About Aaron Lewis: Known for his outspokenness, impassioned live show and Outlaw Country tunes, Aaron Lewis’ recent album, the Buddy Cannon-produced State I’m In (The Valory Music Co.) is the follow-up to Sinner, which went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums, Top 200 Albums, and Top Digital Albums Charts upon release chart and blasts through today’s Country music doldrums like a shot of 100-proof whiskey, with the singer making zero compromises with either himself or the restrictions of a format that seems to have abandoned its rougher tendencies in favor of pop and ‘70s rock inclinations largely lacking in grit. Lewis, who fronts the wildly-successful rock group Staind, has sold 17 million albums worldwide and four consecutive top three debuts on Billboard’s Top 200, including the single “It’s Been Awhile,” which remains the most-played rock song of the decade.
About Sully Erna: Founder, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the multi-platinum rock band Godsmack, Sully Erna released his latest solo album Hometown Life in 2016 via BMG. Composed by Sully on piano and acoustic guitar and produced in his New Hampshire studio, Hometown Life offers a departure from the tribal, world music feel and experimentation on 2010’s AvalonHometown Life’s 10 songs are more accessible, sonically and musically precise. Godsmack stand strong as 21st century hard rock titans. With an unbreakable spirit and die-hard work ethic evocative of their hometown, the Boston quartet fought hard to secure a place in music history since first smashing their way on to the scene in 1998. To date, they’ve notched a staggering eleven #1 singles at mainstream rock radio, including “Awake,” “Straight Out of Line,” “Cryin’ Like A Bitch,” and “I Stand Alone.” In May 2020, Godsmack’s track “Unforgettable” became the fourth #1 rock track from their latest album When Legends Rise (BMG). This accomplishment makes Godsmack one of only four rock acts to reach this achievement. Moreover, they’ve enjoyed 24 Top 10 hits at the format-the most of any act since February 1999-as well as four Grammy nominations, and were winners of The Billboard Music Awards Rock Artists of the Year in 2001. Selling over 20 million records worldwide, the band has also unleashed three consecutive albums at #1 on the Billboard Top 200-namely Faceless [2003], IV [2006], and The Oracle [2010]. This places them in league with Van Halen, U2, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, and Linkin Park who have also enjoyed the same streak. Moreover, the accomplishment on the road remains staggering with headlining sets around the world.

SAINT ASONIA EMBARK ON VIRTUAL TOUR

BAND SHARES LYRIC VIDEO FOR “BLIND” — WATCH + LISTEN

#SAINTASONIAHAPPYHOUR HAPPENS EVERY FRIDAY

As a way to continue to perform live for their fans during the current quarantine conditions, Saint Asonia have announced  a “virtual tour” where the band will perform on the the different social media platforms of rock radio stations around the country. The band will add a local flavor to each performance.

Saint Asonia just dropped their new single “Blind.”

Listen to the song and watch the lyric video:

“It’s been really important to myself and the band to do everything we can to try and stay connected with fans, and with the people who play our music,” says singer Adam Gontier. “We wouldn’t be where we are without the amazing love and support rock radio has shown us over the years. We ended up having this really unique opportunity to play live acoustic shows for a number of stations throughout the month of May, and we’re really excited to do it. During this strange and somewhat disappointing period in time, it’s the least we can do. We’re stoked to do a virtual tour, and play some shows for all of the people who support us.”

He continues, “It also gives us a chance to introduce our new single ‘Blind’ to people. It’s a song about pushing through to the end, no matter how tough it gets. It’s a strong sentiment, considering what the world is going through.”

Saint Asonia continue to hold #SaintAsoniaHappyHour sessions every Friday night, which are all about the talk, the tunes, and the connection with fans.

Saint Asonia, featuring former Three Days Grace frontman Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok, released their sophomore effort Flawed Design in fall 2019 via Spinefarm Records. The single “The Hunted,” featuring Godsmack’s Sully Erna, was a Top 10 radio smash.

