CURSUM PERFICIO album cover

ANTHRAX have released the latest single and video, “Everybody’s Got A Plan,” from their long-awaited 12th full-length studio album CURSUM PERFICIO out September 18 via Megaforce Records.

The new video was mostly filmed on July 7 in Lisbon, Portugal when the multi-GRAMMY® Award-nominated New York hard rock titans—Scott Ian (guitar), Charlie Benante (drums), Frank Bello (bass), Joey Belladonna (vocals), and Jonathan Donais (guitar)—toured with Iron Maiden in Europe. It features live performance footage and behind the scenes backstage fun with cutaways to classic B&W boxing footage that underline the song’s central lyrics: “Everybody’s got a plan/That’s until they get punched in the face…” Watch the video and listen to the incendiary song, with its massive riffs and ferocious vocals, HERE.

“‘Everybody’s Got a Plan’ has always been one of my favorite songs on Cursum Perficio,” Benante says. “The video basically shows the band on and off stage in a montage of video clips that kinda matches the velocity of the song.  ‘Everybody’s got a plan/That’s until they get punched in the face’ is such a great line, and so true!”

“Most of this video was shot opening for [Iron] Maiden in Lisbon, Portugal at Estádio da Lu on July 7, 2026,” Ian notes. “We wanted to capture us having fun on tour and what better way to do that? That was a plan that didn’t end up with a punch in the face! Have fun watching my friends!”

Bello adds, “This video is a great representation of a day in the life of Anthrax on tour.”

ANTHRAX have previously released two singles and videos from CURSUM PERFICIO“It’s For The Kids” a classic ANTHRAX ripper locked and loaded with buzzsaw-sharp riffs, explosive drumming, and a howling and head-banging hook. It undoubtedly has all the makings of a future live staple. Listen HERE and watch the official music video HERE. It was followed by “The Edge Of Perfection,” highlighted by clean guitar echoes and cymbals that gently shake until a blastbeat blows open the doors. Guitars buzz like a motorboat on the River Styx, making waves through the darkness. In their wake, a crushing rhythm trails the melody of lead singer Joey Belladonna’slament, “My heart breaks…I’m on the edge…I’m on the edge of perfection.” Listen to “The Edge Of PerfectionHERE and watch the official music video HERE.

Meanwhile, the group recently announced they were rolling out uniquely animated short clips based on the album cover, with the first clip shared July 28. The worked with artist Mark Stritzel for the striking cover and the animation was done by Emmanuel Cappellini. Mark initially worked with the band’s Charlie Benante on the characters featured on the album cover. Watch the first clip HERE and listen to the story HERE. Every Tuesday, the group will unveil the individual stories of each character featured on the album. Beyond the Magician’s story, subsequent weeks will reveal more about the Woman In White, Dog, Winged Skeleton, and concluding September 1 with Hands.

CURSUM PERFICIO marks the band’s first record in ten years since 2016’s For All Kings, which debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. The phrase Cursum Perficio is Latin for “My journey has come to an end,“My journey is over, or “I complete my journey. It proves apropos for such a complete body of work. It will be available as a standard CD; Target exclusive CD with a fabric patch of the album cover; standard black double LP with pop-up gatefold; Target exclusive double LP, red zoetrope with pop up gatefold; Amazon exclusive double LP, purple zoetrope LP with pop-up gatefold; merch exclusive lilac vinyl double LP with pop-up gatefold; Metal Injection exclusive white vinyl double LP with pop-up gatefold; Talk Shop Live exclusive signed with red ripple vinyl double LP with pop-up gatefold; Indie exclusive – red, orange yellow vinyl double LP with pop-up gatefold. To pre-order/pre-save, click HERE.

The band dove into recording CURSUM PERFICIO in earnest during 2022, working out of Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles. They carefully pieced together what would be this magnum opus, mining their history with reverence, delivering on fan expectations tenfold, and broadening the scope of their signature sound. Produced by Jay Ruston and ANTHRAX, the result is an album that’s as angry, aggressive, and alive as their most celebrated fare.

The CURSUM PERFICIO track listing is as follows:

Persistence of Memory

The Long Goodbye

It’s For the Kids

Everybody’s Got A Plan

The Edge Of Perfection

HONORED BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS WITH THE OFFICIAL PROCLAMATION OF JULY 11TH, 2026 AS “NOAH KAHAN DAY”

2x GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-platinum artist Noah Kahan’s global superstardom reaches new heights as he celebrates a series of historic and career-defining milestones. Hailed as one of the “Best Albums of 2026” by Billboard, NPR, and Rolling Stone, his critically acclaimed #1 album The Great Divide has officially been Certified Platinum by the RIAA. With its new RIAA Platinum certification, The Great Divide continues to shatter records at a historic pace, becoming the fastest Americana / Folk album of all time to achieve Platinum status while entering rare company as one of only two albums released this year to reach the milestone.

Kahan also makes history as the first artist ever to headline four consecutive sold-out nights at Boston’s iconic Fenway Park. His unprecedented run concluded tonight following sold-out performances on July 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th that welcomed more than 150,000 fans to Fenway Park. During tonight’s final show, Fenway Park invited Noah’s mom, Lauri Berkenkamp, to surprise him with news of an official induction into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame. He becomes just the fourth artist ever to receive the honor, joining Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, and Zac Brown Band as the venue’s most celebrated performers.

Throughout the sold-out residency, Kahan transformed Fenway Park into the world of The Great Divide, bringing his immersive stadium production to his largest hometown crowds to date. The shows featured special surprise on-screen appearances from beloved Boston royalty, including former New England Patriots’ and legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski, Red Sox icon David Américo Ortiz Arias (a.k.a “Big Papi”), and New England Patriots’ quarterback Drake Maye. Kahan’s unforgettable stadium performances celebrated both where he came from and how far he’s come, marking another milestone in his meteoric rise from intimate New England clubs to becoming one of the world’s biggest recording and touring artists.

In recognition of this triumphant achievement and Kahan’s profound impact on New England, The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has officially proclaimed July 11th, 2026 as “Noah Kahan Day.” This proclamation underscores not only the cultural impact of Kahan’s historic hometown-area triumph, but also his enduring commitment to the New England community that shaped him. The honor recognizes both his unprecedented achievements on stage and his leadership off stage, as he continues to champion mental health awareness and expand access to mental health care through his non-profit The Busyhead Project, which has raised nearly $7 million to date, especially in local communities across New England.

The celebrations come as “The Great Divide World Tour” continues its completely sold-out run across North America before heading to Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., and Europe later this year. The global tour has already sold more than 1.5 million tickets. For more tour information, visit noahkahan.com/pages/tour.

