Packers, 1:00 PM ET on FOX. No designation, no listing, no restriction. The Jets’ only final tags are Cooper, Fitzpatrick, Nwangwu and Ossai (all OUT) plus Will McDonald IV (QUESTIONABLE).
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 20 vs Green Bay) — full workhorse role; Green Bay’s own run defense is dinged with Warren Brinson OUT and Javon Hargrave DOUBTFUL, which is a genuine edge. Week 3 (Sept 27 at Detroit) — full role. Week 4 (Oct 4 at Chicago) — full role. Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Cleveland) — full role. No health concern anywhere in the window, and the Jets’ depleted receiver room concentrates offensive value in the backfield.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Braelon Allen (ACT, RB2) is the direct handcuff and would inherit the lead role. Isaiah Davis (ACT, RB3) is next. Kene Nwangwu (ACT, RB4) is currently OUT with a back injury. Al-Jay Henderson (DEV) is the practice-squad option and Chip Trayanum is on Reserve/Injured — so the Jets’ backfield depth behind Allen is genuinely thin.
  • Change since Week 1: IMPROVED and now fully resolved. On the Sept 12 baseline he carried a groin maintenance listing with NO game-status designation while practicing in full all three days. He is now completely off the Jets’ injury report with no listing at all. A clean upgrade from ‘listed but full’ to ‘not listed.’ Reported here as cleared rather than dropped silently, per the standing rule.

Fantasy takeaway: Locked-in RB1 start in every 12-team full-PPR redraft lineup. He is now completely clean on the injury report, and the surrounding context is a gift: the Jets’ receiver room is down to four healthy bodies (Tim Patrick on IR, Omar Cooper Jr. OUT), Green Bay’s interior run defense is banged up, and New York is a run-heavy offense. This is a strong start with league-winning upside in Week 2. Braelon Allen is a must-hold handcuff.

Saquon Barkley — PHI (RB1 — workhorse lead back and the centerpiece of the Philadelphia offense.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no designation of any kind on the Eagles’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sept 20 game at Tennessee. He does not appear on the Week 2 injury report at all, and the report’s summary explicitly states that everyone on the active roster other than Jonathan Greenard (Out) and Andrew Mukuba (Questionable) is available.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report this week, so no participation level is filed. Full participation Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: None. Healthy.
  • When it happened: N/A — no current injury. He is included here specifically because prior-season (2025) stories about a Barkley knee issue rank highly in search and read as current; this entry exists to mark him affirmatively clean for Week 2 of 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — no active injury to recover from.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: ACTIVE and starting in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium (1:00 p.m. ET).
  • Next four weeks: Expected to start and carry a workhorse load Weeks 2 (at TEN), 3, 4 and 5 with no health concern on the horizon. The Eagles also lost LG Landon Dickerson to injured reserve after Week 1, which is a mild negative for interior run blocking across this stretch — worth noting but not enough to change how you deploy him.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tank Bigsby (RB2) would lead a committee with Will Shipley (RB3), and practice-squad backs Jaydon Blue, Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele provide depth. Bigsby would be an immediate must-start if Barkley ever missed time.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — he was not on the Week 1 injury list and is not on the Week 2 list. He is new to this written report only as an explicit stale-source correction.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a top-tier RB1 in 12-team full-PPR. Reporting him as clean rather than silent because the stale-source risk on his name is unusually high right now: a widely circulating NBC Sports Philadelphia piece about Barkley being ‘upgraded to limited’ with knee soreness is from October 7, 2025 and refers to Week 6 of last season. Ignore it. He has no 2026 Week 2 designation. The only genuine roster note is Dickerson’s IR placement on the offensive line.

Christian McCaffrey — SF (RB1 — lead back and a primary receiving weapon out of the backfield)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he appears on San Francisco’s FINAL official Friday report of Sept 18, 2026 for the Sept 20 home game vs. Miami, but with NO Out/Doubtful/Questionable tag. The report codes his Wednesday absence as ‘Rest’, not as an injury.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 16 (rest) -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: None. This is a scheduled veteran rest day, coded ‘Rest’ on the official report. He was part of a group of veterans (Nick Bosa, Dre Greenlaw, Trent Williams) all given Wednesday off after the trip back from Melbourne.
  • When it happened: Not applicable — there is no injury. For context, the only physical item from Week 1 was in-game CRAMPING during the Melbourne game (heat and travel related, shared with LT Trent Williams), from which he returned and finished the game. That has fully resolved.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable. Exertional cramping resolves within 24-48 hours with rehydration and has no carryover. The Wednesday rest day is load management, which by definition carries no recovery timeline.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Friday, Sept 18, 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, full workload, no restriction. Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Miami Dolphins at Levi’s Stadium — San Francisco’s home opener.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy for Weeks 2 through 5. Expect the Wednesday rest day to become a weekly fixture; that is how San Francisco has managed him and it is not predictive of absences. The genuine risk with McCaffrey is not this week’s report, it is his cumulative injury history, and that risk does not show up on a practice sheet.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Kaelon Black (RB2, himself Questionable with a groin) and Jordan James (RB3) would split the work. Black has the larger projected share and already out-carried McCaffrey in Week 1, making him the handcuff that matters.
  • Change since Week 1: IMPROVED and effectively resolved. The Sept 12 baseline carried him as a minor post-game cramping item. The cramping is gone; the only Week 2 entry is an administrative rest day, and he has no game-status designation.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a top-5 RB in 12-team full-PPR. Ignore the Wednesday DNP entirely — it is coded ‘Rest’ and he practiced fully twice after it. Miami’s run defense is a favorable draw for the home opener. The one thing worth doing this week is making sure you own Kaelon Black or Jordan James, because McCaffrey’s handcuff carries more standalone value than most.

