Bottom Line Up Front at Tight End

Tight end keeps losing bodies it cannot spare: David Njoku and Charlie Kolar went down in the same Chargers game, Dallas Goedert is out for Philadelphia with a knee sprain the team is deliberately keeping off injured reserve, and Brock Bowers’ practice week went the wrong direction — Limited, Limited, then a Friday DNP — even as his tag improved on paper from Out to Questionable.

Of the 59 tight ends on this board, 28 are out or doubtful, 3 carry a Questionable tag that decides itself on gameday, and 27 were listed at some point this week but finished it with no designation at all. One is still waiting on a tag that does not file until Saturday.

Below is every fantasy-relevant tight end across all 32 teams carrying an injury or an absence, with the final designation, what the injury actually is, how long that class of injury normally takes to heal, where each player sits on his team’s depth chart, and who stands to gain if he can’t go.

Who is on this report?

Charlie Kolar (LAC), Mason Taylor (NYJ), Chigoziem Okonkwo (WAS), Will Mallory (IND), Joe Royer (CLE), Caleb Lohner (DEN), John Michael Gyllenborg (KC), David Njoku (LAC), Carter Runyon (LV), Justin Shorter (LV), Cole Turner (MIA), Julian Hill (NE), Moliki Matavao (NO), Eli Stowers (PHI), Jameson Geers (ARI), Tip Reiman (ARI), DJ Rogers (DAL), Princeton Fant (DAL), Luke Musgrave (GB), McCallan Castles (GB), Thomas Yassmin (GB), Carson Towt (IND), Ben Yurosek (MIN), Bryson Nesbit (MIN), Grant Calcaterra (PHI), Robbie Ouzts (SEA), Jake Tonges (SF), Jaren Kanak (TEN), Colby Parkinson (LAR), Brock Bowers (LV), Eli Raridon (NE), Dallas Goedert (PHI), Trey McBride (ARI), Kyle Pitts Sr. (ATL), Jake Ferguson (DAL), Sam LaPorta (DET), Tucker Kraft (GB), Greg Dulcich (MIA), Juwan Johnson (NO), AJ Barner (SEA), George Kittle (SF), John Bates (WAS), Adam Trautman (DEN), Tyler Higbee (LAR), Theo Johnson (NYG), Kenyon Sadiq (NYJ), Darnell Washington (PIT), Daniel Bellinger (TEN), Darren Waller (CAR), Erick All Jr. (CIN), Luke Schoonmaker (DAL), Josh Whyle (GB), Davis Allen (LAR), Seydou Traore (MIA), Oscar Delp (NO), Ben Sinnott (WAS), Nick Muse (ATL), Ja’Tavion Sanders (CAR), Zach Ertz (PHI)

What changed since Week 2

Across the 59 tight ends here: 8 are new to the report, 8 improved or cleared outright, 2 got worse, and 41 are carrying the same status they had a week ago. The pattern worth internalizing: the Week 2 designations that resolved upward mostly stayed resolved, and the new names on this list came off the field in Week 2’s games, not out of the training room.

Waiver wire: who gains if these names sit

  • If Charlie Kolar (LAC) can’t go — Oronde Gadsden II (TE2 on the chart, now the de facto TE1) is the clear and direct beneficiary — with David Njoku on Reserve/Injured, Gadsden is the only established pass-catching tight end on the active roster. Hayden Rucci (TE3, ACT) takes the blocking and in-line snaps. Patrick Herbert and Evan Svoboda (both DEV) are the practice-squad elevation candidates.
  • If Mason Taylor (NYJ) can’t go — Kenyon Sadiq (TE2) is the direct beneficiary and steps into the starting receiving tight end role — he is the name to add. Jeremy Ruckert (TE3) takes the blocking and in-line work. Jelani Woods (TE4) fills the rotation. The Jets signed Cody Hardy to the practice squad on Sept 22 specifically to shore up this room. Beyond the tight end position, Garrett Wilson absorbs target share in an offense missing its TE1 and two of its receivers.
  • If Chigoziem Okonkwo (WAS) can’t go — John Bates is the TE1 in his absence and takes the starting snaps — he is a blocking-first tight end with a low target ceiling. Ben Sinnott (TE3) is the more interesting receiving option and would absorb the pass-game role. Colson Yankoff is TE4 and Jack Westover (DEV) is the practice-squad body.
  • If Joe Royer (CLE) can’t go — Harold Fannin Jr. (TE1), Blake Whiteheart (TE2) and Carsen Ryan (TE3) are all ahead of him and healthy, with practice-squad TE Messiah Swinson as further depth. His absence has no practical roster effect.
  • If David Njoku (LAC) can’t go — Oronde Gadsden II (now the de facto TE1) is the primary beneficiary and, with Charlie Kolar also ruled out, is the only established pass-catching tight end the Chargers have for Week 3. Hayden Rucci (TE3, ACT) covers the in-line blocking. Patrick Herbert and Evan Svoboda (both DEV) are the practice-squad elevation candidates.
  • If Moliki Matavao (NO) can’t go — Juwan Johnson (TE1), Noah Fant (TE2), Oscar Delp (TE3) and Treyton Welch (TE4) hold the active tight end roles in his absence, with Stone Smartt (DEV) as the practice-squad elevation candidate.
  • If Eli Stowers (PHI) can’t go — Already accounted for — Johnny Mundt is starting with Goedert out, E.J. Jenkins is TE2, and Zach Ertz was signed to the practice squad on Sept 22-24, 2026. Grant Calcaterra is also on the reserve list.
  • If Luke Musgrave (GB) can’t go — Green Bay is deep here and his absence costs them nothing. Tucker Kraft (TE1) is an every-down starter, Jonnu Smith (TE2) is a significant receiving piece, and Josh Whyle (TE3) and Mark Redman (TE4) are both active. Drake Dabney (DEV) is the practice-squad option.
  • If McCallan Castles (GB) can’t go — Already absorbed several times over — Tucker Kraft, Jonnu Smith, Josh Whyle and Mark Redman are all active, with Drake Dabney (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • If Thomas Yassmin (GB) can’t go — Already absorbed — Tucker Kraft, Jonnu Smith, Josh Whyle and Mark Redman are all active, with Drake Dabney (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • If Ben Yurosek (MIN) can’t go — Already absorbed — T.J. Hockenson (TE1), Josh Oliver (TE2) and Gavin Bartholomew (TE3) are all active, with Cam Grandy (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • If Bryson Nesbit (MIN) can’t go — Already absorbed — T.J. Hockenson, Josh Oliver and Gavin Bartholomew are all active, with Cam Grandy (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • If Grant Calcaterra (PHI) can’t go — Already accounted for — Johnny Mundt starts with Goedert out, E.J. Jenkins is TE2, and Zach Ertz (DEV) was signed to the practice squad in response to the Goedert injury.
  • If Colby Parkinson (LAR) can’t go — Tyler Higbee is next in line at tight end, with Terrance Ferguson also in the rotation
  • If Brock Bowers (LV) can’t go — Michael Mayer (TE2) is the primary beneficiary and has been the de facto TE1 for the first two weeks — he is the direct plug-in. Ian Thomas (TE3) picks up the blocking and rotational snaps. In the passing game, Tre Tucker (LWR1) and Jack Bech (SWR1) absorb the vacated target share from Kirk Cousins.
  • If Eli Raridon (NE) can’t go — Cameron Latu (TE3) moves up to the second tight end role and would take the two-tight-end-set snaps. Tanner Arkin (TE4) fills out the rotation. Tanner Conner (DEV) is a practice-squad elevation candidate. The fantasy-relevant beneficiary is Hunter Henry (TE1), whose route participation and target share both rise when the TE2 is unavailable.