BRIAN SETZER: “It’s good to be healthy and strong again. There’s something about the unique sound of The Stray Cats that keeps drawing me in. The Gretsch guitar, the acoustic bass, and the stand-up drums still sound pure and fresh today. Come on out and have some fun with us this summer.”

LEE ROCKER: “The Stray Cats are back and ready to blast off! It’s an amazing feeling to join up with Brian and Slim, hit the stage and Rock across America. No one can do it like us Cats …nobody comes close”

SLIM JIM PHANTOM: “With The Stray Cats, there’s always some extra magic around the summertime shows. It’s the perfect time for the Cats & Kittens to get dolled up, put the top down & cruise to the greatest Rockabilly show on earth!”

Last year, the iconic multi-million selling band released two new tracks via Surfdog Records: the loud, upbeat “Stampede” which is unmistakably The STRAY CATS and their cover of Eddie Cochran’s “Teenage Heaven.” These songs mark the first new music in six years, listen HERE and pre-order 7-inch “old school” 45 RPM vinyl record, available July 24. Both “Stampede” and “Teenage Heaven” were produced by The Stray Cats, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, and recorded at The Terrarium in Minneapolis, MN & Laguna Sound in Laguna Beach, CA. “Stampede” was written by Brian Setzer, Peter B. Antonio, Wally Zober, Bert Salmirs, and Mike Himelstein, while “Teenage Heaven” was penned by Jerry Capehart and Eddie Cochran.

About THE STRAY CATS:

THE STRAY CATS, the band that put Rockabilly music back on the record charts in the early ’80s, scored several big hits on both sides of the Atlantic thanks to a striking visual 1950’s style brought “up to date” with exaggerated pompadours and colorful tattoos and as well as genuine musical chops that evoked the best players of rockabilly’s original heyday. Formed by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer, upright bass player Lee Rocker and drummer Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, NY, in 1979, the trio shared a love for Rockabilly music. After banging around New York for a few months, in the summer of 1980, and seeing a pompadoured kid on the cover of UK magazine NME, they hopped a plane to London where a rockabilly revival movement was just beginning to emerge. Their massive hits and videos include “Runaway Boys,” “Rock This Town,” “Stray Cat Strut” “(She’s) Sexy + 17,” and “I Won’t Stand in Your Way.”

TUCKER WETMORE RIDES THE HEAT WAVE WITH SUNBURN MIXTAPE OUT NOW

Six-song collection features new tracks “98%,” “Yours,” “Crazy To Yourself” and more

“Who Told You That” earns career-best add day at Country radio after three back-to-back No.1s

Award-winning country hitmaker Tucker Wetmore turns up the heat with his six-song Sunburn Mixtape, out now via Back Blocks Music/MCA/Mercury Records. Built for long hot days and late summer nights, the collection pairs three brand new tracks with a trio of fan favorites.

LISTEN: SUNBURN MIXTAPE

Produced by Chris LaCorte, the mixtape’s newly released tracks move from the after-midnight abandon of “Crazy To Yourself” to the playful chemistry of “98%” and the moonlit romance of “Yours.” They join “Sunburn,” the hazy standout named Song of the Week by The New York Times’ Popcast, “Proving Me Right” and “Who Told You That.”

Earlier this month, Wetmore earned the No. 1 most-added song at Country radio with “Who Told You That,” landing 89 first-week stations. The milestone marks Wetmore’s largest add day of his career as the single debuted at No. 54 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart. Riding a groovy, breezy country rhythm, “Who Told You That” finds Wetmore drawing a line in the sand between reputation and reality.

The new mixtape follows Wetmore’s third consecutive No. 1 with “Brunette” and a string of milestones, including being named Billboard’s Country Rising Star and winning New Male Artist of the Year at the 61st ACM Awards. After completing the sold-out first leg of The Brunette World Tour presented by NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer in London this spring, Wetmore joined HARDY’s Country! Country! Tour and will take the second leg of his headline tour into this summer and fall. Come September, he’ll join Brooks & Dunn for select dates, with a special stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on September 12.

Hailed as “one of country music’s biggest breakout successes over the past few years” by Billboard, Wetmore continues to build on the momentum of his debut album, What Not To, which became the biggest country album from a new artist last year. The album debuted at No. 15 on Billboard’s all-genre 200 Albums chart and helped propel Wetmore to more than 2.7 billion global career streams.

With three consecutive No. 1s, major award recognition and a rapidly growing fanbase, Wetmore is carrying one of country music’s hottest runs into the peak of summer. Fans can keep up with Wetmore on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and his website at tuckerwetmore.com.

ABOUT TUCKER WETMORE:
An ACM Award-winning singer-songwriter and headline performer who has already surpassed 2.7 billion career streams, chart-topper Tucker Wetmore has taken just a few years to leave a lasting mark. Raised in Kalama, Washington, the piano-playing student of country, rock, reggae and more wrote his first song after a college football injury, reaching Nashville in 2020. Kicking off his career with Platinum “Wine Into Whiskey” and 2x Platinum debut No. 1 “Wind Up Missin’ You,” Wetmore landed on Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 in 2024 with both tracks, showcasing a serene, sawtoothed-country buzz. He released his debut album, What Not To, to wide acclaim in 2025, wrapping hard-won life lessons in laid-back singalongs and soul-scouring balladry. The project marked the year’s biggest country album debut from a new artist. Out now, his six-song Sunburn Mixtape turns up the heat with sun-dappled grooves, polished hooks and a sleek rhythmic pulse, expanding the sound of a hitmaker firmly in his stride. After earning his first two Mediabase Country No. 1s with “Wind Up Missin’ You” and “3,2,1,” Wetmore became the 14th artist in chart history to take his first two singles to No. 1 in the same calendar year. He then went three-for-three with “Brunette” before sending his latest single, “Who Told You That,” to Country radio. Already a veteran of major tours alongside Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean, Jordan Davis and more, Wetmore launched The Brunette World Tour in 2026 with dates across the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Named ACM New Male Artist of the Year, a Billboard Country Rising Star and aCMA New Artist of the Year nominee, he continues to build on a breakout run defined by three consecutive No. 1s and sold-out headline dates.

Following a breakout year that saw DOGMA sell out every European headlining show, complete its largest Latin American tour to date, and continue its rapid international ascent, the band returns today with “My Matricidal,” the highly anticipated new single and music video.

“My Matricidal” is a theatrical collision of aggressive guitars, ritualistic percussion, haunting cinematic soundscape, soaring vocal performances, and a relentless series of sonic blows that steadily escalate toward a towering climax. The result is a dark, emotionally charged composition that expands the band’s signature blend of hard rock, metal, and provocative storytelling.