Kyle Juszczyk — SF (FB1 — the only fullback on the roster, lead blocker and occasional check-down target)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he appears on San Francisco’s FINAL official Friday report of Sept 18, 2026 for the Sept 20 home game vs. Miami with a finger entry, but with NO Out/Doubtful/Questionable tag filed.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Limited Wed Sept 16 -> Limited Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: Finger. The club has not specified whether it is a fracture, dislocation or sprain, and no hand surgery has been reported.
  • When it happened: Between the Week 1 Melbourne game (Sept 10) and Wednesday, Sept 16, 2026 — he first appeared on the Week 2 report as a Limited participant on Wednesday. Most likely picked up in the Melbourne game itself, since he played and finished it.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Finger injuries in non-primary-ball-handling roles are routinely played through with a splint or taping. A simple sprain or dislocation costs zero games; a fracture needing pinning costs 2-4 weeks, but a player who practices fully by Friday is not in that category.
  • Expected back to full health: Already game-ready. Full healing of a finger typically takes 4-6 weeks, but it will not affect availability — expect him to play through it from Week 2 onward.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, no restriction. Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Miami Dolphins at Levi’s Stadium.
  • Next four weeks: Available and playing Weeks 2 through 5. A finger issue on a fullback whose job is blocking is close to irrelevant to availability. The only conceivable effect is fewer targets if he is splinted, and he barely gets targets as it is.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — San Francisco carries no second fullback. If Juszczyk could not go, the 49ers would simply play more 11-personnel or use a tight end (Luke Farrell or Brayden Willis) as the lead blocker in the few snaps that call for it.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW INJURY, same non-impact. The Sept 12 baseline marked him RESOLVED after an undisclosed minor practice-report entry cleared before Week 1. He now has a NEW and different listing — a finger injury — but the outcome is the same: Full practice Friday, no designation, plays.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant in 12-team full-PPR — do not roster a fullback. Listed here only for completeness because he carried an entry on the baseline. If you are in a bizarre league that starts a fullback, he plays.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt — WAS (RB1 — the featured back, listed first on the Ourlads chart ahead of Rachaad White and Kaytron Allen, and the back Washington is pushing toward an every-down role.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no designation on Washington’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sept 20 game vs Dallas. He does not appear on the Week 2 injury report at all, an upgrade from the blank-status groin listing he carried into Week 1.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report this week, so no participation level is filed. Full participation Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18 — a clean week, versus three Limited sessions before Week 1.
  • Injury: Groin strain — now fully resolved. He returned to practice and has come off the report entirely.
  • When it happened: The groin issue arose in the Commanders’ late-August 2026 practice period and carried into the Week 1 practice week (Sept 9-11, 2026), where he was Limited all three days but played. It has since cleared.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Groin/adductor strains: Grade 1 roughly 1-2 weeks, Grade 2 roughly 3-6 weeks, Grade 3 (with tearing off the pubic bone) 8-12+ weeks and sometimes surgical. His was clearly Grade 1 — he never missed a game and has come off the report inside two weeks, which is the textbook Grade 1 arc.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2). The item is closed.
  • Next game: ACTIVE and starting, with no designation and no snap restriction, in Week 2 on Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET, FOX). Washington’s game plan this week is explicitly built around running him at Dallas.
  • Next four weeks: Expected to start Weeks 2 (vs DAL), 3, 4 and 5 with a rising workload as Washington leans into the every-down plan. Groin strains can recur under heavy volume, so a return to the injury report in the next month would not be shocking — but there is nothing to act on now.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Rachaad White (RB2, the passing-down back) would take over as the lead and is an immediate flex play, with Kaytron Allen (RB3) handling short-yardage and goal-line, and Craig Reynolds and Robert Henry Jr. on the practice squad. Jeremy McNichols is on reserve and unavailable.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED — now CLEARED. On Sept 12 he was on the Week 1 report with a groin injury, Limited Wed/Thu/Fri and a blank Game Status. For Week 2 he is off the injury report entirely with full practices and no designation. Note also a roster correction: Washington’s nfl.com roster render omitted him from its RB block on our pull, but Ourlads (updated 09/17/2026) has him as the clear RB1 and the beat confirms he is the featured back — he is ACT and playing.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as an RB2 with genuine RB1 upside in 12-team full-PPR. Reporting him as CLEARED rather than dropping him: this is a straight upgrade from Week 1’s Limited-all-week groin, and Washington is publicly pointing to him as the every-down back against Dallas. The Cowboys’ run defense and the loss of safety Malik Hooker make this a favorable spot. He is a confident start.

Jonathon Brooks — CAR (RB2 — the 1B of what was billed as a 1A/1B committee, though Week 1 usage did not support that framing)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he does not appear anywhere on Carolina’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official injury report for the Sept 20 game at Atlanta. He has been removed from the report entirely and carries no designation of any kind.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> not listed Thu Sept 17 -> not listed Fri Sept 18. A player absent from all three practice reports is practicing without restriction.
  • Injury: Groin (now resolved)
  • When it happened: Surfaced in early September 2026 during Week 1 preparation; he carried a groin listing with a blank Game Status into the Sept 14 opener vs Chicago and played in that game.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Groin/adductor strains in a running back typically cost 1-3 weeks for Grade 1 and 3-6 weeks for Grade 2, with a notable recurrence risk on cuts and lateral pushes for several weeks after return. Brooks never missed a game and has now had a completely clean practice week, which is the strongest available evidence the strain has fully settled.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 — Week 2.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY. No designation for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Atlanta Falcons.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: healthy and available. The problem is not his health, it is his workload. Week 1 was a rout in which Chuba Hubbard took 71 percent of snaps to Brooks’s 19 percent and AJ Dillon’s 10 percent. Unless Hubbard’s own hamstring history resurfaces, Brooks projects as a low-teens-snap complementary back through this stretch. He remains the single most valuable handcuff in the NFC South because of how thoroughly Hubbard dominates the touches.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Chuba Hubbard (RB1) would take on an even larger share, with AJ Dillon (RB3) as the short-yardage and closeout back and Anthony Tyus III (practice squad / DEV) as an emergency elevation.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED — upgraded to fully cleared. On the Sept 12 baseline he was listed with a groin and a BLANK Game Status on the final Week 1 report. He is now off the injury report entirely, which is a step beyond a blank status. His usage concern, however, is newly confirmed by the Week 1 snap split.

Fantasy takeaway: Bench in 12-team full-PPR but absolutely hold — he is the handcuff to a workhorse. His Week 1 line (4 carries for 14 yards plus a 48-yard reception on 13 snaps) shows real big-play ability inside a tiny role. He is a stash, not a starter, and he becomes an immediate top-20 RB the moment Hubbard’s hamstring flares. Do not start him against Atlanta.

Kyle Monangai — CHI (RB2 — complementary back behind D’Andre Swift, trending toward a larger share)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) Chicago filed its FINAL Friday report on Sept 18, 2026 for the Sept 20 game vs Minnesota with Monangai listed as a full participant and NO designation. He appeared on the participation report during the week but was cleared off the game-status column.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Limited Wed -> Limited Thu -> Full Fri. The Friday upgrade to full participation removed the designation.
  • Injury: Hamstring — the club did not specify a grade or which leg. Handled as a minor strain with midweek management.
  • When it happened: Sustained in Week 1 vs Carolina, Sunday Sept 13, 2026. He was not on the Sept 11 Week 1 final report and was a new addition to the Week 2 report on Wednesday Sept 16.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Grade 1 hamstring strains cost 1-3 weeks; Grade 2 runs 4-6 weeks. A player who is limited Wednesday and Thursday and full on Friday of the same week is at the mildest end of Grade 1 — often closer to tightness than a true strain. The caveat that always applies to hamstrings: re-injury rates are meaningfully elevated for 2-3 weeks after return even in mild cases, so this is worth tracking into Week 3 and Week 4.
  • Expected back to full health: Effectively already there, as of Friday Sept 18, 2026. Full practice on the final day of the week with no restriction carried into the game.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY in Week 2 vs Minnesota on Sunday Sept 20, 2026. Full Friday practice, no designation.
  • Next four weeks: Available for Weeks 2 through 5, with hamstring re-aggravation the standing risk across Weeks 3-4. The usage story is the more interesting one: he was trending toward a larger share before this, and both he and Swift are fully cleared, so Week 2’s carry split against Minnesota is the number that defines his Weeks 3-5 value.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Roschon Johnson (RB3, ACT #23) would absorb the complementary and short-yardage work, with D’Andre Swift (RB1) taking a heavier overall share. Salvon Ahmed (DEV, #36) is the practice-squad call-up option.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW to the injury report. On the Sept 12 baseline Monangai was explicitly listed as resolved and absent from Chicago’s Week 1 final report. The hamstring arose in the Week 1 game, put him on the Week 2 report Wednesday, and he practiced up to full by Friday with no designation.

