Gibson and Guitars For Vets team up to play it forward and raise funds to support U.S. military veterans on Veteran’s Day.

NASHVILLE, TN (November 11, 2020) Gibson Gives–the charitable arm of Gibson guitars, the iconic American instrument brand–and Guitars For Vets have announced the second annual ROCK TO REMEMBER, virtual concert will stream live on Veteran’s Day, today, Thursday, November 11, at 7:00p CT/8L00p ET/5:00p PT via:https://guitars4vets.org/rock-to-remember/.

ROCK TO REMEMBER will be hosted by blues firebrand Jared James Nichols and feature performances from a diverse group of artists including Tommy Emmanuel, Lzzy Hale and Joe, Joey Belladonna, Frank Hannon of Tesla, Jimmy Vivino and Kat Dyson, Meghan Lindsey and Tyler Cain, Cassadee Pope, Daughtry, Nelson, Tyler Connolly, Hannah Dasher, Clayton Anderson, Laine Hardy, Eric Paslay, Kapali Long, Francisco Martin, and host Jared James Nichols. Additionally, U.S. military veterans David Cox, Jesse Tyler Frewerd, and Scotty Hastings who are graduates of the Guitars For Vets program will perform their original songs. These musicians join Gibson Gives and Guitars For Vets to raise funds to provide music programs for returning U.S. military veterans afflicted with PTSD. “Guitars for Vets has provided over 5,000 guitars and 50,000 lessons to U.S. Military Veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD),” adds Eric Weinstein, Executive Director, Guitars for Vets. “Our 500 volunteers throughout the nation are dedicated to bringing this program to every Veteran that seeks our support. Guitars For Vets (G4V) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports U.S. military veterans struggling with the challenges of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by providing them with free guitars and both one on one and group lessons. To date, Guitars for Vets and its nearly 500 volunteers have gifted more than 5,000 new guitars and 50,000 music lessons to those that have endured the wounds of war. All of the instruments and accessories are provided free of charge to the Veterans in the program, but the cost must be met through donations. Guitars for Vets intends to raise $100,000 through the Rock To Remember event. Grammy Award-winning rock band Halestorm have announced the #ROADIESTRONG support campaign aimed at providing essential financial assistance to road crews all over the world who make live music possible. Under the newly launched initiative, fans can purchase #ROADIESTRONG merchandise and make donations, with all proceeds going to Live Nation’s Crew Nation — a global relief fund for live music crews.

Halestorm commented on the significance of #ROADIESTRONG, expressing, “Roadies are more than a crew, they are the beating heart of the show. They are the soldiers on the front lines.
