After cementing its title as America’s Biggest Rock Festival with a record-breaking attendance of over 170,000 in 2022, Louder Than Life returns bigger and better than ever September 21, 22, 23 & 24, 2023 to Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY.

One of the top music events of the year, Louder Than Life will feature performances from a spectacular list of rock artists including: Foo Fighters, Green Day (making their DWP festival debut), Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, Pantera, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Turnstile, Rancid, Falling In Reverse, 311, Pierce The Veil, Run The Jewels, Corey Taylor, Coheed and Cambria, Royal Blood, Parkway Drive, Bad Omens, BABYMETAL and many more.

Louder Than Life is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents and features performances from more than 100 music acts on five stages, along with Louisville’s finest spirits and top local cuisine. The 2022 festival was named Consequence’s Festival Of The Year.

The West Coast’s Biggest Rock Festival, Aftershock, grows even more in 2023 with its most packed lineup yet offering 95-plus bands over four full days, led by headliners Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn. The destination event, held at Discovery Park in Sacramento, CA on October 5-8, builds on last year’s record-setting success including an audience of 160,000 music fans and bringing in nearly $30 million to the region.

In addition to the must-see headliners, the weekend’s curated lineup of rock and metal heavyweights also includes Godsmack, Pantera, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Rancid, Turnstile, 311, The Cult, AFI, I Prevail, Dance Gavin Dance and many more. Returning as host for the second year is Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin.

One of the largest events to be held in Sacramento, California in two years, Aftershock returned to Discovery Park October 7-10 with a memorable four-day weekend for the first time in the event’s history, welcoming a record-setting attendance of 145,000 fans and retaining its title of the West Coast’s Biggest Rock Festival.

Aftershock has also announced dates for 2022, to be held the weekend of October 6-9, once again returning to Discovery Park. Passes are available now for just $10 down for a limited time at https://aftershock2022.frontgatetickets.com.

Producer Danny Wimmer Presents is pleased to report that almost 99% of festivalgoers this year arrived with proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test – and others were able to receive convenient rapid testing onsite in order to access the event without delay.

Metal giants Metallica continued their partnership with DWP at Aftershock, delivering an incredible two unique sets over two nights including hits from the band’s 40-year catalogue on Friday, October 8 as well as playing Metallica (The Black Album) in full from back to front in honor of the record’s 30^th anniversary.

Other memorable moments at the 9^th edition of Aftershock included a headlining appearance from The Original Misfits on Saturday, October 9 who helped usher in the Halloween season with a rousing horror-punk performance as well as a Thursday closing set from Cypress Hill. Earlier that day, the festival offered a not-to-be-missed Bay Area thrash metal showdown with Testament, Exodus (reuniting with drummer Tom Hunting) and Death Angel providing an apt preview for fellow locals, Metallica. A recently reunited Mudvayne also appeared on Saturday, October 9.

Some sets also featured guest stars such as Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo) appearing with his dad’s former band Suicidal Tendencies; Rise Against’s Tim McIlrath joining Pennywise to cover Minor Threat; and Dropkick Murphys on stage with Rancid.

Aftershock also honed in on rising talent including the first major festival appearance for Mammoth WVH, the project of Wolfgang Van Halen, son of the late Eddie Van Halen.

East Bay Express and Mercury News said Aftershock was “shaping up to be a tremendously successful festival,” adding, “While some festivals try to be everything to everybody, booking a diverse lineup that will hopefully appeal to the broadest amount of listeners, Aftershock goes the other direction and keeps a tight focus on all things heavy — mostly metal and hard rock, sprinkled with a bit of punk and hip-hop. In that sense, it’s a niche festival, but one that is also able to draw 30,000-plus fans per day. It’s become the place to be for headbangers over the years, annually offering up the best that these heavy music genres have to offer.”