Fantasy takeaway: A flex-and-hold in 12-team full PPR rather than a confident start for Week 2 — he is cleared, but he is still splitting a backfield with a healthy D’Andre Swift. The reason to roster him is the arrow: his share has been climbing, and he is the direct handcuff to Swift in an offense that will run. If you own Swift, you should own Monangai. If you own neither, he is a reasonable speculative add ahead of a potential role change.

Samaje Perine — CIN (RB2 — passing-down and third-down back behind Chase Brown, the primary pass-protection and check-down option)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) FINAL Friday outcome. Cincinnati carried him on the Sept 18, 2026 practice report but filed NO game-status tag for the Sept 20 road game at the Houston Texans. He is cleared to play.
  • Practice this week: DNP (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> DNP Thu Sept 17 -> DNP Fri Sept 18. He was added to the report on Thursday and did not practice either of the last two days, yet still drew no final designation — an unusual combination that signals the club is confident despite the missed work.
  • Injury: Illness (he was added to the Thursday report with the issue; some outlets initially reported it as a knee, and Cincinnati’s own listing leaned to the non-injury-related illness category by Friday)
  • When it happened: Approximately Sept 16-17, 2026. He had no Wednesday practice listing and first appeared on the Thursday Sept 17 report, placing the onset mid-week rather than in the Sept 13 Week 1 win over Tampa Bay.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Short-term illness in an NFL player typically costs 2-4 days of practice with no game missed once fever and GI symptoms resolve. The residual risk is conditioning and stamina rather than structural — players returning from a multi-day illness commonly see a reduced snap count in the first game back. If the knee component is real, a minor knee contusion or sprain runs 1-2 weeks.
  • Expected back to full health: By Week 2 kickoff, Sunday Sept 20, 2026, with the caveat that two missed practice days may mean a slightly trimmed workload. Fully back to normal conditioning by Week 3.
  • Next game: PLAYING in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Houston Texans. He was reported cleared to play on Friday Sept 18 after making enough progress, and Cincinnati filed no designation at all — which for a player who missed Thursday and Friday is a strong affirmative signal.
  • Next four weeks: Available Weeks 2-5 with no expected absences. His role is stable and matchup-independent: he is the passing-down back and short-yardage change-up. The one thing to watch across this window is Tahj Brooks, who would have started eating into Perine’s work had this absence lasted, and who remains a threat to the role if Perine’s efficiency slips.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tahj Brooks (RB3) is next in line and was explicitly identified as the man up if Perine could not go. Chase Brown (RB1) would also absorb additional passing-down snaps, which would push him toward a true three-down workload.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW TO THIS REPORT. He was not on the Sept 12 baseline injury list. The ailment surfaced mid-week on the Thursday Sept 17, 2026 report.

Fantasy takeaway: A low-end FLEX/bench back in 12-team full PPR — playable in a pinch because of the passing-down role, but the two missed practices raise the odds of a reduced snap count at Houston. Do not start him over a healthy alternative in Week 2. The more actionable note: this scare confirms Chase Brown’s path to a genuine three-down role if Perine ever misses a game, which is a reason to hold Brown, not to chase Perine.

Emari Demercado — DAL (RB2 — the Javonte Williams handcuff and the passing-down back. Promoted from RB3 by the Malik Davis IR placement.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he does not appear on the Cowboys’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official game-status report for the Sept 20 game vs Washington. Healthy and unrestricted.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report this week, so no participation level is filed. Full participation Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: None. Healthy.
  • When it happened: N/A — no current injury. He is tracked here because he is the direct beneficiary of the Malik Davis hip injury of Sept 11, 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — no active injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: ACTIVE for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 vs the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET), in the RB2 role behind Javonte Williams.
  • Next four weeks: Active and in the RB2/passing-down role for Weeks 2 (vs WAS), 3, 4 and 5. The only thing that raises his weekly ceiling is a Javonte Williams absence, which would make him an immediate low-end RB2 in full PPR.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tyler Goodson (RB3, signed off the Atlanta practice squad the week of Sept 14) would move up to the No. 2 job, with Hunter Luepke (FB) absorbing short-yardage.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED. On Sept 12 he was RB3 behind a merely week-to-week Malik Davis. Davis’s season-ending IR has made Demercado the outright RB2 and the sole meaningful handcuff, which is a real promotion in role, not just on paper.

Fantasy takeaway: This is the actionable Dallas claim of the week. In a 12-team full-PPR redraft he is a bench stash and the single most valuable handcuff in this division right now, because Dallas has no other proven back. He is not startable in Week 2 behind a healthy Williams — leave him on your bench — but if you have a Williams share, bid to get him. Low-single-digit FAAB is fair.

Woody Marks — HOU (RB2 — change-of-pace and passing-down back behind David Montgomery)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) final Friday outcome: he does not appear anywhere on Houston’s official Sept 18, 2026 injury report for the Sept 20 game vs Cincinnati. Healthy and available.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He was not listed on the Texans’ Week 2 practice report on any day.
  • Injury: None active. The shoulder injury attached to his name in search results is from the January 18, 2026 playoff loss at New England — the prior season — and is fully resolved.
  • When it happened: Not applicable for 2026 Week 2. The stale shoulder injury dates to Jan 18, 2026 (2025-season playoffs), in a game he returned to after being initially deemed questionable.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — no active injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: PLAYING, unrestricted. Active Sunday Sept 20 vs the Cincinnati Bengals (1:00 PM ET, Houston) in his normal RB2 role.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: stable RB2 workload. With Nico Collins out, Houston is likelier to lean on the run game and on checkdowns, which modestly raises Marks’ passing-down usage in Week 2. No injury risk flag.
  • Who benefits if he sits: David Montgomery would absorb early-down work and British Brooks (carried at FB) would handle short-yardage; practice-squad backs Jawhar Jordan and Noah Whittington are the emergency elevations.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 in terms of health — he was not on the baseline injury list and is not on the Week 2 report. He is included here only to explicitly rule out the widely-circulating stale shoulder story.

Fantasy takeaway: Flex-level in deeper 12-team full-PPR formats only, with a small bump this week — Collins’ absence pushes target volume toward the back and tight end. Do not spend real waiver capital; he is a bench stash behind Montgomery with contingent value.

Keaton Mitchell — LAC (RB2 — change-of-pace and passing-down back behind Omarion Hampton, ahead of Kimani Vidal)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (b) no injury designation of any kind. He does not appear on the Chargers’ Week 2 injury report for Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 or Fri Sept 18, and received no final Friday game-status tag for the Sept 20 game vs. Las Vegas.
  • Practice this week: Full — unlisted all three days. Full week: not on the report Wed Sept 16 -> not on the report Thu Sept 17 -> not on the report Fri Sept 18. A player absent from the practice report is by definition a full, unrestricted participant.
  • Injury: None currently. The hamstring issue that had him on the Week 1 practice report is fully resolved and he is off the report entirely.
  • When it happened: Not applicable for Week 2 — there is no active injury. The prior hamstring issue had him limited during Week 1 preparation but produced no final game-status designation on the Chargers’ Friday Sept 11, 2026 report, and it has since cleared completely.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — no active injury. For context on the resolved hamstring: Grade 1 strains run 1-2 weeks, which matches the timeline of his clean resolution between Week 1 and Week 2. The standing caution with any player who has had a hamstring strain is the roughly one-in-three same-season recurrence rate.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2). No pending milestone; he is off the report.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 vs. the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium (1:05 p.m. PT). No designation and no restriction.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: healthy and available in a complementary RB2 role behind Omarion Hampton. His fantasy value is almost entirely contingent — he is the direct handcuff to a lead back who is himself fully healthy. Watch for a passing-down usage bump in weeks where the Chargers trail, which after an 0-1 start is a live possibility.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Kimani Vidal (RB3) would take the complementary snaps behind Omarion Hampton. Amar Johnson and Gregory Desrosiers are practice-squad elevation candidates. The meaningful beneficiary would be Omarion Hampton, who would approach a bellcow workload.
  • Change since Week 1: IMPROVED / NOW CLEARED. The Sept 12 baseline carried him with a hamstring marked resolved and a Limited practice note. He is now entirely absent from the Week 2 injury report — a clean resolution, reported here rather than dropped silently. Depth chart unchanged at RB2, roster status unchanged at ACT.

