The Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala – the most important night in metal – is now available exclusively on Amazon Prime TV and can be streamed on Amazon Fire, ROKU, Apple TV and Comcast Xfinity cable TV via the Amazon Prime Video app by its 150 million subscribers.

The program features an overview with features of the 2020 Metal Hall of Fame including inductions, tributes and jams. Watch heavy metal legends Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Geoff Tate, Don Dokken, Chris Poland, Stephen Pearcy, Graham Bonnet, Metal Church, legendary music promoter Jack Orbin and Prong as they are inducted into the Hall and amazing performances including Chris Poland, Riot Act (featuring members of Riot), and an epic jam featuring Steve Vai, Geoff Tate, Joe Satriani, Bjorn Englen, Chris Poland, and Pat Gesualdo. Modern Drummer magazine also joined forces with the Metal Hall of Fame to present the only official tribute to late Rush drummer Neil Peart.

The event was hosted by noted television and radio personality Eddie Trunk, and co-hosted by Whiskey A Go-Go Ultimate Jam Night /Almost Fama Show host Jes Fama.

“Binary,” the final video in melodic metal band RAVENSCRY’s weekly series of lyric videos leading up to the release of the upcoming album 100, is available today.
“Binary,” the thrashiest song from 100, focuses on the will to cull together all parts of one’s personality and find one’s true self, without outside influence or the desire to feel accepted by society.
“‘Binary” describes the game we have to play every day with our mind and ego,” explains vocalist Giulia Stefani. “It’s a research into one’s true identity. In these times, thousands of eyes are upon us, judging our lives and creating false images of ourselves. Sometimes this deception brings us to a sort of inner-mind revolution, so we change our perspective and listen to our real voice – one that whispers beyond the human ego.”

RAVENSCRY has already released three lyric videos in the series:
- “The Entertainer” – a song inspired by entertainers who keep audiences smiling while silently struggling and fighting personal demons –
- “The Door Inside,” which examines the internal struggle to find balance between instinct and rationality.
- “The Gatekeeper” gives voice to the emotional charge found in the desire for personal revenge.
The lyric video series was preceded by an official video for the first single, “Maybe,” in March.
100 was produced by RAVENSCRY, mixed by Roberto Laghi (In Flames, Hardcore Superstar) and mastered by Dragan Tanasković (In Flames, Dark Tranquillity). The album features artwork by Spanish artist Mario “Aégis” S. Nevado.

The Metal Hall of Fame held their Annual Metal Hall of Fame Celebrity Charity Gala on January 15 at the Marriott Delta Garden Grove in Anaheim, CA. The world premiere of the film will air in early 2020, reaching more than 100 million subscribers.
Metal Hall of Fame President/CEO Pat Gesualdo says, “Having the World Premier for the 2020 Metal Hall of Fame Gala on Amazon Prime is a great honor. We are excited to share the most important night in metal with music fans everywhere, and to let so many people take part in our charity event.”
2020 Metal Hall of Fame inductees include Steve Vai, Geoff Tate (Queensryche), Don Dokken (Dokken), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, Alcatrazz), Joe Satriani, legendary metal promoter Jack Orbin of Stone City Attractions, Metal Church, Prong, and former Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland.
The gala featured various bands and inductees performing throughout the night. The event was hosted by noted television and radio personality Eddie Trunk, and co-hosted by Whiskey A Go-Go Ultimate Jam Night /Almost Fama Show host Jes Fama.
Proceeds from the event will benefit disabled children in various hospitals and community centers throughout the United States through free music programs and therapy services. Previous beneficiaries have included NYU Medical Center, NYC JCC, West Orange JCC, United States Department of Defense Military base in Virginia for disabled veterans and United States Department of State – West Bank region of Israel for special needs children.
The evening featured a red carpet walk, and a pre-ceremony gala in the courtyard featuring live performances, including Heaven Below, Attack of the Rising, Trauma and Kodiak. After the inductions and performances in the ballroom ended, the music did not stop. An all star band performed several legendary tracks from Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Metallica. The band included Brian Allen, Carl Bensley, Jason Bittner, Ira Black, Dewey Brag, Charlie Calv, Jason Christopher, Jack Frost, Keith St. John, Marc Lopes, Steve Smyth and Michael Spencer.
The ceremony included introductions and acceptance speeches by all inductees. There were also several live performances throughout the night, including Don Dokken, Prong, Chris Poland, Riot Act, Budderside and a very special rendition of the Black Sabbath classic “Paranoid” featuring Geoff Tate on vocals, Pat Gesualdo on drums, and three legendary lead guitarists trading off solo after solo after solo – Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Chris Poland.