Accompanying the single is an ambitious new music video that expands the narrative introduced in “Fate Unblinds,” revealing another key piece of the puzzle while raising new questions about everything that came before.

Regarding the new release, Lilith comments, “The themes explored in ‘My Matricidal’ are not really about betrayal. They are about recognition. There comes a moment in every person’s life when something they believed, trusted, or accepted can no longer withstand reality. Most people spend their energy focusing on the deception itself, but I think the more important question is what happens after the truth becomes impossible to ignore. Some people retreat into anger or denial. Others choose to learn from it and move forward with greater clarity. That moment of choice has always fascinated me because it ultimately shapes the direction of a person’s life. The truth reveals itself in time. What you do with it is your responsibility. You shape your fate.”

The release arrives at a pivotal moment in DOGMA’s continued growth. During the first half of 2026, the band completed its largest European and Latin American touring cycle to date, performing for thousands of fans across both continents. Every European headlining show sold out, including appearances in London, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Bristol, Eindhoven, Hamburg, and Munich.

The momentum continues this summer as DOGMA returns to Europe for appearances at major festivals including Copenhell, Basinfire, Tuska, Rockharz, Rock Imperium, and Resurrection Fest, alongside a special headlining performance in Istanbul.

With the release of “My Matricidal,” DOGMA maintains a single position: The truth reveals itself in time.

Upcoming festival dates:

Jun 29: Istanbul, Türkiye · Blind
Jul 2: Ballenstedt, Germany – Rockharz Festival
Jul 4: Viveiro, Spain · Resurrection Fest
Jul 5: Cartagena, Spain · El Batel Park

“It’s heartening to hear a Beastie Boy just having fun on a record again”
— THE NEW YORK TIMES

The August 28 release of Thank You, the debut album from Mike D 5D, will mark the first full length offering of new music from a Beastie Boys alum since 2011’s Hot Sauce Committee Part 2.

Preceded by the “playful, beat-driven collage” (THE NEW YORK TIMES) of “Switch Up” and “the classic, bombastic, boisterously energetic” (OKAYPLAYER) “What We Got,” Thank You is a dozen servings of sonically inventive post-electronic grooves and hypnotic hooks that find Mike D’s unmistakable voice leading the listener through an aural playground that defies categorization.

The album’s announcement coincides with the launch of the visualizer for the darkly melodic “True Colors,” which can be seen HERE

Thank You traces its origins back to a series of zero-pressure, experimental recording sessions at Mike’s home studio. The sessions began with Mike’s sons Skyler and Davis as the first of a cast of collaborators that would expand to include Carter Lang, Jared Solomon, Ging, Jason Lader, Eddie Ruscha, Tyran Donaldson and more joining in across a variety of locations. The album’s fluid, intuitive nature is reflected in its eclectic artwork by visual collaborators Can Can Press, Thad Higa and Charles Deroyan.

“It’s been so much fun making this music with people I love and I have grown to really appreciate in our collaboration,” Mike D commented. “And I just hope it’s fun for others and not overly serious, because let’s be real, I’m releasing this music into a very strange and dark and power-fixated world that really devalues art and feelings and compassion and empathy and equality.”

Mike D 5D’s Thank You will be released August 28 via Capitol Records. The album was mixed by Derek “MixedByAli” Ali, mastered by Nicolas de Porcel, and consists of the following songs

SUMMER 2026 “THE SWEAT AND BLOOD” HEADLINE TOUR SET FOR JULY

LEG 2 OF TOUR TAKES PLACE THIS FALL

Platinum-selling, Scranton, PA powerhouse MOTIONLESS IN WHITE will release their new album DECADES  July 17 via Roadrunner Records. Pre-order it here.

Today, the band shares thew new song “R.I.P.” (Feat. Skylar Grey).

Watch the video here.

The video was directed by Jensen Noen, who also lensed the “Werewolf” and “Sign Of Life” videos.

The track evokes the power of a lover’s lament inscribed on a headstone. Piano twinkles through the haze of funereal synths, where the dual male-femal vocals entwine on an epic chorus boosted by soaring harmonies. It’s everything you want, love, and expect from Motioneless In White.

“Skylar’s voice brought it to another level that I never could have achieved on my own,” says singer Chris Motionless. “I really love the lyrics for this song. Even though I wrote it through a romantic lens, I love that it can be applied to any moment in your life when you’ve had a falling out with someone you deeply care about, whether that’s a best friend, family member, or romantic partner.”

He continues, “The song really hones in on the deafening silence that follows after you’ve said hurtful things to one another that you wish you could take back. It’s meant to capture the tension that exists in that quiet space of separation. You want to apologize and make things right, but you don’t know how. You want to tell them you love them more than anything and can’t live without them, but there’s a lot of pain on both sides that has to be confronted first. All the while, you’re left with the crippling uncertainty of whether the relationship can ever recover and move forward, or if it’s destined to be laid to rest and gone forever.”

Motionless In White are at home in the dark. For over 20 years, the quintet — Chris Motionless [vocals], Ricky Olson [guitar], Ryan Sitkowski [guitar], Vinny Mauro [drums], and Justin Morrow [bass] — have resided in their own shadowy corner of alternative music and culture. The group’s uncanny alchemy of metal, hardcore, goth, industrial, and electronic has magnetically attracted an ardent audience, fueling a quiet rise out of the Rust Belt and into arenas as a headlining force of nature.  Their D.I.Y. work ethic drives the evolution of an immersive world where stunning visuals match the scope of the sound. The collective comes full circle on their seventh full-length offering Decades. For as much as it conjures their signature style, the LP sees them continue to confidently cut a path through uncharted territory, spreading a little darkness in their wake.

Decades features several high-profile and eclectic guest appearances. In addition to Taylor, Sklyar Grey, and Dark Divine‘s Anthony Martinez also feature on the album. The band recorded Decades in Upstate New York and Los Angeles with co-producers Drew Fulk and Justin “JD” deBlieck and ultimately incorporated their past, present, and future sounds into one cohesive sound. This is Motionless at their very best.

“We were never afraid to take risks,” observes Chris. “This band has not only lasted two decades, but we’ve also outlasted all of the obstacles we’ve faced. We’re still grinding. No matter how far we expand the universe that is Motionless In White, we’re going to preserve the heart, soul, and roots of where we came from. We are never going to abandon heartfelt, emotional, and heavy songs. We are never going to abandon what mattered to us the most when we started. We’re finding new ways to emphasize those stories with exciting sounds and looks, but the vision is the same. It’s always been this grand, dramatic, and theatrical entity. I’m proud we haven’t gotten comfortable.”