Fantasy takeaway: A bench stash in 12-team full-PPR, not a starter. He is the correct handcuff for Omarion Hampton managers given his explosive-play profile and pass-catching role, and his clean health resolution makes that stash safe again. Not worth FAAB for anyone who does not roster Hampton. Omarion Hampton remains an unambiguous RB1/RB2 start with no injury concerns of his own — he is entirely absent from the Chargers’ Week 2 report.

TreVeyon Henderson — NE (RB2 — the explosive complement to Rhamondre Stevenson and New England’s passing-down and big-play back, listed second on Ourlads behind Stevenson)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he is entirely OFF New England’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 20 game vs Pittsburgh. He carries no Out/Doubtful/Questionable tag, and the Patriots’ only final tags are Dametrious Crownover (OUT, knee) and Carlton Davis III, Dre’Mont Jones and Ben Brown (all QUESTIONABLE). He is cleared and expected to play.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. Three consecutive full practices, a complete reversal from Week 1 when he did not participate on any day. He himself has publicly stated he will play against the Steelers.
  • Injury: Ankle sprain (New England has not specified high vs low). The full-participation progression and the roughly 10-day absence strongly imply a low ankle sprain rather than a syndesmotic one.
  • When it happened: Late in the 2026 preseason / Week 1 practice week — he was a DNP for New England’s entire Week 1 practice week and was ruled OUT for the Wednesday Sept 9, 2026 game vs Seattle, a 13-10 New England loss. The club has not tied it to a specific snap, which is consistent with a practice injury in early September 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Low (lateral/inversion) ankle sprains are graded I-III. Grade I is 1-2 weeks, grade II is 2-4 weeks, grade III is 4-8 weeks. Henderson missed exactly one game and returned to three straight full practices about 10 days after being ruled out, which is a clean grade I to low grade II presentation. For a running back whose game is built on burst and lateral cuts, the practical concern after clearance is less about re-injury than about a possible snap-count ramp in the first game back — though full participation all three days argues against any meaningful limitation.
  • Expected back to full health: Already effectively there — Friday Sept 18, 2026. Three full practices is the strongest possible signal. Expect fully unrestricted usage by Week 3 (Sept 27 at Jacksonville) at the latest, if New England eases him in at all on Sunday.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY. He is active and expected to take a meaningful role for New England in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at home vs the Pittsburgh Steelers, 1:00 PM ET on CBS. He is off the injury report entirely, practiced in full all three days, and has said publicly he will play. The only open question is snap share in his first game back, not availability.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 20 vs Pittsburgh) — plays, likely in a committee with Rhamondre Stevenson and possibly on a soft ramp in his season debut. Week 3 (Sept 27 at Jacksonville) — fully unrestricted, expect his share to grow. Week 4 (Oct 4 at Buffalo) — full role in a division game. Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Las Vegas) — full role and an appealing matchup. The trend across the window is clearly upward: Stevenson played 84.5 percent of snaps in Week 1 with Henderson out, and that number has to come down now, with the passing-down work the most likely piece to shift.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Rhamondre Stevenson (ACT, RB1) is the primary beneficiary and would revert to the near-every-down role he had in Week 1. Corey Kiner (ACT, RB3) is the next man up. Reggie Gilliam (ACT) is the fullback. Lan Larison (DEV) is the practice-squad elevation option, and Myles Montgomery is on Reserve/Injured. This is now a hypothetical — Henderson is cleared.
  • Change since Week 1: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT — the single biggest positive change in the division. On the Sept 12 baseline he was ‘OUT for Week 1’ with a DNP on every practice day of the Week 1 week. He has now gone Full -> Full -> Full (Wed/Thu/Fri), is completely off the Friday Sept 18 final injury report, carries no game-status designation, and has said he will play. He goes from ruled out to cleared in one week.

Fantasy takeaway: The most important CLEARED story in this division. In a 12-team full-PPR redraft he moves from an unstartable injured stash to a flex-worthy RB3 with genuine weekly upside, and his full-PPR profile is strong because the passing-down role is the exact piece Stevenson is most likely to cede. If he is somehow still on waivers in your league, add him immediately — this is the highest-priority claim in the AFC East. Start him as a flex in Week 2 only if you are thin; the safer play is to start him from Week 3 at Jacksonville onward once the snap share is confirmed. Conversely, this is a real downgrade for Rhamondre Stevenson, who is no longer an 84-percent-snap workhorse — sell Stevenson if a manager in your league still prices him off his Week 1 volume.

Alvin Kamara — NO (RB2 — passing-down and committee back behind Travis Etienne, who took 59 percent of offensive snaps in Week 1)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he appears on New Orleans’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official report with a BLANK Game Status column after full participation on all three days, and reporting describes him as off the injury report entirely. Stating this plainly: blank means no designation and he is cleared to play at the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Sept 20.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. Three consecutive full practices is the cleanest possible signal and is the direct answer to last week’s open thread.
  • Injury: MCL sprain (listed on the official report simply as ‘Knee’) — now healed
  • When it happened: Sustained in the 2026 preseason / early September 2026. It cost him the Sept 13 Week 1 opener at Detroit, where he was among the inactives despite carrying a Questionable tag into that game.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Isolated MCL sprains: Grade 1 typically 1-2 weeks, Grade 2 typically 3-6 weeks, Grade 3 (complete tear) 6-plus weeks and occasionally surgical. Kamara’s roughly two-to-three-week absence puts this squarely in the Grade 1 to low Grade 2 band. MCL injuries, unlike ACL injuries, generally heal without surgery and without lingering instability, and re-injury risk after a full practice week is low. The residual risk here is not the knee — it is a 31-year-old back in his first game action of the season.
  • Expected back to full health: Structurally healthy now, Week 2 (Sept 20, 2026). Workload-wise, expect New Orleans to need two to three games before he is at an unrestricted snap count — full workload realistically by Week 4, early October 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, in a limited and specifically defined role. No designation for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Baltimore Ravens. Head coach Kellen Moore said ‘Alvin is going to play a really valuable role this week’ while declining to specify a snap count, and reporting places him in a third-down / passing-down role behind Travis Etienne.
  • Next four weeks: Week 2 (at Baltimore): season debut, capped snaps, likely a receiving-heavy usage pattern against a strong Baltimore front that will not yield much on the ground. Week 3: expect a step up in snaps if the knee responds. Weeks 4-5: this is where he should approach a normal committee split, and where his PPR floor becomes reliable again. The ceiling case is that Etienne struggles and New Orleans reverts to Kamara as the lead back; the floor case is that Etienne holds the job and Kamara settles as a 30-40 percent snap passing-down specialist all year.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Not applicable — he is the backup. If he were unavailable, Travis Etienne (RB1) would carry an even heavier load, with Kendre Miller (RB3) and newly promoted CJ Donaldson (RB4, signed to the active roster Sept 18, 2026) as the depth behind him.
  • Change since Week 1: MAJOR CHANGE and a resolution of last week’s open thread. On the Sept 12 baseline he was QUESTIONABLE after a full Friday practice. The answer to ‘did he play’ is NO — he was on the Week 1 inactive list at Detroit and did not take a snap. For Week 2 he has upgraded all the way to no designation after three full practices and will make his 2026 season debut. The new and important wrinkle is role: Travis Etienne handled 59 percent of Week 1 snaps and remains the lead back, so Kamara returns as a complementary piece rather than reclaiming a bell-cow job.