How to read this report

These are final designations, not midweek practice notes, so they mean what they say. A few timing wrinkles apply this week:

  • Green Bay and Atlanta have already played. The Falcons beat the Packers 35-14 on Thursday night, September 24. For those two clubs Week 3 is settled — what matters is who got hurt in the game and what it means from Week 4 on.
  • The Eagles play at Chicago on Monday night, September 28, so Philadelphia does not file its final game-status report until Saturday. Any Eagles player listed here is Friday practice participation with the final designation still to come.
  • A player listed with no designation is good news. Several names below appear on an official report with a blank game-status column — that is a club formally declining to tag them, which is stronger than never having been listed at all.

Reserve-list designations — injured reserve, PUP, the Commissioner’s Exempt List, suspension — are roster transactions and are settled regardless of the day. A player placed on in-season injured reserve must miss a minimum of four games.

Ruled out or unavailable (28)

Officially ruled out, or on a reserve list. Plan around these.

Charlie Kolar — LAC (TE1 on the Ourlads chart ahead of Oronde Gadsden II and Hayden Rucci — but that ordering is now stale, because he is ruled out. He remains on the ACTIVE roster (ACT), not IR.)

  • Status: OUT — (a) FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by Los Angeles on the Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27, 1:00 p.m. ET game at the Buffalo Bills. Note that he is NOT on a reserve list: the Chargers reversed an initial plan to place him on Injured Reserve, so he keeps his active-roster spot while being ruled out for this one game.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. He did not practice at any point, which is expected in the week following surgery.
  • Injury: Fractured left forearm, surgically repaired. He was seen with his arm in a sling immediately after the Week 2 loss.
  • When it happened: Sustained in the Week 2 game on Sunday Sept 20, 2026. Surgery was performed on Monday Sept 21, 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A surgically plated forearm fracture (radius and/or ulna ORIF) in an NFL skill player is typically 4-8 weeks to return to play, and can be as short as 3-4 weeks for a linemen-style padded return when the plate is solid. The Chargers received a more favorable intraoperative prognosis than expected, which is why they reversed the IR plan — IR would have cost a mandatory four games.
  • Expected back to full health: The club is optimistic he returns before its Week 7 bye, which points to a return in the Week 5 to Week 6 window — roughly mid-October 2026. Full, unpadded, unrestricted health likely late October to early November 2026.
  • Next game: OUT. He will not play in the Sunday Sept 27, 1:00 p.m. ET game at the Buffalo Bills. This is a filed, final designation.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 at Buffalo: out, confirmed. Week 4: very likely out, still inside the post-op window. Week 5 and Week 6: this is the live return range given the club’s stated optimism about being back before the Week 7 bye. Avoiding IR is the meaningful tell — the Chargers would not have burned an active-roster spot on him for four-plus weeks if they expected a long absence.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Oronde Gadsden II (TE2 on the chart, now the de facto TE1) is the clear and direct beneficiary — with David Njoku on Reserve/Injured, Gadsden is the only established pass-catching tight end on the active roster. Hayden Rucci (TE3, ACT) takes the blocking and in-line snaps. Patrick Herbert and Evan Svoboda (both DEV) are the practice-squad elevation candidates.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW TO THIS REPORT. He does not appear on the Sept 18 baseline — he was healthy and active for Week 2. The forearm fracture, the Monday Sept 21 surgery, the initial IR plan and the subsequent reversal of that plan are all new since Sept 20.

Fantasy takeaway: Do not start him — he is ruled out. The actionable move in a 12-team full-PPR redraft is on the other side of this: ADD ORONDE GADSDEN II off waivers with real FAAB if he is still out there. Gadsden is the last man standing at tight end for a team that plays heavy two-tight-end personnel, and he now owns that route tree outright for at least two weeks. Kolar himself is a hold only in deep or TE-premium leagues given the pre-bye return target.

Mason Taylor — NYJ (TE1 — the Jets’ starting tight end and their No. 1 tight end target, ahead of Kenyon Sadiq, Jeremy Ruckert and Jelani Woods)

  • Status: OUT — (a) FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by the New York Jets on the Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27 game at the Detroit Lions. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed the designation Friday. He has also been described in reporting as “week-to-week.”
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. Three consecutive DNPs, the standard profile of a ruled-out player.
  • Injury: Thumb. The Jets have not specified which hand or published a grade or a structure. Reporting characterizes him as week-to-week, which for a thumb suggests something more than a simple sprain — a ligament injury or a small fracture would fit the description.
  • When it happened: Sunday Sept 20, 2026, Week 2 vs the Green Bay Packers. He finished that game but the thumb kept him out of every Week 3 practice.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Thumb injuries: a sprain costs 1-2 weeks and is often played through with a club or splint; a UCL tear (gamekeeper’s thumb) costs 4-6 weeks, or 6-8 with surgical repair; a fracture costs 4-8 weeks depending on location and whether it is fixed. For a tight end the critical function is catching, which a clubbed hand largely eliminates — teams are therefore more willing to sit a receiving tight end with a thumb injury than they would a blocker. The ‘week-to-week’ framing plus three DNPs points to at least a multi-week absence, likely in the 2-4 week range.
  • Expected back to full health: Realistic return window of Week 5 to Week 6 — roughly Oct 11 to Oct 18, 2026 — if this is a moderate sprain or UCL injury managed non-surgically. If it requires surgical repair, push to Week 8 or later, into November 2026. The Week 4 Wednesday practice report is the first checkpoint; watch also for a Reserve/Injured placement, which the Jets have NOT made as of Sept 25.
  • Next game: OUT — will not play. Week 3, Sunday Sept 27 at the Detroit Lions, Ford Field. Officially ruled out on the Jets’ final Friday report.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Sept 27) at Detroit: OUT, confirmed. Week 4: doubtful at best given the week-to-week framing and three DNPs. Weeks 5-6: the realistic return window. Escalation risk: if the Jets place him on Reserve/Injured, he is gone through at least Week 7. Given the Jets are already carrying Arian Smith, Omar Cooper Jr., Tim Patrick and Chip Trayanum on IR, they may prefer to keep his 53-man spot and hold him week-to-week instead.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Kenyon Sadiq (TE2) is the direct beneficiary and steps into the starting receiving tight end role — he is the name to add.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW TO THE REPORT and a significant downgrade. Mason Taylor was not on the Sept 18 baseline — he was healthy and starting. He hurt his thumb in the Week 2 game vs Green Bay on Sept 20, missed all three Week 3 practices, and has been ruled OUT with a week-to-week outlook. Note the Ourlads depth chart updated Sept 24 carried a ‘D’ (doubtful) marker next to his name; the club’s final Friday report supersedes that with a firm OUT.

