After record-breaking attendance of over 170,000 music fans over four days in 2023, Welcome To Rockville returns to Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida to kick off the festival season bigger and better than ever May 9-12, 2024. Festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents is excited to announce the addition of a 5^th music stage and 50 additional bands, bringing the total music lineup to an impressive 150 bands for Welcome To Rockville 2024.

The initial music lineup for the 13^th year of Welcome To Rockville is the festival’s most powerful collection of artists yet and features an array of talent not-to-be-missed including Foo Fighters, Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, Jelly Roll, Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Queens of the Stone Age, Judas Priest, Greta Van Fleet, Evanescence, Falling In Reverse, A Day To Remember, Breaking Benjamin, Bad Omens, The Offspring, Mudvayne, Koe Wetzel, Stone Temple Pilots, Primus, Cypress Hill, Sum 41, a rare appearance by Mr. Bungle, and many others. Camping offers the quickest access to the stages and comes with in and out festival privileges. The festival campgrounds are open Wednesday, May 8 through Monday, May 13. Details for the official Welcome To Rockville pre-party for campers and the 2024 camping theme will be announced early next year. RV and tent camping passes are on sale now as an add-on to festival pass purchases. Driver/Owner Lot and Red RV camping passes are sold out, but a waitlist is available. Welcome To Rockville 2024 Expands to 5 Stages and 150 Bands Led By Foo Fighters, Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit first appeared on Game On Media.

Guitar virtuoso Nita Strauss provided direct support for Wolfgang Van Halen and his band Mammoth WVH inside the House of Blues at Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida on November 22, 2023. Strauss featured songs from her new album, “The Call of the Void”.

Nita Strauss has been performing with Alice Cooper for the past decade, while maintaining a solo career as well. Her 2018 album “Controlled Chaos” contained all full band instrumentals. Her latest effort features several guest vocalists, including Alissa White-Gluz, Lzzy Hale, Dorothy, Lilith Czar, Chris Motionless, David Draiman, Anders Friden and Alice Cooper.

The show opened with 5 blistering instrumental numbers, culminating in a drum solo by Nita’s drummer and fiance Josh Villalta. Bassist Christopher Dean, guitarist Johnny Young and keyboardist Katt Scarlett combined to provide a driving wave of metal sounds, which Strauss surfed with precision and joy. Her signature Ibanez guitar sang, cried and screamed at every movement of her magical fingers.

The second half of the set featured songs from “The Call of the Wild”. Deadlands vocalist Kasey Karlsen stepped in to deliver the vocals recorded by some of the icons listed above. She did an incredible job on all of the songs, elevating the overall show.

Nita took advantage of the venue being located at Disney Springs, and took the stage wearing Minnie Mouse ears. That is a very common sight in Orlando, but not as often seen on a rock and roll stage. Her choice and her sly smile immediately set the tone for an engaging performance.

Mammoth WVH filled the House of Blues at Downtown Disney in Orlando, Florida on November 22, 2023. The band, led by Wolfgang Van Halen, is touring in support of their outstanding second album, “Mammoth II”. Guitar virtuoso Nita Strauss warmed up the crowd, in support of her new album, “The Call of the Void”.

This is the first time Mammoth WVH were playing as a headlining act, which allowed them all the time they needed to play almost all of the great songs found on their 2 albums. While Wolfgang performs all instruments and vocals on the recordings, his talented band has been playing live with him for 3 years, and they have developed into a very tight and entertaining group.

The night was a sort of homecoming for drummer Garrett Whitlock, who had played alongside Wolfie in Orlando legend Mark Tremonti’s solo band. Bassist Ronnie Ficarro and guitarists Frank Sidoris and Jon Jourdan are dynamic stage performers, and all 3 are excellent vocalists. A Mammoth WVH show is a pleasure to witness, whether you are familiar with the songs or not.

This night was extra special, as a live music video was filmed during the performance of the next single “Right?”. If you were present, you just might catch yourself rocking along when the video is released.

The vibe felt like a festival setup, with plenty of food and drink options available. The Stone Pony itself was open, including its bars and bathrooms, with local bands playing inside both before and after the main show.

Alter Bridge mixed up the setlist a bit compared to earlier this year. Mark Tremonti took lead vocals on the classic “Burn It Down”, just after delivering stellar harmony vocals on “Sin After Sin”, which is perhaps the strongest track from their latest epic album “Pawns & Kings”. Spoiler alert: full set list below.

Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH got the night started properly, showcasing several songs from their brand new album “Mammoth II”. Garrett Whitlock, Frank Sidoris, Jon Jourdan and Ronnie Ficarro were dynamic and entertaining. Wolfgang continues to grow as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter. His future is quite bright.

Sevendust played one of the more unique shows of their career. Guitarist John Connolly was forced to miss the show for the first time in the history of the band, after getting exposed to Covid while training for the New York City marathon (as part of Mark Tremonti’s Take A Chance For Charity initiative), and put himself in isolation for a few days. Kudos to Clint Lowery for holding things down throughout yet another magical, emotional performance.