Fantasy takeaway: Flex-only in Week 2 in 12-team full-PPR — start him only if your alternatives are genuinely bad. The role is real (passing downs in a full-PPR format is a friendly assignment) but the snap cap and the Baltimore matchup make this a low-ceiling week. The correct posture is hold and be patient: his value should climb meaningfully by Weeks 4-5 as the knee restriction lifts. Do not sell him at the bottom on the back of a quiet Week 2 line; equally, do not pay up for him if you are the one buying, because Travis Etienne is genuinely the lead back here.

Tyjae Spears — TEN (RB2 — change-of-pace and passing-down back behind Tony Pollard)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) final Friday outcome: he does not appear anywhere on Tennessee’s official Sept 18, 2026 injury report for the Sept 20 game vs Philadelphia. The Titans listed only three players, all defensive. Fully available.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. Not listed on the Titans’ Week 2 practice report on any day.
  • Injury: None active. IMPORTANT: search engines rank a ‘Spears leaves Jets game with ankle injury’ story highly. That story is dated September 15, 2024, from the Brian Callahan era, and is not current — Tennessee’s head coach in 2026 is Robert Saleh. Spears has no 2026 ankle injury.
  • When it happened: Not applicable for 2026 Week 2. The stale ankle story dates to Sept 15, 2024. He played the Sept 13, 2026 Week 1 loss to the New York Jets without incident.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — no active injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: PLAYING, unrestricted. Active Sunday Sept 20 vs the Philadelphia Eagles (1:00 PM ET, Nissan Stadium) in his normal RB2 role.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: stable RB2 usage with passing-down work. Week 2 vs Philadelphia is a brutal run matchup against one of the league’s best fronts, which pushes Tennessee toward negative game script — historically that has actually increased Spears’ receiving snaps. He is the direct handcuff to Tony Pollard.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Julius Chestnut (RB3) and Nicholas Singleton (RB4) are next up, with practice-squad backs Kalel Mullings and Michael Carter as elevation candidates. Tony Pollard would absorb the early-down work.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — he was not on the baseline injury list and is not on the Week 2 report. He is included here specifically to rule out the widely-circulating 2024 ankle story, which reads as current in search results.

Fantasy takeaway: Bench stash and Pollard handcuff in 12-team full PPR — not a Week 2 start against Philadelphia. His PPR value is real if Tennessee trails, which they likely will, so he is a viable deep-league flex dart. The key point for managers: ignore the ankle stories in your feed, they are two years old.

Rachaad White — WAS (RB2 — the passing-down and change-of-pace back behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no designation of any kind on Washington’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sept 20 game vs Dallas. He does not appear on the Week 2 injury report, exactly as he did not appear on the final Week 1 report.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report, so no participation level is filed. Full participation Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: None. Healthy.
  • When it happened: N/A — no current injury. He is carried forward from last week’s list, where he was already marked resolved, and he remains the direct handcuff to a lead back who had a groin issue as recently as Week 1.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — no active injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: ACTIVE for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET), in the RB2 and passing-down role.
  • Next four weeks: Available Weeks 2 (vs DAL), 3, 4 and 5. His floor comes from receiving work in a Jayden Daniels offense; his ceiling arrives only if Jacory Croskey-Merritt’s groin recurs, in which case he becomes a weekly RB2.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Kaytron Allen (RB3) would absorb the complementary carries behind Croskey-Merritt, with Craig Reynolds and Robert Henry Jr. on the practice squad. Jeremy McNichols remains unavailable on the reserve list.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was off the injury report then and is off it now, with no designation either week.

Fantasy takeaway: A flex-worthy PPR piece in 12-team full-PPR and the best handcuff in the Washington backfield. Reporting him as clear rather than dropping him silently. Because he catches passes, he has standalone value even in a committee — unlike most handcuffs. If you roster Croskey-Merritt, you should strongly prefer White over Kaytron Allen as the contingency, since the pass-catching role transfers cleanly to a lead-back workload.

Tyler Goodson — DAL (RB3 — depth/change-of-pace back, new to the 53-man roster this week.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he does not appear on the Cowboys’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official game-status report for the Sept 20 game vs Washington. He is healthy; he was simply not on the roster a week ago.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report. He practiced fully Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18 as he learns the offense after signing.
  • Injury: None. Healthy.
  • When it happened: N/A — no injury. He is on this report as a roster-move consequence of the Malik Davis hip injury (Sept 11, 2026), not as an injured player.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — no active injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: ACTIVE, or at minimum on the 53 and available, for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20 vs the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET). Expect a very small snap count in his first week in the building.
  • Next four weeks: Roster depth through Weeks 2-5. His role only grows if Javonte Williams or Emari Demercado misses time; otherwise he is a special-teams and mop-up back.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Hunter Luepke (FB) and any practice-squad elevation. Dallas carries no other halfback on the 53.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW TO THIS REPORT. He was not on the Dallas roster on Sept 12; the Cowboys signed him off the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad to the 53-man roster the week of Sept 14-15, 2026, to replace Malik Davis, waiving Israel Abanikanda in the corresponding move.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Watch-list only. He matters to you solely as the third domino — if both Williams and Demercado went down he would have standalone value, but that is a two-injury scenario, not a Week 2 bet.

British Brooks — HOU (FB/RB3 — Ourlads carries him at fullback, not tailback; short-yardage and special-teams role)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) final Friday outcome: fully cleared, no injury and no game-status tag on Houston’s official Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sept 20 game vs Cincinnati.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. Not listed on the Texans’ Week 2 practice report at any point.
  • Injury: None active — the prior issue carried on the Sept 12 baseline is fully resolved.
  • When it happened: Not applicable. The prior issue cleared before the Sept 13 Week 1 game at Buffalo.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — no active injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2).
  • Next game: PLAYING, unrestricted. Active Sunday Sept 20 vs the Cincinnati Bengals (1:00 PM ET, Houston) in a fullback/short-yardage and special-teams role.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: negligible offensive touches. His role is blocking and special teams. No projected change.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jawhar Jordan and Noah Whittington on the practice squad; Houston would more likely just play more 11-personnel than replace the fullback snap.
  • Change since Week 1: CORRECTION vs the Sept 12 baseline, health unchanged. The baseline listed him as ‘RB3/FB’ third on the running back depth chart; the current Ourlads chart carries him at FB as a separate position, not in the tailback rotation. His health status is unchanged (resolved, off the report).

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full PPR. He is a fullback in the Ourlads alignment with no meaningful touch projection. Ignore.