He finishes, “Decades is definitely heavier than some of our past albums. Our current world bred more aggressive energy, anger, and resistance.”

Multi-Platinum entertainer Russell Dickerson capped off a career-defining CMA Fest 2026 weekend Sunday night (6/7), with an electrifying Nissan Stadium performance delivering one of the festival’s most talked-about moments. The milestone set kicked off with fan-favorite hits “Blue Tacoma,” “Yours” and current single, “Worth Your Wild” before Dickerson surprised the crowd by bringing out rap icon Fetty Wap for the live debut of their new collaboration, “BOOTS.” The pair kept the energy soaring with a performance of Fetty Wap’s chart-topping smash “Trap Queen,” creating one of the weekend’s biggest crossover moments. The surprise appearance sent fans into a frenzy, with The Tennessean noting, “the crowd lost its mind, and every phone in the house went up.” Dickerson also enlisted the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders to join the celebration, delivering an “onstage moment that won’t be forgotten any time soon” (American Songwriter).

Earlier in the week, Dickerson officially kicked off CMA Fest 2026 with a packed performance on the Chevy Riverfront Stage before serving as the festival’s coveted Artist of the Day. As CMA Artist of the Day, Dickerson participated in a packed schedule of fan-focused events, highlighted by a special Artist-on-Artist conversation hosted by country music icon Keith Urban at CMA’s Fan Fair X inside Music City Center. During the session, Urban interviewed Dickerson to celebrate his career journey, songwriting success and growing impact on country music, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at one of the genre’s most exciting stars. The day continued with performances at the SiriusXM Music Row Happy Hour, a “Blue Tacomies” Fan Club Party and a late-night performance at Spotify House at Old Red. Across every stop, Dickerson brought the energy, enthusiasm and fan connection that have become hallmarks of his live show, helping set the pace for an unforgettable weekend in Music City. From opening CMA Fest on the Chevy Riverfront Stage to closing out the weekend with a breakout Nissan Stadium debut, Dickerson delivered a landmark hometown celebration that underscored his growing status as one of country music’s premier live entertainers.

About Russell Dickerson
Multi-Platinum chart-topper and Triple Tigers artist Russell Dickerson has built a career defined by heart, grit, and explosive live performances. He burst onto the scene with a remarkable run of # 1 hits — “Yours” (3X Platinum), “Blue Tacoma” (2X Platinum), “Love You Like I Used To” (2X Platinum), “Every Little Thing” (Platinum), “God Gave Me a Girl,” and most recently the Platinum-certified “Happen to Me” — cementing his reputation as one of country music’s most consistent hitmakers. Surpassing 4 billion career streams, Dickerson has paired genre-blending sonics with heartfelt songwriting, from the soul-infused 2X Platinum duet “She Likes It” (with Jake Scott) to arena-ready anthems that showcase both swagger and sincerity.

Long admired for lyrics inspired by his happy home life, Dickerson has now fully stepped into the spotlight as a powerhouse entertainer. His sold-out live show became the driving force behind his fourth studio album, FAMOUS BACK HOME, a high-energy, confidence-fueled project that mirrors the electricity of his SOLD-OUT RUSSELLMANIA TOUR — now extended through 2026.

Blending country-soul, ‘80s rock, and modern pop, FAMOUS BACK HOME captures Dickerson at his boldest and most personal. From dance-floor-ready moments to tender family-man reflections, the album delivers sonic swagger without sacrificing the heart-on-sleeve authenticity that has defined his career from the very beginning. YES

RELEASE NEW ALBUM

‘AURORA’

THEIR 24THSTUDIO ALBUM

IS AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE TODAY, JUNE 12,

VIA INSIDEOUTMUSIC/SONY MUSIC

YESSteve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Billy Sherwood, and Jay Schellen—have today (June 12) released their 24th studio album AURORA via InsideOutMusic/Sony Music. Watch the album trailer HERE.

.

As Howe explains: “Making this record was joyful, a chance to play, explore and give everything to the music. It’s always been about collaboration, somebody can write a song, but until everybody puts their contribution in, it isn’t really a Yes song. We’re not trying to echo the past; we’re carrying the spirit of Yes forward and turning it into something new.”

.

An album review posted at The Prog Report underlines the heart of AURORA. “The dynamics, diversity, musicianship, and sheer confidence on display throughout these 60 minutes reveal a band that is still creatively alive, still evolving, and still capable of taking listeners somewhere unexpected.”

.

YES have already given their fans two tastes of the album with the singles Aurora(April 10) and Turnaround Situation(May 20). Watch the Matt Hutchings-directed video for “Aurora” HERE and the visualizer he created for “Turnaround Situation” HERE

AURORA is available as a Limited Deluxe 180g Light Green 2LP+2CD+Blu-ray Artbook & Poster, as well as a Ltd Deluxe 2CD+Blu-ray Artbook, both featuring the stunning artwork of Roger Dean and Freya Dean, as well as a bonus disc of instrumentals, and a Blu-ray featuring Dolby Atmos, 5.1 Surround Sound & 24bit stereo mixes (by Curtis Schwartz). The album is also available as a Gatefold 180g 2LP + LP-booklet, Special Edition CD Digipak & as Digital Album. Pre-order now here: https://yes-band.lnk.to/Aurora

The AURORA track listing is as follows:

  1. Aurora 07:27
  2. Turnaround Situation 05:50
  3. Love Lies Dreaming 06:24
  4. Countermovement 13:48
  5. Ariadne 06:18
  6. All Hands on Deck 03:04
  7. Outside the Box 04:20
  8. Emotional Intelligence 03:30
  9. Jambustin’ (Bonus Track) 04:24
  10. Watching the River Roll (Bonus Track) 04:42

.

When YES first began sketching out ideas for what would become the process was loose and exploratory. There was no preconceived concept at the start, just a collection of musical fragments that gradually began to find one another and take form. Among these early sketches was a piece titled “Aurora,” and it quickly became clear that the name carried certain gravity. It suggested light, emergence, and a sense of vastness, qualities that resonated deeply with the band. Jon Davison remembers how “the title immediately resonated with Steve Howe and sparked visual inspiration for artist Roger Dean, setting a conceptual tone that would guide the project.”

.

Work on AURORA began almost as soon as the ‘Classic Tales of Yes’ tour ended in 2024. The idea of a new album surfaced quickly and with the label’s encouragement, the band had the time to develop material organically. Rather than gathering in a single studio for months, they embraced a modern workflow; ideas were born in home studios, shaped independently, and then woven together through constant collaboration. Downes and Howe often acted as the central creative axis, with Howe, as producer, serving as the point through which all ideas eventually flowed.

.