Fantasy takeaway: Bench or stash in 12-team full PPR. He is OUT this week and week-to-week beyond it, with a 2-4 week realistic absence. If you’re thin at tight end you can hold him one more week to see the Week 4 report; if you need the roster spot, he is droppable given the murky timeline. The actionable play is Kenyon Sadiq — he becomes the Jets’ starting receiving tight end in a game at Detroit where New York will likely be throwing to catch up, and he is a legitimate waiver add and deep-league streaming option.

Chigoziem Okonkwo — WAS (TE1 on the depth chart — the starting and primary receiving tight end, first on Ourlads (09/21/2026) ahead of John Bates, Ben Sinnott and Colson Yankoff. With him out, John Bates starts.)

  • Status: OUT — (a) a FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by Washington on the Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sept 27 game vs the Seattle Seahawks. He appears in the club’s OUT block alongside Cosmi, Cross, Daniels and Luvu. This is his second consecutive week ruled out. He remains on the ACTIVE roster (nfl.com shows ACT as of Fri Sept 25, 2026) — Washington has not used injured reserve, which preserves a week-to-week return.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. He has now gone six straight practices without participating across Weeks 2 and 3. General manager Adam Peters called him a ‘longshot’ to play and head coach Dan Quinn said it was ‘unlikely’ he would be available, even while noting he had progressed in recovery.
  • Injury: Hamstring strain.
  • When it happened: Suffered in mid-September 2026, before the Week 2 practice cycle. He was already ruled OUT for the Sept 20 Week 2 game vs Dallas on that week’s final report and has not practiced since.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Hamstring strains grade at 1-2 weeks for Grade 1, 3-6 weeks for Grade 2, and 8-12 weeks or more for Grade 3. Two full weeks of zero practice participation — six consecutive DNPs — rules out a Grade 1 and places this squarely in the Grade 2 band, which means a 3-6 week total absence from the date of injury.
  • Expected back to full health: Mid-October 2026 — roughly Weeks 5 through 7 — on a Grade 2 hamstring timeline from a mid-September strain. Washington’s Week 4 trip to London is a meaningful complication, as clubs rarely fly a non-practicing soft-tissue case overseas. Expect a Limited-practice ramp before he is cleared.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Seattle Seahawks at home. This is a final, filed designation.
  • Next four weeks: Out Week 3 (vs Seattle) and very likely Week 4 (London). Week 5 is the earliest realistic return and Week 6 the safer one. Hamstrings in tight ends recur often, so even his return week is likely to come with a snap-count limit. Watch for his first Limited practice — that is the reliable leading indicator, and it has not happened yet.
  • Who benefits if he sits: John Bates is the TE1 in his absence and takes the starting snaps — he is a blocking-first tight end with a low target ceiling. Ben Sinnott (TE3) is the more interesting receiving option and would absorb the pass-game role. Colson Yankoff is TE4 and Jack Westover (DEV) is the practice-squad body.
  • Change since Week 2: CHANGED since Sept 18 — worse. The open thread is RESOLVED: he was OUT in the baseline with a hamstring strain and he is OUT again on the Sept 25 final report, having gone six straight practices without participating. That escalates the read from a possible Grade 1 to a clear Grade 2 and pushes the return target to Week 5-7. He is still not on injured reserve.

Fantasy takeaway: Drop him in 12-team full-PPR unless you have an IR slot to spare — he is now looking at a third and likely fourth missed game, with Marcus Mariota under center suppressing the whole passing game when he does return. Neither Bates nor Sinnott is a startable streamer in 12-team leagues; leave this tight end room alone entirely.

Will Mallory — IND (Would-be TE3/depth receiving tight end — currently roster-list only)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried on nfl.com as status code RSR (designated to return) and ‘IR^’ on Ourlads.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable (Friday Sept 25) — on Injured Reserve, not practicing with the team.
  • Injury: Thumb
  • When it happened: Prior to Week 1, 2026
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A thumb injury requiring IR placement (often surgically repaired) typically sidelines a player 4-8 weeks
  • Expected back to full health: Eligible for practice window activation once his four-game IR minimum passes; realistic return window is Week 6-8
  • Next game: OUT for Sept 27, 2026 vs. Houston — on Injured Reserve
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: OUT for all four; monitor for a practice-window designation in October
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — Tyler Warren and Mo Alie-Cox handle the tight end snaps
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18.

Fantasy takeaway: No fantasy relevance in any format currently

Joe Royer — CLE (Reserve-list tight end — would compete for TE4/TE5 depth behind Harold Fannin Jr., Blake Whiteheart and Carsen Ryan on return; holds no active depth-chart slot)

  • Status: PUP — (c) official reserve-list status. Precisely, he is on Reserve/Non-Football Injury-Illness (NFI), designated to return, carrying status code RSN on the nfl.com Browns roster as of Sept 25, 2026. This reserve-list status OUTRANKS any injury-report consideration — he is ineligible to practice or play and no weekly game-status designation applies. (Reported under the PUP tag per the required tag vocabulary; the exact list is Reserve/NFI, not PUP.)
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate — ineligible to practice while on the reserve/NFI list. No Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25 participation exists and he appears on no Cleveland practice report.
  • Injury: Non-football injury or illness, unspecified. Cleveland did not disclose the nature of the condition when placing him on the NFI list.
  • When it happened: Placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury-Illness list on August 30, 2026, at the same time Cleveland set its initial 53-man roster and placed Dillon Gabriel on IR. The onset date of the underlying condition was never made public.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not assessable with precision because the condition was never disclosed. Reserve/NFI placements carry the same four-game minimum absence as IR-designated-to-return, so the structural floor is four games regardless of the medical timeline.
  • Expected back to full health: His practice window is eligible to be opened having passed the four-game threshold. A realistic activation window, if Cleveland chooses to use it, is Week 4 through Week 9 (October to early November 2026). There is no public timeline.
  • Next game: OUT — ineligible to play in Week 3 vs. the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Sept 27, 2026 at Huntington Bank Field. He remains on the Reserve/NFI list with no practice window opened.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Week 3 with certainty and very likely for Weeks 4-6 as well. Cleveland has three healthy tight ends on the active roster plus Messiah Swinson on the practice squad, so there is no roster pressure to activate him within this window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Harold Fannin Jr. (TE1), Blake Whiteheart (TE2) and Carsen Ryan (TE3) are all ahead of him and healthy, with practice-squad TE Messiah Swinson as further depth. His absence has no practical roster effect.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Still on Reserve/Non-Football Injury-Illness, designated to return, status code RSN, with no practice window opened.

