Welcome To Rockville kicks off the Danny Wimmer Presents festival season this week with its biggest year in the festivals 10+ year history, featuring a new 5th stage and 50 more bands added this year. BLACKENED Burger Bar: DWP has announced the debut of the Metal Burger Box at the BLACKENED Burger Bar, exclusively at Welcome To Rockville. Crafted in collaboration with BLACKENED Whiskey, renowned celebrity Chef Chris Santos, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Metallica, and Welcome To Rockville, the BLACKENED Burger Bar promises to be an extraordinary fusion of exceptional spirits, culinary innovation, and the raw energy of rock music. Featuring signature burgers that embody the spirit of rock and roll, the BLACKENED Burger Bar invites fans to embark on a culinary journey unlike any other. Each Metal Burger Box is accompanied by exclusive surprises and presented in custom packaging designed to be cherished long after the last bite. Just Add Milk Cereal Bar: Starting Thursday morning, Welcome To Rockville campers will be able to mix and match the cereals they grew up on with fresh, ice-cold Florida milk or indulge in a fresh scoop of ice cream while vintage TVs blast out Saturday morning cartoons, making it a pit stop for nostalgia and flavor-packed fun. The activation is located within the festival campgrounds by the General Store and Pit Stop #1. Milk and ice cream will be provided by Florida Dairy Farmers. All proceeds will go to Second Harvest Food Bank, who is also a beneficiary of the post-festival food donations via Musically Fed.

“Florida Dairy Farmers is proud to partner with Welcome To Rockville to fuel campers with local, delicious, and nutritious milk and ice cream at the Just Add Milk Cereal Bar. All proceeds will go to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to help feed kids, families, and seniors who are experiencing hunger in our community. Welcome To Rockville 2024 Expands to 5 Stages and 150 Bands Led By Foo Fighters, Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit first appeared on Game On Media.

The 5th annual Blue Ridge Rock Festival took place in Alton, Virginia on September 8 – 11, 2022. Day 2 was a hot one, with fans up early to bake in the sun and bask in the sweet and savory sounds of a wide variety of artists. The day started at high noon with the bluesy southern chill of Blacktop Mojo, and ended with the frantic aggression of Mudvayne.

As the fans learned the day before, difficult choices had to be made, with stellar acts performing on either end of the massive site. The two side-by-side main stages, sponsored by Monster Energy and ZYN, definitely had enough star power to hold down their end of the festival.

Blacktop Mojo, Zero 9:36, Saving Abel, Buckcherry, Candlebox, Badflower, Sevendust, Underoath, Theory Of A Deadman, Halestorm, Gojira, A Day To Remember and Mudvayne delivered one punch after another.

If that wasn’t enough for you, things got even heavier on the opposite end of the event. The URW stage and Fan-Driven stage hit even harder than the main stages.

Alice Cooper, Down, Hatebreed, Bad Omens, Memphis May Fire, In Flames, All That Remains, Whitechapel, Slaughter To Prevail, Fit For An Autopsy and Insane Clown Posse gave it all, and could have made a fine festival lineup on their own. There really still are too many stages and too many heavy hitters at BRRF. It is impossible to catch everyone that you want to see.

Several times throughout the day, the bands on stage stopped to show, in order to alert security that a fan was down and needed help. Kevin Martin was the first to stop mid-song, and urgently direct security and medical personnel to get out into the pits to aid a concertgoer. Showing how classy and professional they are, Martin directed the band to pick up the song at the guitar solo, once the injured patron was safely taken away for medical attention.

Tickets and campsites are already selling well for next year, proving that die hard metal fans will endure anything to experience the power of live music, and the feeling of connecting with other people who are just as mental about metal as they are. Welcome To Rockville 2021 wrapped up on Sunday November 14, 2021 at Daytona International Speedway.

Florida legends Lynyrd Skynyrd played their final “hometown” show after more than 50 years on the road.

Metallica played a completely different set list than they had played on Friday.