Across AURORA, each track carries its own character. Some echo the classic approach, others push into new territory, but together they form a cohesive whole that honors the band’s heritage while embracing forward motion. With their 24th studio album, YES demonstrate not just longevity, but a sustained curiosity, a desire to keep exploring, refining and discovering their capacity to create.

Violet Grohl releases her highly anticipated debut album, Be Sweet To Me, today via Auroura Records / Republic Records. It was recorded at producer Justin Raisen’s (Kim Gordon, Charli xcx) Los Angeles home studio alongside musicians assembled in the spirit of the Wrecking Crew session players in the ’60s and ’70s, and its sound takes perpetual influence from the alternative sounds of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s: Pixies, Soundgarden, Cocteau Twins, The Breeders, PJ Harvey, The Muffs, Björk, Alice in Chains, L7, Juliana Hatfield.“I’ve listened to that stuff since I was a kid,” Grohl says of the blend of sounds evidenced on the album’s singles “

THUM,” “595” and “Cool Buzz.” Also out today is a Nikki Milan Houston-directed music video for album track Bug in the Cake,” which can be seen below. Grohl will make her television debut on June 3 on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.“Everything was written in the studio,” Grohl says of the Be Sweet To Me material. “I would come in with an inspiration playlist, we would hang and listen for a little while, and then start writing.” “Violet is so well-versed in all styles of music; every playlist was different,” says Raisen, describing Violet’s assemblages of trip hop, new wave, Scandinavian black metal, ’70s acoustic folk, and vocal jazz. “She showed me a number of things that I wasn’t familiar with; her encyclopedic knowledge of music is crazy.”

WATCH THE “BUG IN THE CAKE” VIDEO:

Critics are already raving about Be Sweet To Me, with NYLON stating, “Violet Grohl is the most authentic successor we’ve had to ‘90s alt rock in a long time, and if you’re skeptical of that claim, just let the music speak for itself.” SPIN wrote, “The songs from Be Sweet To Me aren’t tentative. They arrive loud, fuzzy and dangerously catchy.”
Violet’s first-ever headline tour kicks off tonight with a sold-out show in Los Angeles and continues this month with sold out shows in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. If you’re in New York, Violet will be playing an in-store at Rough Trade NYC on June 1st. Tickets areavailable now. Paul McCartney’s new studio album The Boys of Dungeon Lane is released today. Listen here.

The Boys of Dungeon Lane is not only the first new solo album from Paul McCartney in over five years; it is a revealing collection of never-before shared stories, personal memories, and some newly inspired love songs, from one of the most culturally significant figures of our time. Turning the lens inward, Paul revisits the formative years that shaped both his life, and the very foundations of modern popular culture. The album is arguably his most personal and introspective to date, untold stories that transport the listener back to where it all began. The new songs find Paul in a candid, vulnerable and reflective mood, writing with rare openness about his childhood in post-war Liverpool, the resilience of his parents, and early adventures with George Harrison and John Lennon long before the world had ever heard of Beatlemania. The Boys of Dungeon Lane is the story before THE story.

Record stores nationwide will celebrate the release of The Boys of Dungeon Lane with indie release parties across the weekend from May 29-31. Fans are invited to gather in-store to hear the album, connect with fellow McCartney fans, and take part in exclusive release party offerings including postcard giveaways with photos from Paul’s personal archive, tote bags with purchase, and a chance to win a special canvas print. A highly limited silver vinyl edition with photo print of the new album will also be available to purchase exclusively at participating release parties. Find a participating store near you for dates, times and details.

MESA/BOOGIE

LAUNCHES “WHAT MAKES A BOOGIE”—NEW SERIES HONORING THE HEART, HISTORY, AND CRAFT BEHIND THE GROUNDBREAKING AMPLIFIER MAKER’S LEGENDARY TONE

Chapter 1: History & Legacy premieres today with a rare historical interview featuring 43‑year MESA veteran and Tone Lab Director Doug West, tracing the handcrafted‑in‑Petaluma, California heritage of the MESA/Boogie brand.

MESA/Boogie announced the launch of “What Makes a Boogie,” a brand-new multiepisode video campaign that explores the story, spirit, and craftsmanship behind one of the most influential names in guitar amplification. The series invites players and fans into the world of MESA/Boogie—its people, its innovations, and the relentless pursuit of tone that has defined the brand for more than five decades.

The debut chapter, History & Legacy, launches with a rare, in-depth interview featuring Doug West, MESA/Boogie’s Tone Lab Director and a 43-year veteran of the storied brand. Drawing on decades of first-hand experience, West traces the company’s journey from its late-1960s experimental roots to the groundbreaking amplifier designs that helped define the modern electric guitar sound—all crafted in Petaluma, California. This opening episode offers a compelling, insider perspective on the brand’s evolution and enduring influence WATCH HERE.

For more than 40 years, every MESA/Boogie amplifier and cabinet has been handcrafted in Petaluma, California, where the company has operated since 1980. This commitment to craft remains central to the brand’s identity and will be celebrated throughout the “What Makes a Boogie” series, which highlights MESA/Boogie’s most iconic products and its ongoing design leadership.

Anchored by West’s personal reflections, the episode illuminates the culture of experimentation, originality, and tone first thinking that has guided MESA/Boogie since its founding. His stories bring to life the origins of the “Boogie” name, the early workshop days, and the innovations that established MESA/Boogie as the original boutique amplifier builders.

ABOUT ARIANA GRANDE
Ariana Grande is a Grammy® Award winning musician and an Academy Award® and Golden Globe® nominated actress. She has delivered eight consecutive platinum albums and amassed over 125 billion streams worldwide, solidifying her as one of the most influential pop artists of her generation.

Grande has earned nine #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieved seven #1 song debuts, the third most of any artist in history. She made chart history as the first artist since The Beatles to occupy the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, with “7 rings,” “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored,” and “thank u, next.” In 2020, she further cemented her record-breaking success as the first artist to debut three songs at #1 on the Hot 100 in a single calendar year. Her 2024 album eternal sunshine debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and became the longest-running #1 album of her career, spawning back-to-back Hot 100 #1 debuts with “yes, and?” and “we can’t be friends (wait for your love).” Expanding her impact across both music and film, Wicked and Wicked: For Good also stand among the highest-debuting theater adaptations in Billboard 200 history.

Most recently, Grande starred as Glinda in Jon M. Chu’s feature films Wicked and Wicked: For Good opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, alongside an all-star cast including Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, and Jeff Goldblum. The films have collectively grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide, making them the highest-grossing film series ever based on a Broadway musical. Grande’s performance earned her Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA, Critics Choice, and SAG Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress, while Wicked also received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Picture.