Fantasy takeaway: No 12-team full-PPR relevance whatsoever. Not rosterable in any redraft format. Harold Fannin Jr. is the only Cleveland tight end with fantasy value. Ignore Royer entirely.

Caleb Lohner — DEN (Reserve-list tight end — he is not on the active depth chart and cannot occupy a depth role while on reserve. Before the placement he was a developmental TE behind Engram, Trautman, Adkins and Bentley.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an OFFICIAL RESERVE-LIST ROSTER STATUS carried on Denver’s nfl.com roster as RSR, not a weekly game-status tag. This reserve-list status OUTRANKS where or when the injury happened and outranks any practice-report consideration: he is ineligible to play in the Sunday Sept 27 game vs. the Los Angeles Rams regardless of how he feels.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — reserve-list players do not appear on the weekly practice report. Full week: no Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25 practice-report entry exists for him because reserve-list players are excluded from that document by rule.
  • Injury: Lower-body injury, specifics undisclosed by the club. Denver has not named the structure involved.
  • When it happened: Placed on reserve prior to the 2026 regular season; the injury dates to the preseason/roster-cutdown window in late August 2026. He has not been on the active roster at any point in the 2026 regular season.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not meaningfully estimable without a named diagnosis. The controlling constraint is procedural rather than medical: a player placed on reserve before the season generally cannot return to the active roster for a defined minimum period, and Denver has given no designated-to-return signal.
  • Expected back to full health: Indeterminate on the medical side. On the roster side, no return to the active roster is in view through at least October 2026.
  • Next game: OUT — ineligible. He cannot be activated for the Sunday Sept 27 Sunday Night Football game vs. the Los Angeles Rams because of his reserve-list status.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: ineligible throughout unless Denver opens a return-to-practice window, which the club has not signaled. Treat him as unavailable for the entire stretch.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is already out and the depth chart has long since absorbed his absence. Evan Engram, Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins and Dallen Bentley are the four active tight ends and none of them would move because of him.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He remains on Denver’s reserve list with the same RSR code and no designated-to-return window has been opened.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any 12-team full-PPR redraft format. Zero action. He is listed for completeness of the reserve-list picture only.

John Michael Gyllenborg — KC (Reserve-list tight end — not on the active depth chart. Before the placement he was a developmental TE behind Travis Kelce, Noah Gray, Jake Briningstool and Jared Wiley.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an OFFICIAL RESERVE-LIST ROSTER STATUS carried on Kansas City’s nfl.com roster as RES, not a weekly game-status tag. This reserve-list status OUTRANKS where or when the injury happened: he is ineligible to play in the Sunday Sept 27 game at the Miami Dolphins.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — reserve-list players do not appear on the weekly practice report. Full week: no Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25 practice-report entry exists for him because Reserve/Injured players are excluded from that document by rule.
  • Injury: Knee injury, per the Kansas City injury listing. The club has not specified the structure or the grade.
  • When it happened: Placed on Reserve/Injured before or early in the 2026 regular season; the injury dates to the preseason/cutdown window in late August 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not estimable without a named diagnosis. A pre-season Reserve/Injured placement without a designated-to-return slot generally ends the player’s season.
  • Expected back to full health: Indeterminate medically. No return to the active roster is in view through at least October 2026.
  • Next game: OUT — ineligible. He cannot be activated for the Sunday Sept 27, 1:00 p.m. ET game at the Miami Dolphins.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: ineligible throughout. Treat him as unavailable for the entire stretch.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is already out. Travis Kelce (TE1), Noah Gray (TE2), Jake Briningstool (TE3) and Jared Wiley (TE4) are the active tight ends and none moves because of him.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He remains on Kansas City’s Reserve/Injured list with the same RES code.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any 12-team full-PPR redraft format. Zero action.

David Njoku — LAC (Reserve-list tight end — not on the active depth chart and cannot occupy a depth role while on Reserve/Injured. Before the placement he was in the Chargers’ top-three tight end rotation alongside Charlie Kolar and Oronde Gadsden II.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an OFFICIAL RESERVE-LIST ROSTER STATUS carried on the Chargers’ nfl.com roster and on the club’s own roster page as Reserve/Injured, not a weekly game-status tag. This reserve-list status OUTRANKS the fact that the injury happened in a Week 2 game and outranks any practice-report consideration: he is ineligible to play in the Sunday Sept 27 game at the Buffalo Bills.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — reserve-list players do not appear on the weekly practice report. Full week: no Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25 practice-report entry exists for him because Reserve/Injured players are excluded from that document by rule.
  • Injury: Fibula injury. Reporting has variously described it as a fibula fracture and as a knee injury with fibular involvement; the club’s own transaction notice named neither, stating only the Reserve/Injured placement. Treat ‘fibula’ as the operative description.
  • When it happened: Sustained in the Week 2 game on Sunday Sept 20, 2026. He was placed on Reserve/Injured on Monday Sept 21, 2026, and the Chargers announced the move alongside the signing of Marquez Valdes-Scantling on Sept 23, 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: An isolated non-displaced fibula fracture is typically 6-10 weeks to return to play; a displaced or surgically fixed fibula fracture runs 8-12 weeks; if there is syndesmotic or ankle-joint involvement, 10-16 weeks. The IR rule sets a hard floor of four games missed regardless of how the bone heals.
  • Expected back to full health: Earliest possible return is Week 7 under the four-game IR minimum, but the injury class points past that. Realistic return window is late October to late November 2026 — roughly Week 9 to Week 12. Full, unrestricted health most likely late November 2026.
  • Next game: OUT — ineligible. He cannot be activated for the Sunday Sept 27, 1:00 p.m. ET game at the Buffalo Bills because of his Reserve/Injured status, regardless of how the fibula is healing.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: ineligible in all four games under the IR minimum. He is unavailable for this entire stretch with certainty, not probability. Revisit around Week 7.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Oronde Gadsden II (now the de facto TE1) is the primary beneficiary and, with Charlie Kolar also ruled out, is the only established pass-catching tight end the Chargers have for Week 3. Hayden Rucci (TE3, ACT) covers the in-line blocking. Patrick Herbert and Evan Svoboda (both DEV) are the practice-squad elevation candidates.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW TO THIS REPORT. He does not appear on the Sept 18 baseline — he was on the ACTIVE roster and healthy for Week 2. The fibula injury (Sept 20), the Reserve/Injured placement (Sept 21) and the corresponding Marquez Valdes-Scantling signing are all new since the baseline.