Gibson Gives is all about making music matter, one guitar at a time.
NASHVILLE, TN (November 11, 2019) Gibson, the iconic American instrument brand, has partnered with Guitars For Vets to bring the power of music to returning U.S. military veterans. Gibson opened the doors of its Custom Shop in Nashville to debut a donation of 48 guitars and 19,000 string sets as well as pledge their continued support to Guitars For Vets. Guitars For Vets provides veterans with guitars and a forum to learn how to play which is in line with the new Gibson Gives mission. Gibson artist Sully Erna  of the multi-platinum rock group   Godsmack presented the gift to U.S. Veterans Henry Thomas, Pete Nugris , Brandon Branham and Patrick Nettesheim Co-Founder of Guitars For Vets .
“We have a problem in this country and it’s suicide amongst veterans,” explains Patrick Nettesheim , Co-Founder of Guitars For Vets . “When I started Guitars For Vets it was 18 suicides per day, it’s getting worse, but it ’s my belief we’re making progress and we hear this through testimonials all the time, ’this guitar saved my life.’ It’s a great fit to be with the Gibson Foundation because they’re about supporting and creating musicians. With over 400 volunteers and 110 chapters in 43 states we show up to teach guitar and when vets graduate, they get a brand-new acoustic guitar.”
“It’s an honor to be a part of this presentation to our veterans here at the iconic Gibson Custom Shop,” says Sully Erna of Godsmack . “Thanks to our veterans and everything they have done for our country.”
“Gibson Gives is an opportunity to play it forward and this is what matters,” adds James “JC” Curleigh, President and CEO of Gibson . “We are pleased to join Guitars For Vets, when veterans come home, we should have solutions for them and we have solutions through music.
Thousands of U.S. veterans are afflicted with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) . In fact, more soldiers have committed suicide since the Vietnam War than have died in actual battle. Many are now finding hope in an unlikely place: behind the wood and strings of an acoustic guitar. The healing power of music helps soldiers cope and Guitars For Vets (501(c)3) provides veterans with guitars and a forum to learn how to play to relieve stress. With over 80,000 guitar lessons and 3,000 guitars gifted so far, Guitars for Vets has refined a guitar instruction program aimed at providing Veterans struggling with physical injuries, PTSD and more a unique supportive program. Guitars For Vets pursues its mission to share the healing power of music by providing free guitar instruction, a new acoustic guitar and a guitar accessory kit in a structured program run by volunteers, primarily through the Department of Veterans Affairs facilities and community-based medical centers. Guitars For Vets’ mission is to help those who served our country rediscover their joy through the power of music. Watch the Guitars For Vets video Here and for more information, visit: www.guitarsforvets.org .

SAINT ASONIA’S “THE HUNTED” — STARRING YOU!
Rock band Saint Asonia are previewing their music video for their hit single “The Hunted” through a new Snapchat Lens that puts the viewer right into the video’s key scene.
In the :30 second excerpt of their forthcoming full length video for “The Hunted,” viewers can actually insert themselves into a clip from the upcoming video through a specially-designed Lens, and can then share their cameo role with their friends on Snapchat.
While the band unveiled the new Lens via their social media accounts, the Lens will also be featured in Lens Explorer, Snapchat’s hub to discover Lenses made by the community. To open Lens Explorer, just tap the smiley icon that appears when the Lens Carousel is active.
The Lens was made through Lens Studio, Snap’s free desktop app that makes it possible for anyone to create their own Lenses for Snapchat. Lens Studio just unveiled six new templates, including a Face In Video template, which places the viewer’s face into a video. Saint Asonia is the very first band to utilize this exciting new feature.
The Lens was designed by Blnk Digital and the video clip is an excerpt from the forthcoming full-length video directed by P.R. Brown.

Since being released two weeks ago, “The Hunted,” which features a guest vocal from Godsmack’s Sully Erna, has quickly gained radio support across the rock format. The song is the first single from Saint Asonia’s forthcoming album, “Flawed Design,” due out this fall on Spinefarm Records.
ABOUT SAINT ASONIA:
Saint Asonia – named Loudwire’s Best New Artist of 2015 –sparked into life four years ago when former Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok decided to turn their joint ambition to make music that is “raw, real, and straight from our hearts” into a new band and a fully-fledged studio outing.
The result was their acclaimed self-titled debut, released in 2015, which charted Top 10 in Canada and entered the Billboard U.S. Rock Albums chart at #2. The album was driven by the Top 10 radio tracks “Better Place” and “Let Me Live My Life,” as well as the high-concept video to the featured track “Fairy Tale.”
Collectively responsible for 28 Top 10 U.S. Rock Radio hits, including 17 #1’s — the demand was immediately there for Saint Asonia to take to the road. Following an inaugural main stage appearance at Rock on the Range in 2015, the band set off on U.S. amphitheater tours with Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed and will follow the release of “Flawed Design” with an extensive tour schedule which will be announced shortly.