Continuing to expand her career across screen and stage, Grande has completed production on Universal’s Focker-In-Law, in which she stars opposite Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, set for release this November. In 2027, she will make her highly anticipated stage debut on London’s West End in a revival of Sunday in the Park with George opposite Jonathan Bailey. She will also lend her voice to Warner Bros.’ animated musical adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go! and appear in an upcoming season of FX’s American Horror Story.

THE WARNING LAND A DIRECT HIT WITH NEW SINGLE “EGO”

LISTEN HERE // WATCH HERE

ON TOUR SUPPORTING YUNGBLUD

The Warning unleash unapologetic force on their explosive new single “Ego” out now via Lava/Republic Records. Sung entirely in Spanish, the track arrives alongside an equally intense official music video that made its broadcast premier on MTV Live, mtvU, and on the Paramount Times Square billboards. Listen HERE and watch HERE and purchase a limited-edition 7” vinyl and merch collection HERE.Fueled by a punchy electric guitar intro, razor-sharp riffs, and relentless momentum, “Ego” finds the Monterrey sister-trio delivering one of their heaviest and most confrontational tracks to date. The song’s infectious energy collides with towering instrumentation and an undeniable hook, while Paulina Villarreal’s visceral screams push the track into overdrive.

On “Ego”, The Warning channel defiance into empowerment, refusing to let outside judgment or other people’s insecurities dictate their identity, choices, or success. The track takes aim at projection, criticism, and ego-driven negativity with fearless conviction, transforming frustration into a bold statement of self-possession and resilience.

The accompanying music video mirrors the song’s intensity with striking visuals that further amplify the band’s fearless presence and rebellious spirit. The band notes, “we loved shooting “Ego”! This music video is all about reclaiming your power, embracing confidence, and standing tall in your identity… even when the world is watching. It’s always so special for us to release music in our first language, Spanish, and we hope you love this song and video as much as we do.”

“EGO” follows the release of “Kerosene” an incendiary anthem that showcased the band’s sharp songwriting and uncompromising edge – listen HERE and watch HERE. Together, the singles continue to expand The Warning’s ever-evolving sound while reinforcing the chemistry and fearlessness that have made them one of modern rock’s most exciting forces. In 2026, the band continues their global takeover with performances at Lollapalooza festivals across South America, major European festival appearances, and dates supporting Yungblud on the IDOLS World Tour across the UK and US. • Vocalist and founder Aaron Bruno treated fans to multiple sets with his bands AWOLNATION (including a euphoric singalong of “Sail”) and The Barbarians Of California.
  • No mere stage was enough to contain the perpetual motion of Suicidal Tendencies, whose Tuesday afternoon deck set carried the energy of the Half Moon Cay beach party – with Shepherds ReignAurorawave, and a chaotic Beach Wars led by GANG! – into the night.
  • Avatar brought a fitting ShipRocked twist to their trademark theatrical flair, as they emerged in matching bathrobes, drinking rum punches for the coveted “sailaway set” as the Carnival Horizon pulled away from the Port of Miami.
  • Starset live debuted their new song “We Are Empire,” performing in their classic space suits.

  • Acclaimed illustrator and cartoonist Jay Howell (Bob’s Burgers, Sanjay And Craig) created unique caricature portraits of guests and band members during the cruise.
  • The Music Experience lounge hosted a guitar clinic with Marcos Curiel of P.O.D.
  • Fans packed the Ocean Plaza lounge for a special one-night-only performance from Kemikalfire, featuring Arejay Hale (Halestorm) and Taylor Carroll.
  • Many ShipRocked guests got up early on Thursday to enjoy a packed “Morning Music” acoustic set with Brandon Yeagley and Chris Bishop from Crobot.
  • The ShipRocked onboard tattoo parlor featured artists from Paradise Tattoo in Florida, and Chris Bishop (Crobot) of Snake Eyes Tattoo in Austin.
  • The Stowaways’ all-star band punctuated ShipRocked‘s “Rock Hard, Vacation Harder” mantra with a “party hardest” Wednesday deck stage set that spanned a half century of good-time hits (including, of course, Andrew W.K.’s “Party Hard” with Chad Nicefield and Leo Moracchioli on vocals). Eric Vanlerberghe (I Prevail) and Amanda Lyberg (Eva Under Fire) got the party started with Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out”; Crobot’s Brandon Yeagley reached back to the ’50s for The Isley Brothers’ “Shout,” joined by Ricky Armellino (Ice Nine Kills) on guitar; Hollywood Undead’s Funny Man and Charlie Scene traded vocals on Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell,” with J-Dog on bass; With Dylan Bowman (I Prevail) on guitar and Matt Wantland (10 Years) on bass, Brandon Saller (Atreyu) and Sonny Sandoval (P.O.D.) had 3 decks of the Carnival Horizon singing along with Papa Roach’s “Last Resort”; Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Bumblefoot led vocalists Moriah Formica (Plush), Amanda LybergMatt James (Blacktop Mojo) and Leo Moracchioli through a set-closing “Paradise City.”
  • The Weather Gods proved no match for the Rock Gods, as The Stowaways’ Friday night finale “Zeus Medusa” set brought heavy metal thunder to the Horizon‘s intimate Ocean Plaza stage (moved inside from the deck stage) with a set featuring classics from Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, White Zombie, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, and more.

The stellar group of musicians joining The Stowaways in 2026 included Eric Vanlerberghe and Dylan Bowman from I PrevailCharlie Scene, Funny Man and J-Dog from Hollywood Undead, and Ricky Armellino from Ice Nine Kills, along with Al McManus (ASK4 Entertainment), Andy Wood (Andy Wood Trio), Matt Wantland (10 Years), Johnny Hetherington (Art of Dying), Brandon Saller (Atreyu), Doc Coyle (former Bad Wolves), Brandon Ellis (Black Dahlia Murder), Matt James (Blacktop Mojo), Ron “Bumblefoot” ThalChad Nicefield (Chad Nicefield Trio), Kiarely Castillo and Kristen Sturgis (Conquer Divide), Brandon Yeagley (Crobot), Leanne Bowes (Demi Lovato), DiamanteAmanda Lyberg (Eva Under Fire), Tom Hane (former In This Moment), Leo Moracchioli (Frog Leap), Marcos Curiel and Sonny Sandoval (P.O.D.), Moriah Formica (Plush), Bobby Amaru (Saliva), Shaun Smith (Shaun Smith Trio), Jackson Foster (Silly Goose), Tavis Stanley (Saint Asonia), Alex Bent (former Trivium) and Joey Varela (VRSTY).