Fantasy takeaway: DROP HIM in a 12-team full-PPR redraft unless you have an IR slot, in which case stash and move on — he is guaranteed unavailable for at least four games and the injury class argues for longer. The actionable corollary is the same one Kolar creates: Oronde Gadsden II is a priority waiver add.

Carter Runyon — LV (Reserve-list tight end — not on the active depth chart and cannot occupy a depth role while on reserve.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an OFFICIAL RESERVE-LIST ROSTER STATUS carried on the Raiders’ nfl.com roster as RSR (reserve), not a weekly game-status tag. This reserve-list status OUTRANKS where or when the injury happened: he is ineligible to play in the Sunday Sept 27 game at the New Orleans Saints.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — reserve-list players do not appear on the weekly practice report. Full week: no Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25 practice-report entry exists for him because reserve-list players are excluded from that document by rule.
  • Injury: Undisclosed by the club. The reserve placement is the official record; Las Vegas has not named the structure involved.
  • When it happened: Placed on reserve before or early in the 2026 regular season; the underlying injury dates to the preseason/cutdown window in late August 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not estimable without a named diagnosis. The controlling constraint is procedural rather than medical.
  • Expected back to full health: Indeterminate medically. No return to the active roster is in view through at least October 2026.
  • Next game: OUT — ineligible. He cannot be activated for the Sunday Sept 27, 4:25 p.m. ET game at the New Orleans Saints.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: ineligible throughout. Treat him as unavailable for the entire stretch.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is already out. Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer and Ian Thomas are the active tight ends and none moves because of him.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He remains on the Raiders’ reserve list with the same RSR code.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any 12-team full-PPR redraft format. Zero action.

Justin Shorter — LV (Reserve-list tight end — not on the active depth chart and cannot occupy a depth role while on Reserve/Injured.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an OFFICIAL RESERVE-LIST ROSTER STATUS carried on the Raiders’ nfl.com roster as RES, not a weekly game-status tag. This reserve-list status OUTRANKS where or when the injury happened: he is ineligible to play in the Sunday Sept 27 game at the New Orleans Saints.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — reserve-list players do not appear on the weekly practice report. Full week: no Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25 practice-report entry exists for him because Reserve/Injured players are excluded from that document by rule.
  • Injury: Undisclosed by the club. The Reserve/Injured placement is the official record.
  • When it happened: Placed on Reserve/Injured before or early in the 2026 regular season; the underlying injury dates to the preseason/cutdown window in late August 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not estimable without a named diagnosis. A Reserve/Injured placement at or before cutdown generally ends the season absent a designated-to-return slot.
He remains on the Raiders’ Reserve/Injured list with the same RES code.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any 12-team full-PPR redraft format. Zero action.

Cole Turner — MIA (Not on the active depth chart — reserve/injured. When healthy he was a depth tight end behind Greg Dulcich and Will Kacmarek, with no fantasy-relevant role.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an official reserve-list status (status code RES on the Sept 25, 2026 nfl.com Miami roster), not a weekly game-status designation. Reserve/Injured outranks and supersedes any practice or game-status tag: he is ineligible for an Out/Doubtful/Questionable designation because he is not on the active roster. He must miss a minimum of four regular-season games from the date of placement.
  • Practice this week: Not reported and not applicable — a player on Reserve/Injured is barred from practicing with the team and does not appear on the official practice report. Miami has not opened his 21-day practice window. Per the rule: DNP Wed Sept 23 / DNP Thu Sept 24 / DNP Fri Sept 25, by list status rather than by injury choice.
  • Injury: Undisclosed. Miami has not specified the injury that led to the Reserve/Injured placement.
  • When it happened: Early September 2026, prior to the Sept 18 baseline. He was already on Reserve/Injured with status code RES as of the Sept 18, 2026 nfl.com Miami roster.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Cannot be estimated because the injury class is undisclosed. What the list status establishes: a minimum four-game absence from the placement date, with a 21-day practice window once Miami chooses to open it, after which the club must either activate him or shut him down for the season.
  • Expected back to full health: Indeterminate without a disclosed diagnosis. The earliest structural return window, based on the four-game minimum and the placement date, is roughly Week 5 to Week 6 — Oct 11 to Oct 18, 2026. Miami has published no activation timeline and has not opened his practice window as of Sept 25.
  • Next game: OUT — ineligible. Week 3, Sunday Sept 27 vs the Kansas City Chiefs. He is on Reserve/Injured and cannot be activated for this game.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Sept 27) vs Kansas City and Week 4: ineligible, no possibility of playing. Weeks 5-6: the first theoretically possible return window, and only if Miami opens his 21-day practice window beforehand — as of Sept 25 they have not. Given Miami’s tight end room is healthy at the top with Greg Dulcich, Will Kacmarek, Seydou Traore and Justin Joly all available, there is little competitive urgency to activate him.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he was never in the Week 3 rotation and his absence is fully absorbed. Greg Dulcich, Will Kacmarek, Seydou Traore and Justin Joly constitute a four-deep healthy active tight end room, with Tre Watson on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He remains on Reserve/Injured with status code RES on the current nfl.com roster, with no practice window opened, no activation timeline, and no injury disclosure.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant in 12-team full PPR. Do not roster under any circumstance — a depth tight end on IR behind four healthy tight ends has no path to fantasy-relevant usage even on activation.

Julian Hill — NE (Not on the active depth chart — reserve/injured. When healthy he was a blocking tight end behind Hunter Henry and Eli Raridon, with no fantasy-relevant receiving role.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) an official reserve-list status (status code RES on the Sept 25, 2026 nfl.com New England roster), not a weekly game-status designation. Reserve/Injured outranks and supersedes any practice or game-status tag: he is ineligible for an Out/Doubtful/Questionable designation because he is not on the active roster. Minimum four-game absence from placement.
  • Practice this week: Not reported and not applicable — a player on Reserve/Injured is barred from practicing with the team and does not appear on the official practice report. New England has not opened his 21-day practice window. Per the rule: DNP Wed Sept 23 / DNP Thu Sept 24 / DNP Fri Sept 25, by list status rather than by injury choice.
  • Injury: Undisclosed. New England has not specified the injury that led to the Reserve/Injured placement.
  • When it happened: Early September 2026, prior to the Sept 18 baseline. He was already on Reserve/Injured with status code RES as of the Sept 18, 2026 nfl.com New England roster.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Cannot be estimated because the injury class is undisclosed. The list status establishes a minimum four-game absence from placement, with a 21-day practice window once New England opens it, after which they must activate him or shut him down for the year.
  • Expected back to full health: Indeterminate without a disclosed diagnosis. The earliest structural return, based on the four-game minimum and an early-September placement, is roughly Week 5 to Week 6 — Oct 11 to Oct 18, 2026. No activation timeline has been published and no practice window has been opened as of Sept 25.
  • Next game: OUT — ineligible. Week 3, Sunday Sept 27 at the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is on Reserve/Injured and cannot be activated for this game.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Sept 27) at Jacksonville and Week 4: ineligible. Weeks 5-6: the first theoretically possible return window if New England opens his practice window. There is a mild competitive case for activating him sooner than the other IR players here, because Eli Raridon is questionable with a thigh and New England’s tight end depth behind Hunter Henry is thin — but as of Sept 25 nothing has been done.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he was never in the Week 3 rotation. Hunter Henry (TE1), Eli Raridon (TE2, questionable), Cameron Latu (TE3) and Tanner Arkin (TE4) constitute the active tight end room, with Tanner Conner on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He remains on Reserve/Injured with status code RES on the current nfl.com roster, with no practice window opened, no activation timeline, and no injury disclosure.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant in 12-team full PPR. Do not roster — he is a blocking tight end on IR with no receiving role even when healthy. Not a stash candidate in any format.