LeQuint Allen Jr. — JAX (RB3 — third-down and passing-down back behind co-starters Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) final Friday game-status outcome: he appeared on Jacksonville’s official Sept 18, 2026 report as a limited participant but the Jaguars filed NO game-status tag for the Sept 20 game at Denver. This is an UPGRADE from Week 1, when he carried a Questionable designation.
  • Practice this week: Limited (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Limited Wed Sept 16 -> Limited Thu Sept 17 -> Limited Fri Sept 18. He was limited in all three sessions but, unlike Week 1, was not held out of any of them — there was no DNP this week.
  • Injury: Hip — a soft-tissue lower-body injury, listed as ‘Hip’ on the official report
  • When it happened: Pre-Week 1. It first appeared on the Sept 9-11, 2026 practice reports (DNP Wednesday, Limited Thursday, Limited Friday) and produced a Questionable tag for the Sept 13 opener vs Cleveland.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Hip flexor / hip pointer strain: Grade 1 is 1-3 weeks, Grade 2 is 3-6 weeks. Hip pointers (iliac crest contusion) are typically 1-3 weeks and are highly pain-dependent. His trajectory from a Week 1 DNP to three limited sessions in Week 2 indicates steady improvement in the Grade 1 band.
  • Expected back to full health: Week 3 to Week 4 (late September into early October 2026). He has improved week over week and should be off the report entirely within two weeks.
  • Next game: PLAYING, with an EXPANDED role. He will play Sunday Sept 20 at the Denver Broncos (4:05 PM ET, Empower Field). Head coach Liam Coen stated he ‘fully anticipates’ Allen having a larger role this week.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: this is the most interesting ascending-usage story in the Jacksonville backfield. Coen’s explicit comment about a larger role, combined with the hip improving, points to Allen carving out the passing-down job. Watch the Week 2 snap count at Denver closely — if he clears 35% of snaps with 4+ targets, he becomes a real PPR asset for Weeks 3-5.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Ameer Abdullah (RB4) is the veteran passing-down alternative; Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. would absorb the early-down and goal-line work as they already do. Practice-squad back J’Mari Taylor is the emergency depth.
  • Change since Week 1: IMPROVED since Sept 12. The baseline had him QUESTIONABLE with a DNP Wednesday / Limited Thursday / Limited Friday week. This week he upgraded to limited all three days with NO game-status designation, and Coen added that he ‘fully anticipates’ a larger role. Both the health and the usage arrows point up.

Fantasy takeaway: Priority speculative add in 12-team full PPR. This is the highest-leverage waiver move in the division this week that nobody is talking about: the head coach publicly promised a larger role, he upgraded from Questionable to untagged, and Jacksonville’s backfield is a true committee with no entrenched bell cow. Add him as a bench stash now and be ready to flex him in Week 3 if the Week 2 snaps confirm it. Do not start him at Denver yet.

Ollie Gordon II — MIA (RB3 — third back behind De’Von Achane and Jaylen Wright, short-yardage and power-run change-up)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO designation and NO injury listing of any kind on Miami’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 20 game at San Francisco. He is entirely absent from the injury report.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18) and unlisted. Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He does not appear on any of Miami’s Week 2 practice reports, which denotes full participation.
  • Injury: None currently. He carries no active injury and has not been listed on a Miami injury report in the 2026 regular season.
  • When it happened: Not applicable — no current injury. The last tracked issue predates the 2026 regular season and resolved before the Sept 13 opener at Las Vegas.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — nothing is being recovered from. Two consecutive unrestricted practice weeks.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY (rotational), FULLY HEALTHY. He is active and unrestricted for Miami in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the San Francisco 49ers, 4:25 PM ET. No designation, no listing.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 20 at San Francisco) — rotational/short-yardage snaps. Week 3 (Sept 27 vs Kansas City), Week 4 (Oct 4 at Minnesota) and Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Cincinnati) — same limited role, then Miami’s Week 6 bye. Hafley’s run-game recommitment could modestly expand the early-down and goal-line rotation, which is the one path to him mattering. No health concern in the window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: DJ Herman (ACT) is the next active body, with Jarquez Hunter (DEV) and Carlos Washington (DEV) as practice-squad elevation options. De’Von Achane (ACT, RB1) and Jaylen Wright (ACT, RB2) sit ahead of him and would absorb the carries.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was resolved and off the report on the Sept 12 baseline and remains resolved and off the report on the Sept 18 final report. Confirmed against the current report. Reported here rather than dropped silently, per the standing rule on cleared players.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a standard 12-team full-PPR redraft — he is the RB3 and would need two injuries ahead of him to matter. He has modest deep-league appeal ONLY as a goal-line vulture if Hafley’s run-first mandate produces a defined short-yardage role. The correct Achane handcuff is Jaylen Wright, not Gordon. Leave on the wire.

Kendre Miller — NO (RB3 — the change-of-pace back behind Travis Etienne and Alvin Kamara, and he scored a touchdown in Week 1)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he does not appear anywhere on New Orleans’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official injury report for the Sept 20 game at Baltimore, the second consecutive week he has been fully off the report.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 18). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> not listed Thu Sept 17 -> not listed Fri Sept 18. Practicing without restriction for a second straight week.
  • Injury: Minor practice injury from early September 2026 (resolved before Week 1)
  • When it happened: Early September 2026, during 2026 training camp / Week 1 preparation. It was reported at the time as minor and it never produced a game-status designation.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not meaningfully applicable — the issue never reached a designation and never cost him a game. Two consecutive clean practice weeks is conclusive evidence there is nothing left to track.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy — he has been since before the Sept 13 opener at Detroit.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY. No designation for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at the Baltimore Ravens.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: healthy and available. His usage is the story, not his health — with Audric Estime on IR and Alvin Kamara on a Week 2 snap restriction in his season debut, Miller has a genuine near-term opportunity for early-down and rotational carries behind Travis Etienne. That window narrows in Weeks 4-5 as Kamara’s restriction lifts.
  • Who benefits if he sits: CJ Donaldson (RB4, promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Sept 18, 2026) would be the next man up, with Zamir White on the practice squad as further depth.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12 — he was already off the report on the baseline and remains off it. What is new is opportunity: Estime’s move to Injured Reserve permanently removes a body ahead of him, and Kamara’s restricted return leaves early-down work available in Week 2.

Fantasy takeaway: Bench in 12-team full-PPR but a defensible deep speculative add this week. He found the end zone in Week 1, Audric Estime is on IR, and Kamara is capped in his debut — that is a real if narrow opening for touches at Baltimore. He is not a start, but he is the kind of RB3 you want on your bench when a backfield is this fluid.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. — NYG (RB3 — demoted this week. He is now behind Cam Skattebo (RB1) and Devin Singletary (RB2) on the Ourlads chart, with Najee Harris (RB4) pushing him.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no designation on the Giants’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Monday Sept 21 game at the Rams. He never appeared on the official report at all this week despite an early-week illness, which the club confirmed by leaving him off Thursday’s list.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report, so no participation level is filed. He had what head coach John Harbaugh called a ‘bad flu’ early in the week but was back and off the report by Thursday Sept 17, and remained off it Friday Sept 18.
  • Injury: Illness (influenza-type). Not an orthopedic injury and now resolved.
  • When it happened: Early in the Week 2 practice week — Monday/Tuesday Sept 14-15, 2026. Harbaugh disclosed it midweek and said he expected Tracy back by Thursday, which happened.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Influenza-type illness in an NFL player is typically a 2-5 day absence, with the main risks being dehydration and a temporary drop in conditioning rather than any lasting limitation. A player who is back to full practice within the same week carries no residual game-day risk.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Thursday Sept 17, 2026 (Week 2). No lingering effect.
  • Next game: ACTIVE and available for Week 2, Monday Sept 21, 2026 at the Los Angeles Rams (8:15 p.m. ET). His playing time, not his health, is the question — he is the third back.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available Weeks 2 (at LAR), 3, 4 and 5, but with a shrinking role. The Week 1 fumble cost him snaps and Najee Harris is being worked into the rotation behind Skattebo and Singletary. Expect single-digit touches unless someone ahead of him gets hurt.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Najee Harris (RB4) would take the third-back snaps directly; Devin Singletary and Cam Skattebo already handle the bulk of the work.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED on two fronts. Health: he was already ‘Resolved / not on the report’ on Sept 12, then picked up a new flu bug early in Week 2 prep and has cleared it — so he is CLEARED again. Role: he has dropped from RB2 to RB3 on the depth chart after his Week 1 fumble, which is a genuine change versus the baseline.