During the 2026 cruise, the annual ShipRocked Cancer Sucks! onboard charity auction raised a record-breaking $200,000, bringing the total amount to more than $1.2 million raised on ShipRocked to date for innovative medical research and finding a cure for cancer.

In addition to nonstop music, photo meet & greets, tropical port visits, wild activities and games, theme nights, an onboard tattoo parlor and more, ShipRocked includes traditional cruise activities with a rock/metal twist, such as ShipRocked Beach Wars, a blackjack tournament, dodgeball tournament, live band karaoke, game shows, singles mixers, trivia contests and heavy metal morning yoga.

A floating music festival, a rock & roll summer camp held in the dead of winter, a family reunion for the growing number of ShipRockers who have forged lifelong relationships out of a shared passion for music (and an occasional bucket of beer) – ShipRocked is the premier rock music cruise vacation, offering dozens of performances and unique collaborations, artist-hosted events and activities, theme nights, and ample opportunity for fans and bands alike to unwind and create new friendships in tropical paradise.

Amy Harris with Consequence.net aptly described ShipRocked, saying it “wasn’t just a party at sea; it was a living, breathing ecosystem of metal, community, and collective release…this isn’t just a music festival on a boat — it’s a full-blown community forged at sea.”

Dropkick Murphys’ For The People…In The Pit St. Patrick’s Day Tour

Kicks Off February 9

(February 4, 2026): Dropkick Murphys have just released their new song “Citizen I.C.E.” (featuring Haywire) via all digital platforms, prior to the digital and physical release of their 12” vinyl split LP with Haywire titled New England Forever.

Check out the song here and pre-save the album here.

“Citizen I.C.E.” is a reimagined version of Dropkick Murphys’ 2005 song “Citizen C.I.A.,” recorded in late 2025. DKM recently previewed the song on social media, with a video drawing attention to the tragic killings in Minneapolis.

The band posted this message on their social accounts about the song:

“As Americans are being executed in the street, we feel it is our duty to raise consciousness, and be one of the voices speaking against this nightmare. CITIZEN I.C.E. is FOR THE PEOPLE. Stand strong against tyranny. Use it however you want.

In Solidarity, with Love, Dropkick Murphys”

In “Citizen I.C.E.,” Dropkick Murphys sing:

Power-hungry scumbags

Apply today

Come celebrate dictatorships and bolster the regime

While abusing helpless immigrants, a bully’s wet dream

You’ve joined the traitors’ ranks to play the hand of God

In a dirtbag grifter’s kidnapping squad

Citizen I.C.E.

As previously announced, the vinyl version of New England Forever, which includes “Citizen I.C.E.,” will be available exclusively at shows during Dropkick Murphys’ February 9 – March 17 For The People…In The Pit St. Patrick’s Day Tour with The Aggrolites and Haywire supporting on most dates. The U.S. trek culminates March 13, 14, 15 and 17 in Boston with Dropkick Murphys’ annual run of hometown dates during St. Patrick’s Day week, which brings together DKM fans from around the globe.

Boston-based Dropkick Murphys and Haywire–who got to know each other while touring Europe together last fall–each recorded three original songs as well as a cover version of one of each other’s songs for the 8-song LP. Haywire recorded Dropkick Murphys’ “The Boys Are Back” and Dropkick Murphys recorded Haywire’s “Always By My Side.”

Tortuga Music Festival 2026 Is Calling: Three Days of Sand, Songs, and Sea Turtle Season

If your ideal spring weekend includes boots and beach towels, Tortuga Music Festival is lining up a big, salty comeback. The 13th annual Tortuga takes over Fort Lauderdale Beach (1100 Seabreeze Blvd.) April 10–12, 2026, turning the shoreline into a three-day blend of country, rock, and roots—with the ocean as the loudest “stage design” flex imaginable.

Start your planning here: the official festival hub is https://tortugamusicfestival.com/ and passes/ticket details live at https://tortugamusicfestival.com/passes/ (the festival notes that Front Gate Tickets via Tortuga’s site is the valid ticketing provider).

First-line headliners: a three-headed main-stage monster

Tortuga 2026’s top line is built for maximum singalong whiplash: Post Malone, Riley Green, and Kenny Chesney headline across the weekend.

Post Malone at a beach festival is the kind of genre-blender Tortuga loves: a stadium-sized hitmaker who can pivot from pop-rap swagger to guitars-and-heartbreak energy without breaking a sweat. Riley Green brings the lived-in storytelling and barroom charm that country crowds practically require by law. And Kenny Chesney? He’s basically a coastal weather system—rolls in, turns thousands of people into a single chorus, leaves happy wreckage in his wake.

Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival 2026

Second-line firepower: the “how is this not a headliner?” tier

The next row down on the lineup reads like a festival promoter showing off. Dwight Yoakam adds legendary country credibility, while Tyler Hubbard and Russell Dickerson bring the modern radio-friendly rocket fuel for sunset sets.

Then Tortuga swerves—in the best way—by pulling in Ice Cube and The Fray, giving the weekend a throwback jolt and cross-genre range that keeps the vibe from being “same hat, different day.” Add names like Dustin Lynch, Clay Walker, Flatland Cavalry, Lukas Nelson, and more, and you’ve got undercards that can easily become the stories you tell after the fact (“We only came early to get a good spot and then… wow.”).

Music with a mission (and a reason to feel slightly less guilty about sunscreen)

Tortuga is hosted by the Rock The Ocean Foundation, and a portion of ticket proceeds supports ocean and marine-life conservation. So yes, you’re partying—but you’re also (indirectly) helping protect the watery kingdom that makes the whole beach-festival idea possible.

Passes are on sale now, and the festival notes single-day passes aren’t available at this time—plan for the full three-day immersion.

Yelawolf’s set at Tortuga Music Festival 2025 was a controlled explosion—part rap show, part rock gig, part Southern-roadside revival. Tortuga loves a genre curveball, but Yelawolf didn’t feel like a novelty booking dropped into a country festival for shock value. He felt like an alternate headliner from a parallel universe where hip-hop and outlaw energy grew up in the same garage.

From the first beat, the performance had velocity. His flow stayed sharp and relentless, cutting through wind and shoreline noise like a blade, while the instrumentation and low-end punch gave the set a physical presence you could feel in the sand. He knows how to pace a festival crowd: quick transitions, no dead air, and enough call-and-response to turn a mixed audience into a unified mob within minutes. People who wandered over “just to check it out” got trapped—in the best way—by the momentum.

Stage presence is where Yelawolf really wins. He performs with a wiry intensity that reads honest rather than theatrical, moving like he’s chasing the song instead of posing for it. The vibe stayed rowdy but focused, with a sense of catharsis that’s rare in daylight. And even if country fans didn’t know every word, they recognized the attitude: grit, swagger, and a refusal to sand down edges for easy approval.