Moliki Matavao — NO (Depth tight end – not on the active depth chart while on the reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED – (c) official reserve-list status, which OUTRANKS any weekly game-status designation and outranks where the injury happened. nfl.com’s live roster lists him RES (Reserve/Injured with NO designated-to-return tag, No. 80), meaning he is out for the season and cannot appear on the weekly injury report.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable / not reported (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not reported Wed Sept 23 -> not reported Thu Sept 24 -> not reported Fri Sept 25. Players on season-ending Reserve/Injured are not permitted to practice and do not appear on participation reports.
  • Injury: Knee – both the league-wide IR tracking at sharpfootballanalysis.com and CBS Sports carry him as a knee injury, Out for Season.
  • When it happened: Sustained in the 2026 preseason, leading to the Reserve/Injured placement before the regular season opened.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A knee injury severe enough to warrant a season-ending Reserve/Injured placement with no return designation is almost certainly a major ligament tear (ACL and/or MCL) or a significant meniscus repair. ACL reconstruction runs 9-12 months for a tight end; meniscus repair runs 4-6 months; multi-ligament injuries can run 12-18 months.
  • Expected back to full health: Not in 2026 – the roster designation forecloses it regardless of how he heals. A realistic football return is the 2027 offseason, most likely spring-to-summer 2027.
  • Next game: OUT for the Week 3 home game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Sept 27, 2026 and OUT for every remaining 2026 game. He is season-ending Reserve/Injured with no return mechanism.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: OUT all four weeks – vs Las Vegas (Sept 27), vs Atlanta (Mon Oct 5), vs Minnesota, at the New York Giants (Oct 18). There is no scenario in which he plays in 2026.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Juwan Johnson (TE1), Noah Fant (TE2), Oscar Delp (TE3) and Treyton Welch (TE4) hold the active tight end roles in his absence, with Stone Smartt (DEV) as the practice-squad elevation candidate.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 – still RES with no designated-to-return tag. NEW information: the injury is now identified as a knee, where the Sept 18 baseline could only record it as an undisclosed preseason injury.

Fantasy takeaway: Zero fantasy value in 2026 – he is ineligible to return this season. Drop in all redraft formats. Only deep dynasty rosters with taxi space should hold.

Eli Stowers — PHI (Off the active depth chart — a reserve-list tight end. The active room runs Dallas Goedert > Johnny Mundt > E.J. Jenkins, with Zach Ertz on the practice squad.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) a reserve-list roster status, which outranks any weekly game-status tag and outranks the practice-report cycle entirely. nfl.com lists him RES on the Eagles’ official roster as of Fri Sept 25, 2026. Philadelphia’s Monday-night game does not change this: a reserve-list status is a roster fact, not a weekly filing, so the absence of a final report is irrelevant to him.
  • Practice this week: No practice participation is filed for a player on Reserve/Injured. He did not practice Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: Hamstring strain plus a quadriceps injury — two separate leg injuries in the same limb chain, which is why the club used injured reserve rather than carrying him week to week.
  • When it happened: Suffered before the Sept 18, 2026 baseline was taken; he was already on Reserve/Injured at that point and the status is unchanged as of Fri Sept 25, 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Taken separately, a hamstring strain is 1-2 weeks (Grade 1), 3-6 weeks (Grade 2) or 8-12 weeks (Grade 3), and a quadriceps strain runs 2-6 weeks. Stacked in the same leg, the combined rehabilitation realistically runs 6-10 weeks because each injury slows the other’s loading progression.
  • Expected back to full health: Late October to mid-November 2026 — roughly Weeks 8-11 — on a stacked hamstring-plus-quad timeline. He must miss four regular-season games minimum under the IR rule, making Week 5 (Oct 11, 2026) the earliest rules-eligible date and Weeks 8-11 the medically realistic one.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 3, Monday Sept 28, 2026 at the Chicago Bears. He is on Reserve/Injured and ineligible.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 3 (at Chicago) and 4 with certainty under the four-game IR minimum. Weeks 5 and 6 require Philadelphia to open a 21-day practice window, which has not been reported. Treat him as unavailable through Week 6.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Already accounted for — Johnny Mundt is starting with Goedert out, E.J. Jenkins is TE2, and Zach Ertz was signed to the practice squad on Sept 22-24, 2026. Grant Calcaterra is also on the reserve list.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 in his own status — still RES, still the hamstring-plus-quad combination, still no practice window opened. The open thread is RESOLVED as ‘unchanged.’ What did change around him: Dallas Goedert’s MCL sprain and the Zach Ertz signing mean the room he returns to will look different.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Worth one sentence of monitoring only: if Goedert’s MCL lingers into November and Stowers is activated, the Eagles’ tight end room could get interesting — but that is a deep-dynasty note, not a redraft action.

Jameson Geers — ARI (Reserve — depth tight end)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried as RES (Reserve/Injured) on the official nfl.com Cardinals roster as of Sept 25, 2026.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — he is on the reserve list and ineligible to practice or play.
  • Injury: Undisclosed injury carried from training camp
  • When it happened: Training camp 2026
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Undisclosed; treated by the club as a longer-term reserve situation
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown; no return timetable disclosed by Arizona
  • Next game: OUT for Sunday Sept 27 vs. San Francisco
  • Next four weeks: Out Weeks 3-6 with no disclosed return timetable
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — depth-only tight end with no fantasy role
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 — remains on Reserve/Injured.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant for fantasy purposes

Tip Reiman — ARI (Reserve — depth/blocking tight end)

  • Status: PUP — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried as PUP (active/Physically Unable to Perform) on the official nfl.com Cardinals roster as of Sept 25, 2026.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — a player on active/PUP is barred from practicing with the team.
  • Injury: Lower-body injury carried from training camp (undisclosed specifics)
  • When it happened: Training camp 2026
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Varies by injury; PUP-list players are eligible for the practice window to open no earlier than Week 7
  • Expected back to full health: Earliest practice-window eligibility is Week 7 (mid-to-late October 2026); game availability would follow a subsequent practice window
  • Next game: OUT for Sunday Sept 27 vs. San Francisco — ineligible
  • Next four weeks: Out Weeks 3-6; not eligible to open his practice window until Week 7 at the earliest
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — TE2/TE3 depth (Hunter Long, Elijah Higgins) already covers his blocking/depth role
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 — remains on active/PUP.