Fantasy takeaway: Droppable in most 12-team full-PPR redraft leagues. Reporting him as CLEARED rather than dropping him silently: the illness is over, but the depth-chart news is worse than the health news. He fumbled on one of two carries in Week 1, got benched for it, and has fallen to RB3 with Najee Harris getting a look. If you are holding him for upside, the upside has moved to Singletary and Harris.

Isaiah Davis — NYJ (RB3 — third back behind Breece Hall and Braelon Allen, and with Kene Nwangwu OUT, a likely candidate to absorb kick-return duties)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO designation and NO injury listing on the Jets’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 20 game vs Green Bay. The knee maintenance listing from a week ago is gone; he is entirely absent from the injury report.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18) and unlisted. Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He appears on none of the Jets’ three Week 2 practice reports, which denotes full participation throughout.
  • Injury: None currently. The prior knee listing was a maintenance entry only — he never missed or was limited in a practice, and it has dropped off the report entirely.
  • When it happened: Not applicable to any current injury. The superseded knee maintenance listing appeared on the Jets’ Sept 9-11, 2026 Week 1 reports without ever affecting his participation, and did not recur in Week 2.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — nothing is being recovered from. A maintenance listing with zero limited practices that then disappears the following week is a complete resolution.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY (rotational), FULLY HEALTHY. He is active and unrestricted for the Jets in Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 at home vs the Green Bay Packers, 1:00 PM ET. No designation, no listing.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5. Week 2 (Sept 20 vs Green Bay) — rotational offensive snaps plus a likely bump in special-teams and return work with Kene Nwangwu OUT. Week 3 (Sept 27 at Detroit), Week 4 (Oct 4 at Chicago) and Week 5 (Oct 11 vs Cleveland) — same role. No health concern in the window. His snap ceiling is capped by Breece Hall and Braelon Allen being healthy ahead of him.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Al-Jay Henderson (DEV) would be the practice-squad elevation. Braelon Allen (ACT, RB2) and Breece Hall (ACT, RB1) sit ahead of him and would absorb the carries. Kene Nwangwu (ACT, RB4) is currently OUT with a back injury, so New York’s backfield depth is already stretched.
  • Change since Week 1: IMPROVED and now fully resolved. On the Sept 12 baseline he carried a knee maintenance listing with NO game-status designation while practicing full all three days. He is now completely off the Jets’ injury report. Reported here as cleared rather than dropped silently, per the standing rule.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a standard 12-team full-PPR redraft — he is the RB3 and would need two injuries ahead of him to see real volume. He is a deep-league stash only. The correct Breece Hall handcuff is Braelon Allen, not Davis. Leave him on the wire, but note that with Nwangwu out and Trayanum on IR, the Jets’ backfield is only three deep, which makes Davis one injury away from relevance rather than two.

Emanuel Wilson — SEA (RB3 — limited red-zone and rotational snaps behind Jadarian Price and George Holani)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO entry at all on Seattle’s FINAL official Friday report of Sept 18, 2026 for the Sept 20 game at Arizona. He remains fully off the injury report.
  • Practice this week: Full participant and not listed on the report at any point this week. Full week: not listed Wed Sept 16 -> not listed Thu Sept 17 -> not listed Fri Sept 18.
  • Injury: None. The undisclosed minor issue that produced a Week 1 practice-report entry cleared before the opener and has not recurred.
  • When it happened: Not applicable — no active injury. The prior item was an early-September practice-report entry that resolved before Week 1, in which he was active and played.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — there is no current injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Friday, Sept 18, 2026.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY, no designation, in his normal rotational role. Sunday, Sept 20, 2026 vs. the Arizona Cardinals, in Arizona.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available Weeks 2 through 5. His path to volume is blocked in front and behind: Jadarian Price has the early-down job, George Holani owns third down and goal line, and Zach Charbonnet becomes eligible off PUP in Week 5. Expect his snap share to shrink, not grow, over this stretch.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is healthy. For completeness, Jacardia Wright is the practice-squad running back who would be elevated if Seattle needed a fourth body.
  • Change since Week 1: No change since Sept 12. He was marked RESOLVED on the baseline and remains completely off the injury report with no designation.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full-PPR. He is the RB3 in a three-way committee that is about to become a four-way one when Zach Charbonnet comes off PUP in Week 5. If you are speculating on this backfield at all, the names are Jadarian Price now and Charbonnet for the stretch run.

Sean Tucker — TB (RB3 behind Bucky Irving and Kenny Gainwell)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he does not appear on Tampa Bay’s FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 official report for the Sept 20 game vs Cleveland. He was on the practice report Wednesday and Thursday as a full participant and was removed entirely by Friday, carrying no designation of any kind.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> not listed Fri Sept 18. Two full practices followed by removal from the report is the cleanest possible clearance pattern.
  • Injury: Hamstring strain (now resolved)
  • When it happened: Early September 2026 during Week 1 preparation — he was a DNP on Tampa Bay’s Sept 9 practice report, upgraded to Limited on Sept 10, and carried a FINAL Friday DOUBTFUL tag into the Week 1 game vs Cincinnati.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Hamstring strains: Grade 1 typically 1-3 weeks, Grade 2 typically 3-6 weeks. A roughly one-week absence followed by two full practices puts this firmly in the Grade 1 band. Recurrence risk stays modestly elevated for about 4-6 weeks, which for an RB3 is largely academic given his limited snap exposure.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now — Friday Sept 18, 2026, Week 2.
  • Next game: WILL PLAY. No designation for Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the Cleveland Browns at Raymond James Stadium.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 2-5: available throughout barring re-aggravation. His role is the ceiling, not his health — Bucky Irving is the clear lead back and Kenny Gainwell is the established RB2 and passing-down option. Tucker projects as a handful of snaps per week plus special teams unless one of the two ahead of him goes down.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Josh Williams (RB4) is the only other running back on Tampa Bay’s active roster and would be the emergency option. Bucky Irving (RB1) and Kenny Gainwell (RB2) hold effectively all the meaningful work.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED — upgraded from DOUBTFUL to fully cleared. On the Sept 12 baseline he was Limited on Friday with a FINAL Friday DOUBTFUL designation. He practiced in full Wednesday and Thursday of Week 2 and is off the final report entirely.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full-PPR. Cleared and healthy, but he is the third back in a room where the top two are firmly established. Report him as cleared and move on. The one scenario worth noting: Tampa Bay’s running back room is only four deep, so if Irving misses time, Gainwell becomes an immediate RB2 and Tucker becomes a real flex option.