Finally, Scott Phillips, Brian Marshall, Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy emerged, as the sun set behind them, and a blood moon rose over the Atlantic Ocean. Alter Bridge has never played a bad show, but this night felt extra special. Perhaps it was the full moon, or the cool ocean breeze giving the northeast a break in the middle of a sweltering hot summer, or the awesome mood established by Sevendust and Mammoth WVH. Whatever it was, it even had Myles commenting that he was having so much fun vibing with the crowd, he was concerned that his guitar playing might get sloppy. That was clearly not going to happen, and his skills were evident during his acoustic performance of “Watch Over You” and his dramatic introduction to “Cry of Achilles”.

Once upon a time, Garrett Whitlock and Wolfgang Van Halen were the rhythm section for one of Mark Tremonti’s projects, Tremonti. It was great to see them all on the same stage, showcasing their incredible skills.

Alter Bridge has begun their 2023 North American “Pawns & Kings” Tour. The first show took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida on January 25, 2023. Red and Mammoth WVH featuring Wolfgang Van Halen were the supporting acts.

The Events Center at the Hard Rock Tampa is a perfect venue for concerts. The floor section was open for standing, and there are 4 sets of bleacher seating behind that. That allows every attendee to choose their preferred viewing location.

The place was packed, and fans could be heard singing along to all of their favorites. Alter Bridge also played a good selection of new songs from their 7th album. Every song went over well.

Despite having 2 opening acts, Alter Bridge still performed a full headlining set, playing for 1 hour and 45 minutes. They got 17 songs in, covering their entire 2 decades of brilliance. Spoiler alert: full set list below.

Red opened the night with an intense set, warming up with the audience with their passionate performance. Michael Barnes, Anthony Armstrong and Randy Armstrong have been together for 20 years and it shows.

Alter Bridge will be back on North American concert stages this winter. These musicians return with a quiet dedication to writing meaningful songs and performing unforgettable shows (and they’ve delivered both with almost alarming consistency). Still, the influential quartet—Myles Kennedy [vocals, guitar], Mark Tremonti [guitar, vocals], Brian Marshall [bass], and Scott Phillips [drums]—ascend to yet another level on 2022’s Pawns & Kings [Napalm Records]. It is the culmination of almost two decades together soaked in blood, sweat, tears, and the triumph earned through never giving up. The Young Guns Tour is in support of both artist’s self-titled debut albums; Mammoth WVH and Dirty Honey, both released last year. Both bands saw their debut singles – Dirty Honey’s “When I’m Gone” and Mammoth WVH’s “Distance”  – occupy the #1 position on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. In addition, both bands’ debut albums made quite impressive bows; Mammoth WVH debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart, and Dirty Honey – the band, totally independent with no label affiliation – claimed the #2 position on that chart.

Welcome To Rockville will feature more than 75 music acts over four days, with performances on four stages, along with award-winning spirits, craft beer, partner activations and the best food Daytona Beach has to offer.

Single day and weekend general admission and VIP passes for Welcome To Rockville are on sale now. Festivalgoers are encouraged to buy early and save as pass prices increase in throughout the coming months based on level quantities.  A limited number of specially priced tickets for military personnel are on sale now via GovX.

Welcome To Rockville campers get the ultimate experience, spending five days on the festival field right in the middle of all the action and with the quickest access to all the stages. Amenities include indoor restrooms and showers, in and out privileges, and a general store for supplies. A limited number of Weekend Camping Packages are available for both car and tent and RVs. Admission to the festival is not included in Weekend Camping Packages and must be purchased separately.

Welcome To Rockville VIP pass holders will receive a commemorative VIP laminate and wristband, dedicated entrance lanes into the festival, entrance into VIP areas, and access to dedicated viewing areas throughout the festival. The VIP section boasts shaded hang areas with dedicated bars, comfortable furniture, audio and video streams of the main stages, a dedicated merchandise stand, dedicated locker rental with charging capabilities, air conditioned and flushable restrooms, and premium food and drink offerings (for additional purchase).

The Daytona Owners Club VIP option is new in 2022. As a Welcome To Rockville “owner,” those choosing this pass option will truly be living like a ROCK STAR. In addition to being a festival VIP, Daytona Owners Club pass-holders will also receive exclusive access to an air-conditioned lounge with live audio and video of the main stages, a shaded viewing deck, unlimited complimentary drinks at dedicated bars throughout the Owners Club, complimentary hors d’oeuvres during lunch and dinner hours, dedicated WiFi, access to a main stage viewing area, owner locker rental with charging capabilities, dedicated air-conditioned, flushable bathrooms and concierge staff.  Current pass holders will have first rights to sign up for the waitlist, which is open now.  The Daytona Owners Club will go on sale to the public after the exclusive pass holder pre-sale, which is happening the week of December 13.

Louder Than Life will feature nearly 70 music acts over 4 days, with performances on three stages, along with award-winning bourbons, whiskey, spirits, craft beer, and the best food Louisville has to offer. Festival attendees will enjoy a variety of onsite food and beverage experiences, as well as sponsor activations that celebrate the bourbon culture and culinary heritage of this unique American city.

Single day and weekend general admission and VIP passes for Louder Than Life are on sale now. Festivalgoers are encouraged to buy early and save, since pass prices will increase in the coming weeks. A limited number of specially priced tickets for military personnel are on sale now via GovX.