Metallica played the entire “Black Album” in reverse order as the center of their 2 hour set.

2021 is the 30th anniversary of their all-time classic self-titled album.

Anthrax has been playing with Metallica for 4 decades and they are still one of the best live bands around. Joey Belladonna and Scott Ian thanked the fans for the continued support and reminded them to have fun while “Caught In A Mosh”.

Mudvayne completed their special festival run of reunion shows, playing everything their fans wanted to hear.

Alien Weaponry is the top up-and-coming metal band, hailing from New Zealand and incorporating the indigenous Māori culture and language into their songs.

Mastodon continues to excel as a powerful live band.

Sunday was definitely the heaviest day of the festival, with Code Orange leading the way on the Rockvillian stage.

Goodbye June warmed up the crowd, including crowd-surfing Santa, with their soulful blues under the early warm sunshine.

Jelly Roll put on an emotional show, blending rock, country and hip-hop with a DJ and a full band.

Fire From The Gods brought their unique style of rock, with AJ Channer inspiring the crowd with his lyrics and his reminder to ignore politics and religion, and instead look to your own heart and mind for guidance.

An incredible music lineup has been announced for the sixth Louder Than Life, September 23-26, 2021 at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Metallica (two nights / two unique sets), Nine Inch Nails and KORN will headline the largest rock festival in America, which will also feature performances from Judas Priest, Snoop Dogg, Jane’s Addiction, Staind, Rise Against, Mudvayne, Cypress Hill, Machine Gun Kelly, Anthrax, Gojira, Ghostemane, Seether, Pennywise, Beartooth, The Distillers, Killswitch Engage and many more.

“DWP has always considered Louisville home, so to be able to bring America’s Biggest Rock Festival back in 2021 means everything to us. After a year filled with challenge after challenge, we worked incredibly hard to curate a lineup worth the wait for our fans,” says Danny Wimmer, founder of Danny Wimmer Presents. “Weather got in the way of Nine Inch Nails in 2018, the pandemic derailed our plans for two big Metallica sets in 2020 – so to have them both back for 2021, along with KORN and the rest of this incredible lineup over four days, that’s the kind of ‘new normal’ that we’re all looking forward to.”

Louder Than Life will feature nearly 70 music acts over 4 days, with performances on three stages, along with award-winning bourbons, whiskey, spirits, craft beer, and the best food Louisville has to offer. Festival attendees will enjoy a variety of onsite food and beverage experiences, as well as sponsor activations that celebrate the bourbon culture and culinary heritage of this unique American city.

Single day and weekend general admission and VIP passes for Louder Than Life are on sale now. Festivalgoers are encouraged to buy early and save, since pass prices will increase in the coming weeks. A limited number of specially priced tickets for military personnel are on sale now via GovX. A limited number of Weekend Camping Packages are available for both car + tent and RVs. Admission to the festival is not included in Weekend Camping Packages and must be purchased separately.

VIP pass perks include (but are not limited to) access to all general admission areas in the festival grounds, as well as a dedicated festival entrance, access to a shaded “hang area” with dedicated bars, live audio/video streams of main stages, access to a front-of-stage VIP viewing area, dedicated merch tent, premium dedicated food and drink (for purchase), air-conditioned restrooms and a commemorative laminate.

Top Shelf VIP is Presented by Angel’s Envy and passes will include all the above plus an air-conditioned tent, front-of-stage viewing for the right main stage, additional viewing deck, all-inclusive premium drinks and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.

Louder Than Life is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, one of the largest independent producers of destination music festivals in America. Since debuting in 2014, Louder Than Life continues to develop and grow. In 2019, Louder Than Life welcomed more than 128,000 fans over three days, earning its spot as the largest rock festival in America. For 2021, festival organizers added a fourth day, with the festival kicking off on Thursday.

Over the coming months, Danny Wimmer Presents will be working with local officials to make sure the festival conforms to then-current social distancing protocols.