SAINT ASONIA RELEASE BRAND NEW SONG “THE HUNTED” FEATURING GODSMACK’S SULLY ERNA — LISTEN!
U.S./CANADIAN OUTFIT FOUNDED BY CURRENT + FORMER MEMBERS OF STAIND + THREE DAYS GRACE
SECOND STUDIO ALBUM + SPINEFARM DEBUT “FLAWED DESIGN” DUE OUT THIS FALL
SAINT ASONIA — featuring vocalist Adam Gontier, guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist Cale Gontier, and drummer Sal Giancarelli — have just dropped “The Hunted,” the first single from their forthcoming second album and Spinefarm Records debut “Flawed Design,” due out this fall.
Listen to “The Hunted,” featuring Godsmack’s Sully Erna HERE and HERE.
“‘The Hunted’ is a song about struggling to find your place in life,” Gontier said. “It’s a solid representation of the direction Saint Asonia is headed. I’m excited to share this with the world. And it’s an awesome bonus having Sully from Godsmack guesting on it.”
Mushok concurs, “I’m very excited for everyone to get a taste of what the new Saint Asonia album is going to sound like and I think that having ‘The Hunted’ as our first single is a great representation of where the band is going. It’s also a huge honor to have a longtime friend — Sully Erna, whose musicianship I’ve admired for years — be a guest on this song.”
Right from the start, Saint Asonia – named Loudwire’s Best New Artist of 2015 – have been fueled by a single vision: to put music and emotion first and to deliver recordings that aren’t overly produced or messed around with. It’s a vision that’s reflected in the very name of the band, which is derived, with a grin, from the desire to block out distraction and focus on the purely creative. “Asonia” is the term for “tone deafness” and it’s a vision that very much underpins the latest studio recordings.
Saint Asonia sparked into life four years ago when former Three Days Grace frontman Gontier and Staind guitarist/founding member Mike Mushok (also an important part of the Newsted setup in 2013) decided to turn their joint ambition to make music that is “raw, real, and straight from our hearts” into a new band and a fully-fledged studio outing.
Given the pedigree and profile of the musicians involved —they are collectively responsible for 28 Top 10 U.S. Rock Radio hits, including 17 #1s — the demand was immediately there for Saint Asonia to take to the road. Following an inaugural main stage appearance at Rock on the Range in 2015, the band set off on U.S. amphitheater tours with Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed.
In Europe, they guested on an arena run with Mötley Crüe, visiting the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, and Finland, as well as playing several dates in Russia and Eastern Europe. As a consequence, Gontier has been back to the region for extensive solo acoustic shows.
With Adam’s cousin Cale Gontier of Canadian band Art of Dying on bass and Staind’s Sal Giancarelli on drums, the latest Saint Asonia lineup is now primed for a comprehensive live campaign in support of the forthcoming sophomore release; this will include key festivals and headline shows, both at home and abroad. With a new deal in place and a new chapter primed to unfold, the four musicians are keen to place as much emphasis on the international arena as continuing to build their success story at home.
“This new album is a giant step forward for us in many ways,” says the frontman. “Of course, there’s those elements that have always been present in the music, like the heavy riffs and the vulnerability within the lyrics. But there’s also a completely new element that takes things to a different level. Our goal is to raise the bar on every record, so we’re incorporating a lot of different sounds and instruments on this one. For me, this is the best stuff I’ve written since 2005. I guess you’ll have to hear it to judge for yourself!”

AND A STOP IN NEW YORK CITY

SULLY ERNA of GODSMACK has announced the creation of The Scars Foundation to support ongoing mental health struggles facing so many. The foundation’s mission statement is as follows:
The Scars Foundation has been established by Sully Erna and the rock band Godsmack to help raise awareness of the mental health issues that so many are faced with today.

With the rise of suicides, bullying, addiction, abuse and so many other challenges, The Scars Foundation is dedicated to providing resources and tools to educate and empower people on a global level that struggle with these burdens.
For more information, please click http://www.godsmack.com/scarsfoundation.
“Scars come in all forms,” SULLY explains about the foundation. “They are physical and emotional. They’re traumatizing and make us fear what people may think of us. But we are ALL imperfect in some way. That’s what makes us perfect and unique! EVERYONE has something that makes him or her insecure or embarrassed. But instead of hiding them or internalizing them, own them and show them off to the world! Let them empower you so you can be a voice for everyone who can’t be. If we ALL wear our scars loudly and proudly, others will follow.”

“Under Your Scars” is the latest single from the band’s current album, WHEN LEGENDS RISE. The song was the #1 most added at radio last week (April 2). Every donation to The Scars Foundation will include a download of the band’s “Under Your Scars” single.
“Under Your Scars” follows “When Legends Rise,” the second #1 from the album, and last year’s #1 “Bulletproof,” which was nominated for “Rock Song of the Year” for the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards and was also the most-played song at rock radio in 2018.

WHEN LEGENDS RISE marks the band’s seventh studio album and their first in four years. The critically acclaimed 11-song collection entered the Billboard Top 200 album chart in the top ten (#8), with four #1 placements on other charts: Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Music Albums, Top Independent Albums and Top Alternative Albums. WHEN LEGENDS RISE is available on CD, LP and Digital; purchase or stream it here. The album finds the guys doubling down on their combination of tightly wound riffs, rhythmic fury, naked emotions and pushed-to-the-edge vocals, all fired up with melodic precision and tight songcraft.
Next month, GODSMACKSully Erna [vocals, guitar], Tony Rombola [guitar], Robbie Merrill [bass], and Shannon Larkin [drums]–return to the road in the U.S. where they’ll headline a run of shows with special guests VOLBEAT, along with some co-headlining shows with them in Canada. The band have added nine additional shows to the previously announced shows, including a July 23 stop at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Tickets for the previously announced shows are on sale now.

About GODSMACK:
Godsmack stand strong as 21st century hard rock titans. With an unbreakable spirit and diehard work ethic evocative of their hometown, the Boston quartet fought hard to secure a place in music history since first smashing their way on to the scene in 1998. To date, they’ve notched a staggering ten #1 singles at mainstream rock radio, including “Awake,” “Straight Out of Line,” “Cryin’ Like A Bitch,” and “I Stand Alone.” Moreover, they’ve enjoyed 24 Top 10 hits at the format-the most of any act since February 1999-as well as four Grammy nominations, and were winners of The Billboard Music Awards Rock Artists of the Year in 2001. They still stand alone.