Kaytron Allen — WAS (RB3 — the short-yardage and goal-line back behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Rachaad White.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he appears on Washington’s Week 2 report with a BLANK Game Status column and full practice participation, and is not among the three players carrying a final Friday Sept 18, 2026 designation for the Sept 20 game vs Dallas. Stating this explicitly: a blank Game Status means available without restriction.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 18). Full week: Full Wed Sept 16 -> Full Thu Sept 17 -> Full Fri Sept 18. He was listed with an injury but never practiced at less than full capacity on any day.
  • Injury: Ankle/knee — a dual minor listing, evidently precautionary given three consecutive full practices.
  • When it happened: Listed at the open of the Week 2 practice week on Wednesday Sept 16, 2026, most plausibly accumulated general soreness from the Week 1 game at Philadelphia on Sept 13, 2026. No discrete incident has been reported.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A low-grade ankle sprain costs an NFL running back roughly 1-2 weeks at Grade 1 and 3-6 weeks at Grade 2; a minor knee contusion or sprain without ligament involvement is typically under a week. A player carrying both listings who practices fully three straight days has neither at a meaningful grade — this is maintenance, not injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Friday Sept 18, 2026 (Week 2). No meaningful recovery is outstanding.
  • Next game: ACTIVE with no restriction for Week 2, Sunday Sept 20, 2026 vs the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium (4:25 p.m. ET, FOX), in his short-yardage and goal-line role.
  • Next four weeks: Expected available Weeks 2 (vs DAL), 3, 4 and 5. His value rides entirely on goal-line touchdown equity in a backfield led by Croskey-Merritt, not on health.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Rachaad White (RB2) would absorb the short-yardage work alongside Jacory Croskey-Merritt, with Craig Reynolds and Robert Henry Jr. available off the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 1: NEW TO THIS REPORT. He was not on the Sept 12 Week 1 injury list. The ankle/knee listing is new this week but is the mildest possible version — three full practices and no designation.

Fantasy takeaway: A touchdown-dependent deep-league stash only; not a Week 2 start in 12-team full-PPR. The injury listing is noise — he practiced fully all week and will play. He becomes genuinely interesting only if Croskey-Merritt’s groin flares up again, in which case Rachaad White is still the bigger beneficiary. Leave him on waivers in standard 12-team leagues.

Najee Harris — NYG (RB4 on the published order, but functionally the No. 3 back the Giants intend to rotate in for goal-line, short-yardage and pass-catching snaps starting in Week 2.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he carries no designation on the Giants’ FINAL Friday Sept 18, 2026 report for the Monday Sept 21 game at the Rams. He is not on the injury report. His Week 1 absence was a healthy scratch (a coaching decision), not an injury designation.
  • Practice this week: Not on the injury report, so no participation level is filed. Full participation Wed Sept 16, Thu Sept 17 and Fri Sept 18. Head coach John Harbaugh said this week that Harris is ‘looking good.’
  • Injury: None currently. Historical context only: he is working back from a torn ACL suffered in the 2025 season, which is why New York ramped him slowly.
  • When it happened: N/A for any current injury. The underlying 2025 ACL tear is the reason for the phased return; he has been medically cleared and on the active roster, and was simply inactive by choice in Week 1 on Sunday Sept 13, 2026 vs Dallas.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: ACL reconstruction runs 9-12 months to return-to-play, and running backs specifically tend to need another 4-8 game appearances before contact balance and burst look normal. Harris is medically past the clearance line; what remains is a deliberate workload ramp by the club rather than a medical restriction.
  • Expected back to full health: Medically healthy now (Friday Sept 18, 2026, Week 2). Expect a full, unmanaged workload to be available to him by mid-October 2026, roughly Weeks 5-6, if the rotation opens up.
  • Next game: ACTIVE and expected to make his Giants debut in Week 2, Monday Sept 21, 2026 at the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium (8:15 p.m. ET), taking the No. 3 rotational role. He will not start.
  • Next four weeks: Available Weeks 2 (at LAR), 3, 4 and 5 with a role that should grow week over week. Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary remain the 1-2 punch, but Harris is the likeliest back to steal goal-line work — which is where his fantasy value lives.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tyrone Tracy Jr. (RB3 on paper) would reclaim the rotational snaps, and practice-squad backs Grant Finley and Phil Mafah are the emergency depth.
  • Change since Week 1: CHANGED / effectively new to this report. On Sept 12 he was simply RB4 with no injury note; he was then a healthy scratch for Week 1. For Week 2 the Giants have signalled he will be active and folded into the rotation, which is a real change in his outlook.

Fantasy takeaway: Speculative add in a 12-team full-PPR league, not a Week 2 start. He is a low-cost bench stash whose value is entirely tied to goal-line touchdown equity behind Cam Skattebo. If Skattebo were to miss time, Harris would be a weekly flex play immediately. Do not start him blind on Monday night.

Pierre Strong — GB (Practice-squad running back (DEV) — depth behind Chris Brooks, MarShawn Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (c) he is a practice-squad player (status code DEV on https://www.nfl.com/teams/green-bay-packers/roster as of Sept 18, 2026). Practice-squad players do not appear on the official NFL injury report at all, so no game-status designation exists or can exist for him. He is available for elevation.
  • Practice this week: Not reported — practice-squad participation is not published on the official injury report. Full week: no Wed, Thu or Fri participation is publicly documented, and none can be. There is no indication of any physical limitation.
  • Injury: None verified. The Sept 9 baseline carried an unofficial beat-reporting note about a possible issue; no official source has ever confirmed an injury and he appears on no injury report.
  • When it happened: N/A — no verified injury. Nothing has been officially documented at any point.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — no verified injury to recover from.
  • Expected back to full health: He is presumed healthy as of Friday Sept 18, 2026. Nothing in the official record indicates otherwise, and practice-squad status is a roster classification rather than a health status.
  • Next game: WILL NOT PLAY in Week 2 vs the New York Jets on Sunday Sept 20, 2026 unless Green Bay elevates him from the practice squad, which has not been announced. With three healthy active-roster backs ahead of him, an elevation is unlikely.
  • Next four weeks: Practice-squad depth through Weeks 2 through 5 barring an injury to Chris Brooks, MarShawn Lloyd or Kaleb Johnson. He is the fourth option and becomes relevant only if the Green Bay backfield takes another hit on top of Josh Jacobs’s exempt-list absence.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is himself the backup-of-the-backups. Damon Bankston (DEV) is the only body behind him on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 1: Clarified rather than changed. The Sept 12 baseline flagged an unofficial beat-reporting injury note with no official confirmation. That remains unconfirmed and he still appears on no injury report; he is simply a healthy practice-squad back. No change to his DEV status.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full PPR. He is a practice-squad player behind three active backs in a committee that is already unusable for fantasy. Tracked only to close out the unverified injury note carried on the baseline — there is no confirmed injury and no official designation. Ignore him unless Green Bay suffers a second backfield injury.

Rosters and depth charts for all 32 teams were verified against official league roster pages before this report was compiled, and every player listed was confirmed to be on the roster shown. Designations come from the final official club and league injury reports filed Friday, September 18, 2026. Recovery timelines describe how long a class of injury typically sidelines an NFL player and are not a prediction for any individual.