In a weekend built on big choruses and beach-friendly comfort, Yelawolf brought something spikier and more adrenaline-forward—a set that made Tortuga feel bigger than its own boundaries.

Wheeland Brothers’ set at Tortuga Music Festival 2025 felt like the festival’s mission statement made audible: sunshine music, ocean breeze grooves, and a crowd that suddenly remembers it has hips. Tortuga can swing from stadium-country spectacle to emotional ballads fast, but Wheeland Brothers owned the “beach-party sweet spot” — that moment when the day is young, your sandals are full of sand, and the only sensible plan is to move with the tide.

Their sound translated perfectly outdoors: bright guitars, buoyant rhythms, and a laid-back pocket that still had real drive underneath. The band played tight without feeling rigid, letting choruses breathe so the crowd could jump in naturally. Even from a distance, the set carried—those melodies ride the wind in a way that makes you wander closer almost by accident, like the music is pulling you by the sleeve.

What stood out most was the vibe discipline. They didn’t try to muscle their way into attention; they earned it by being the most in-sync with the setting. The between-song moments were quick and friendly, more “hang with us” than “watch us,” and it worked: you could see people who were on their way to get food or find friends suddenly stop, dance for a song, then… stay. That’s a win at Tortuga, where the crowd is constantly in motion.

In a lineup packed with big-name intensity, Wheeland Brothers delivered something just as valuable: an hour that felt like vacation. Not background music—soundtrack. The kind you wish could follow you home, still smelling faintly like sunscreen.

The Original Wailers’ set at Tortuga Music Festival 2025 felt less like a “booking” and more like the beach remembering what it was built for. Tortuga has plenty of high-octane moments, but reggae belongs on sand in a way that feels almost geological—like the rhythm is baked into the shoreline. The Original Wailers leaned into that truth and turned their slot into a warm, swaying reset button for the entire day.

What hit first was the groove: deep, unhurried, and locked-in. The rhythm section sat right in the pocket, letting the bass carry the emotional weight while the guitars skanked with crisp, sunlit precision. Even with ocean wind trying to steal details, the mix translated cleanly—steady drums, thick low end, and those melodic accents that make reggae feel both relaxed and purposeful at the same time.

Vocally, the performance balanced reverence with lived-in confidence. Nothing felt like cosplay. The songs carried history, but the band played them like they still matter right now—which is exactly why the crowd responded. You could see people drifting in from other stages, hearing the pulse, then staying because the vibe was too good to walk away from. It wasn’t the loudest set of the weekend, but it may have been one of the most unifying: strangers swaying together, couples dancing in the sand, and that unmistakable festival calm that only happens when the music stops trying to impress and just starts feeling true.

At Tortuga, The Original Wailers didn’t need fireworks. They brought roots—and the beach did the rest.

Shaboozey’s set at Tortuga Music Festival 2025 felt like the future showing up early—boots in the sand, hip-hop pulse in the low end, and country attitude riding shotgun. Tortuga thrives on genre lines getting blurred, and Shaboozey didn’t just blur them. He stomped them into the beach like a fresh footprint and dared the crowd to keep up.

Live, the performance had a kinetic snap that’s hard to fake. His delivery moved smoothly between rhythmic swagger and melodic hooks, never sounding like he was switching “modes” so much as speaking in the language the moment required. The band/track blend hit with real weight—bass you could feel under your feet, drums that punched through the wind, and enough space in the mix for the crowd to become part of the rhythm. It played perfectly in a festival environment where subtlety can get eaten by surf and chatter; Shaboozey brought clarity by bringing energy.

The crowd response was immediate. You could spot the turning heads first—people walking by, hearing the groove, then stopping like they’d just remembered they actually came here for music. By the middle of the set, it was a full-on beach party: phones up, hands up, and that Tortuga moment where strangers start moving together because the beat makes the decision for them.

What really sold it was his presence. He performed like he belonged on that stage—not as a novelty booking, but as a head-turning statement. Shaboozey didn’t just entertain Tortuga. He expanded its definition.

Rodney Atkins’ set at Tortuga Music Festival 2025 felt like the festival version of flipping on a familiar playlist and realizing every track still hits. In a weekend packed with new-school chart toppers and genre crossovers, Atkins brought something simple and powerful: songs the crowd already lives inside. The moment he started, Fort Lauderdale Beach turned into a multigenerational singalong—no warm-up required.

Live, Atkins has that steady, no-frills vocal delivery that works perfectly outdoors. He doesn’t oversing or overact; he just plants his feet, lets the band lock into a groove, and trusts the hooks to do what they’ve always done. His catalog is built for festival call-and-response, and the crowd leaned in hard—arms up, voices out, strangers singing like they’d carpooled together.

The band kept everything punchy and clean, with guitars bright enough to cut through the ocean breeze and drums driving the set forward without turning it into mush. The pacing was smart too: a steady run of recognizable choruses that kept momentum high, with just enough breathing room between songs for the crowd to reset and roar again. Between tracks, Atkins’ stage talk stayed warm and brief—grateful, a little playful, and never enough to stall the energy.

At Tortuga, not every set needs to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes the wheel is already rolling, and you just need someone who knows how to steer it straight down the shoreline. Rodney Atkins did exactly that—classic country, delivered like it still matters, because it does.

Restless Road’s set at Tortuga Music Festival 2025 was tailor-made for the beach: big harmonies, big smiles, and choruses that practically demand you throw an arm around whoever you came with (or whoever is standing next to you in the sand). In a festival environment where subtlety often gets swallowed by wind and waves, the trio leaned into their superpower—stacked vocals—and turned the shoreline into a pop-country choir.

The harmonies were the headline. Live, they stayed tight and clean, even with the outdoor mix doing its usual trick of smearing detail. Instead of fighting that, Restless Road performed in a way that cut through: clear lead lines, crisp blend on the hooks, and just enough vocal push to keep everything present without getting shouty. Their band backed them with bright, radio-ready polish—drums driving, guitars sparkling, and dynamics that kept the set moving without feeling rushed.

What also worked was their crowd awareness. Restless Road didn’t overtalk, but they didn’t feel anonymous either. The between-song moments were quick and genuine—gratitude, a little humor, a few “we can’t believe we’re here” beats that actually felt real. The result was a set that built momentum song-by-song, pulling in passersby and keeping them planted.

Tortuga is a festival of massive names, but it’s also a festival of moments where you discover an act that just fits the setting. Restless Road fit like sunscreen and a cold drink: easy, bright, and exactly what you wanted at that hour.