Fantasy takeaway: Not fantasy-relevant; no roster value in any format right now

DJ Rogers — DAL (Off the active depth chart — a reserve-list tight end behind Jake Ferguson, Brevyn Spann-Ford and Luke Schoonmaker.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) a reserve-list roster status, which outranks any weekly game-status tag and is why he does not appear on the Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sept 27 game vs Baltimore. nfl.com lists him RES on the Cowboys’ official roster as of Fri Sept 25, 2026.
  • Practice this week: No practice participation is filed for a player on Reserve/Injured. He did not practice Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: Undisclosed by the club. Dallas has not specified the injury on any public report.
  • When it happened: Not publicly specified. He was already on Reserve/Injured at the Sept 18, 2026 baseline and the status is unchanged.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Cannot be estimated with an undisclosed injury. The binding constraint is the four-game minimum an IR player must miss before activation is permitted.
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown given the undisclosed injury. The earliest rules-eligible return is Week 5 (roughly Oct 11, 2026), and no 21-day practice window has been opened.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro. He is on Reserve/Injured and ineligible.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 3 and 4 with certainty. Weeks 5-6 hinge on a practice window Dallas has not opened. Treat him as unavailable through the window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is already off the active roster; the room runs Ferguson > Spann-Ford > Schoonmaker without him.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Still RES on the official roster.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any 12-team full-PPR redraft format. Zero fantasy relevance.

Princeton Fant — DAL (Off the active depth chart — a reserve-list tight end behind Jake Ferguson, Brevyn Spann-Ford and Luke Schoonmaker.)

Dallas has not specified the injury on any public report, which is standard for a player placed on injured reserve before the regular-season report cycle begins.
  • When it happened: Not publicly specified. He was on Reserve/Injured before the Sept 18, 2026 baseline was taken and his status is unchanged.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Cannot be estimated with an undisclosed injury. The structural constraint is the rule, not the medicine: a player placed on IR after final cuts must miss at least four regular-season games before he is eligible to be activated.
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown given the undisclosed injury. The earliest rules-eligible return is after the four-game IR minimum, which would be Week 5 (roughly Oct 11, 2026) at the very soonest, and no designated-to-return window has been opened.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro. He is on Reserve/Injured and ineligible.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Week 3 (vs Baltimore) and Week 4 with certainty. Weeks 5-6 depend on Dallas opening a 21-day practice window, which has not been reported. Treat him as unavailable through the window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is already off the active roster; the tight end room functions as Ferguson > Spann-Ford > Schoonmaker without him.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Still RES on the official roster, still no designated-to-return window opened.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in any 12-team full-PPR redraft format and not a stash candidate. Zero fantasy relevance.

Luke Musgrave — GB (TE depth — off the active depth chart while on the reserve list)

  • Status: PUP — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code PUP on https://www.nfl.com/teams/green-bay-packers/roster as of Sept 25, 2026. Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform. This reserve-list status outranks the injury detail: a player who begins the season on Reserve/PUP is ineligible for at least the first four games and receives no weekly game-status designation.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. Players on Reserve/PUP do not practice with the team and are not carried on the participation report until their practice window opens.
  • Injury: Neck injury. Green Bay has not published further specificity on the nature or severity.
  • When it happened: Placed on Reserve/PUP at the start of the 2026 regular season, meaning the injury was present and unresolved at the time of the initial roster cutdown in late August 2026. The underlying issue predates the season.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Cervical spine injuries in tight ends span an enormous range — a cervical strain or recurrent stinger is a 2-6 week issue, while a disc herniation or foraminal stenosis finding can cost a half-season, require surgery, or raise career-continuation questions. Green Bay’s willingness to start him on Reserve/PUP rather than carry him week-to-week signals the club expected a multi-month absence, not a multi-week one.
  • Expected back to full health: Eligible to begin practicing after Week 4 under the Reserve/PUP rules, after which Green Bay has a 21-day window to activate him. No practice window has been opened or reported as of Sept 25, 2026. Realistic earliest availability is late October to November 2026 — Week 8 or later. He will not play in Weeks 3-6.
  • Next game: Did not play in Week 3 — Green Bay’s Week 3 was the Thursday Sept 24, 2026 game vs the Atlanta Falcons, and he was ineligible for it.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: unavailable throughout. The first meaningful marker would be Green Bay opening his 21-day practice window, which cannot happen before Week 5 and has not been signaled.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Green Bay is deep here and his absence costs them nothing. Tucker Kraft (TE1) is an every-down starter, Jonnu Smith (TE2) is a significant receiving piece, and Josh Whyle (TE3) and Mark Redman (TE4) are both active. Drake Dabney (DEV) is the practice-squad option.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Status code PUP on the baseline, status code PUP today, with no practice window opened.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league, and not worth a stash even in deep formats — even at full health he would be the No. 3 or No. 4 tight end on his own team behind Tucker Kraft and Jonnu Smith. Drop and ignore.

McCallan Castles — GB (TE depth — off the active depth chart while on the reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code RES on https://www.nfl.com/teams/green-bay-packers/roster as of Sept 25, 2026. The reserve-list status outranks the injury circumstances: he is ineligible to play and receives no weekly game-status designation.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. Reserve/Injured players do not practice with the team and are not carried on the participation report.
  • Injury: Undisclosed. Green Bay has not published a characterization of the injury.
  • When it happened: Placed on Reserve/Injured during the 2026 roster-setting period in late August / early September 2026, before Week 1. He has not been active for a game this season.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Unknowable without a disclosed diagnosis. Procedurally, a player placed on IR at cutdown must miss at least four games and then complete a practice window before activation, and Green Bay has not opened one for him.
  • Expected back to full health: No credible calendar estimate exists without a disclosed injury. Treat him as unavailable through at least Week 6 (mid-October 2026).
  • Next game: Did not play in Week 3 — Green Bay’s Week 3 was the Thursday Sept 24, 2026 game vs the Atlanta Falcons. He was ineligible.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: unavailable throughout, with no practice window opened. Green Bay’s four healthy active tight ends give the club no urgency to bring him back.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Already absorbed several times over — Tucker Kraft, Jonnu Smith, Josh Whyle and Mark Redman are all active, with Drake Dabney (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Status code RES on the baseline, status code RES today.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Not rosterable, not a stash. He is buried behind four healthy tight ends even if activated.