As well, Sacramento Bee said, “The return of the Aftershock Festival following a 2020 hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the country’s most anticipated hard rock events this year. With a combined attendance of about 150,000 from the festival’s opening night on Thursday to a show closing set from Metallica on Sunday, Aftershock is also music to the ears of civic and tourism officials who are eager for a much needed economic boost.”

The event (sold out for the fifth consecutive year) is estimated to have brought in $30 million to the local economy with 75% of the attendees traveling to Aftershock from outside the region, according to Mike Testa, CEO of Visit Sacramento.

In addition to the 60 music acts over 4 days, with performances on three stages, festivalgoers were able to enjoy some of the best food and drinks that the Sacramento area has to offer, as well as various sponsor activations and experiences.

As the music industry looks to bring live events back to eager fans in 2021, leading independent live entertainment producer and promoter Danny Wimmer Presents is excited to announce its upcoming festival calendar for the year. The event lineup includes the return of fan favorites Louder Than Life and Welcome To Rockville, alongside the previously announced Aftershock, and new to the DWP family, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival.

Louder Than Life, the largest rock festival in America, will take place September 23-26, 2021 at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky and will be adding a Thursday night celebration event to kick off the weekend. All current pass holders will receive admission to the newly added Thursday night kickoff celebration for free.

Welcome To Rockville will return with an expanded 4-day festival weekend that furthers its reputation as Florida’s biggest rock experience, and will move to a new weekend for 2021, November 11-14. Rockville will also have a new home, relocating to the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Due to the festival date change from May to November, current Welcome To Rockville ticketholders will have the opportunity to request a refund or use their passes for the upcoming November festival. All fans who defer their passes to Rockville 2021 will receive complimentary access to the newly added 4^th day.

Danny Wimmer Presents is also pleased to announce a new partnership formed with the creators of the fan-favorite Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Inkcarceration is scheduled for July 23-25 at the famous Ohio State Reformatory (aka “Shawshank State Prison” from The Shawshank Redemption) in Mansfield, Ohio.

Information on band lineups, ticket information and on sale dates for Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life and Welcome To Rockville 2021 will be coming this spring. In addition, Danny Wimmer Presents has partnered with Sixthman to conquer land and sea in 2022 with an immersive 5-day cruise and private island festival in Harvest Caye, Belize, from February 16 – 21, 2022. The previously announced Aftershock, the West Coast’s Biggest Rock Festival, which has sold out for the last five consecutive years, will be bigger and better than ever, taking place October 7-10 at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California. “Taking our festivals down last year was one of the most painful experiences our company has ever lived through,” explains Danny Wimmer, Founder of Danny Wimmer Presents. “And it wasn’t just painful for us, it was hard on the bands, fans, partners, cities and vendors. It has become clear to us that we will not be able to have our festivals this spring, and for a variety of reasons, it is not possible to produce all of our annual festivals in the window of Fall 2021, so we made the difficult decision to only produce Aftershock, Welcome To Rockville and Louder Than Life this year. These are our longest running and most geographically diverse festivals. Focusing on these three events, along with Inkcarceration Festival at the end of July gives as many fans as possible, from all over the country, the chance to rock again.”

Camp Anarchy: 3 Day Punk Rock Campout — a new camping, craft beer and punk music festival — will take over Legend Valley, just outside Columbus, OH, this spring, on Friday, May 31, Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2. Camp Anarchywill feature performances by The Offspring, Rancid, NOFX, Bad Religion, Pennywise, X, Suicidal Tendencies, Less Than Jake, Fear, and more, along with craft beer tastings (available for purchase), and a slew of attractions including a Dodgeball Arena, Fair Games, Flea’s Market Vendor Village, and much more. This one-of-a-kind destination event is the only punk rock campout in the country, and will host NOFX‘s first US performance in over one year.

John Reese, Camp Anarchy co-producer and founder of Synergy Global Entertainment (SGE), says Camp Anarchy is, “A punker’s dream…three days of the best bands and so much to do while camping under the stars in Ohio. What could be better?”

Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise says, “Super stoked to be taking part in the first ever Camp Anarchy music and camping fest next year!!! Looks like Legend Valley will become ground zero for some serious punk rock debauchery and musical mayhem. The Offspring, Rancid, NOFX, Bad Religion, Pennywise, X, Suicidal Tendencies, Less Than Jake, Fear? What the f*ck? Does the lineup get better? Craft beer tastings, shit to buy, shit to eat, booze to drink, and camping chaos till all hours? There is no question that this is gonna be a f*cking crazy good three days!!! Not to mention, this will be NOFX‘s first performance in America in over a year…who the f*ck is gonna miss that shit?! I’m not!! See you in the pit, f*ckers! That’s where I’ll be!!”

CRAFT BEER TASTING AREA: What most of you are here for…a massive craft beer sampling area offering tastings from local and national breweries with more than 150 craft beers to choose from. Columbus has quietly become a craft beer mecca, at the heart of a state that now boasts over 200 craft breweries producing more than 1.3 million barrels of beer annually. (Must have a Tasting Pass and be 21+)
THE DODGEBALL ARENA: Hosting Fans Against the Bands dodgeball games…don’t forget your sweatbands for these epic battles.
FAIR GAMES: This is where the freaks are unleashed. Come play games of chance to win a teddy bear that will probably end up in a box in your garage, or watch a guy pierce his eyeball. THE unFAIR boasts our spin on our summer camp favorites, like Postcards From The Edge where you can get a collector’s postcard and send it out from camp to your friends and family, and big ass games.
FLEA’S MARKET VENDOR VILLAGE: Full of stuff you probably don’t need but know you will want.
OVERSIZED GAMES: Beer Pong, Jenga, Cornhole & more.

Attendees 21+ with festival tickets can purchase a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday craft beer Tasting Pass in advance for only $17.50 (plus fees). The Tasting Pass will allow entry into the Craft Beer Tasting Area, where during the tasting, attendees can enjoy 15 3 oz. craft beer tastes, choosing from over 150 craft beers from dozens of top breweries. Some of the participating breweries include BrewDog, Rhinegeist, Great Lakes, Fat Head’s, Revolution Brewing, plus many more local and national breweries.

General Admission tickets, VIP ticket packages, and camping options for Camp Anarchy will be available for purchase Friday, December 14 at 10:00 AM ET, starting at the following prices (plus fees). Visit www.CampAnarchyFest.com for details on all ticket and camping packages.

General Admission tickets are $49.50 (plus fees) for Single Day and $99.50 (plus fees) for Weekend. A limited number VIP packages will also be available for purchase, with Single Day starting at $129.50 (plus fees) and Weekend VIP (which includes a Tasting Pass) starting at $279 (plus fees). VIP tickets include one VIP admission ticket to Camp Anarchy, a dedicated VIP entry lane into the venue, one hour early entry for craft beer tastings (for those 21+) starting at 12:00 PM, and one tasting pass, good for up to 20 tastings. VIP ticket holders also receive access into the VIP Lounge which includes:

Weekend (Friday — Monday) camping add ons start at $129.50 (plus fees) for Tent Camping (for up to 4 people) and $199.50 (plus fees) for dry RV Camping (for up to 4 people). All camping options are for Friday, May 31 through Monday, June 3 and do not include admission to the festival unless otherwise noted. (Festival tickets must be purchased prior to camping passes.)

Legend Valley is a historic outdoor concert venue and campground that has been hosting music festivals and athletic events since the 1970s, including the award-winning four day camping festival Lost Lands. Legend Valley is located at 7585 Kindle Rd, just off I-170 on Route 13 in Thornville, Ohio. The venue is located about 25 miles east of downtown Columbus, OH, just a short drive from many parts of the Midwest. John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is also easily accessible for those traveling from other parts of the U.S. and the world.