Thomas Yassmin — GB (TE depth — off the active depth chart while on the reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code RES on https://www.nfl.com/teams/green-bay-packers/roster as of Sept 25, 2026. The reserve-list status outranks the injury circumstances: he is ineligible and receives no weekly game-status designation.
The procedural floor applies: a four-game minimum absence and a completed practice window before any activation, and no window has been opened.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: unavailable throughout, with no practice window opened and four healthy active tight ends ahead of him.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Already absorbed — Tucker Kraft, Jonnu Smith, Josh Whyle and Mark Redman are all active, with Drake Dabney (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Status code RES on the baseline, status code RES today.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Not rosterable under any circumstances.

Carson Towt — IND (Depth/practice tight end — currently roster-list only)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried on nfl.com as status code RES with no designated-to-return tag, which effectively ends his 2026 season absent a corresponding move.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable (Friday Sept 25) — on Injured Reserve, not practicing with the team.
  • Injury: Undisclosed
  • When it happened: Prior to Week 1, 2026
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Unknown given undisclosed injury type
  • Expected back to full health: No return timetable reported; without a designated-to-return tag, a 2026 return is unlikely absent a corresponding roster move
  • Next game: OUT for Sept 27, 2026 vs. Houston — on Injured Reserve
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: OUT for all four
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — deep TE4 with no fantasy footprint
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18.

Fantasy takeaway: No fantasy relevance

Ben Yurosek — MIN (TE depth — off the active depth chart while on the reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code RES on https://www.nfl.com/teams/minnesota-vikings/roster as of Sept 25, 2026.
Minnesota has not specified the injury type.
  • When it happened: Placed on Reserve/Injured during the 2026 roster-setting period in late August / early September 2026, before Week 1. He has not been active for a game this season.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Unknowable without a disclosed diagnosis. The procedural constraint governs: a player placed on IR at cutdown must miss at least four games and complete a practice window before activation, and Minnesota has not opened one.
  • Expected back to full health: No credible calendar estimate exists without a disclosed injury. Treat him as unavailable through at least Week 6 (mid-October 2026).
  • Next game: Will not play in Week 3 at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sunday Sept 27, 2026. He is ineligible.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: unavailable throughout, with no practice window opened.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Already absorbed — T.J. Hockenson (TE1), Josh Oliver (TE2) and Gavin Bartholomew (TE3) are all active, with Cam Grandy (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Status code RES on the baseline, status code RES today.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Not rosterable, not a stash. T.J. Hockenson is the only Minnesota tight end who matters, and he is healthy.

Bryson Nesbit — MIN (TE depth — off the active depth chart while on the reserve list)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) official reserve-list status. Verified as status code RES on https://www.nfl.com/teams/minnesota-vikings/roster as of Sept 25, 2026. The reserve-list status outranks the injury circumstances: he is ineligible and receives no weekly game-status designation.
Minnesota has not published a characterization of the injury.
  • When it happened: Placed on Reserve/Injured during the 2026 roster-setting period in late August / early September 2026, before Week 1. He has not been active for a game this season.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Unknowable without a disclosed diagnosis. The same procedural floor applies: a four-game minimum absence and a completed practice window before any activation.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: unavailable throughout, with no practice window opened and three healthy active tight ends ahead of him.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Already absorbed — T.J. Hockenson, Josh Oliver and Gavin Bartholomew are all active, with Cam Grandy (DEV) on the practice squad.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He was listed as RES on the baseline depth chart and remains status code RES today.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Not rosterable under any circumstances.

Grant Calcaterra — PHI (Off the active depth chart — a reserve-list tight end.)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) a reserve-list roster status, which outranks any weekly game-status tag. nfl.com shows him with the code RSR (reserve) on the Eagles’ official roster as of Fri Sept 25, 2026. The Monday-night game and the absence of a final report do not affect a roster-list status.
  • Practice this week: No practice participation is filed for a player on the reserve list. He did not practice Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: Undisclosed by the club. Philadelphia has not specified the injury publicly.
  • When it happened: Not publicly specified. He was already on the reserve list at the Sept 18, 2026 baseline and the status is unchanged.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Cannot be estimated with an undisclosed injury. The governing constraint is the reserve-list rule requiring a minimum four-game absence before activation.
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown given the undisclosed injury. The earliest rules-eligible return is Week 5 (roughly Oct 11, 2026), and no 21-day practice window has been reported.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 3, Monday Sept 28, 2026 at the Chicago Bears. He is on the reserve list and ineligible.
  • Next four weeks: Out for Weeks 3 (at Chicago) and 4 with certainty. Weeks 5-6 depend on a practice window Philadelphia has not opened. Treat him as unavailable through Week 6.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Already accounted for — Johnny Mundt starts with Goedert out, E.J. Jenkins is TE2, and Zach Ertz (DEV) was signed to the practice squad in response to the Goedert injury.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Still RSR on the official roster with an undisclosed injury.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. Zero near-term fantasy relevance even with Goedert out, since he is not eligible to be activated in time to matter for Week 3 or 4.

Robbie Ouzts — SEA (Reserve — depth/blocking tight end)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Carried as RES (Reserve/Injured) on the official nfl.com Seahawks roster as of Sept 25, 2026.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — he is on the reserve list and ineligible to practice or play.
  • Injury: Undisclosed injury; Seattle has not detailed the body part
  • When it happened: Preseason/training camp 2026
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Undisclosed
  • Expected back to full health: Unknown; no timetable disclosed
  • Next game: OUT for Sunday Sept 27 vs. Washington
  • Next four weeks: Out Weeks 3-6 with no disclosed timetable
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — depth-only tight end with no fantasy role
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 — remains on Reserve/Injured.

Fantasy takeaway: Irrelevant for fantasy purposes

Jake Tonges — SF (Reserve — was a depth/blocking tight end)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status. Officially placed on season-ending Injured Reserve by San Francisco on Sept 16, 2026 and confirmed as RES on the official nfl.com roster as of Sept 25, 2026.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable — he is on injured reserve and ineligible to practice or play.
  • Injury: MCL tear, right knee, requiring season-ending surgery
  • When it happened: Sept 16, 2026 (Week 2 practice week)
  • Typical recovery for this injury: MCL tears requiring surgical repair typically require 4-9 months of recovery
  • Expected back to full health: Not expected back in 2026; target 2027 offseason
  • Next game: OUT for the remainder of the 2026 season, including Sept 27 vs. Arizona
  • Next four weeks: Out for the season, Weeks 3-6 and beyond
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — Luke Farrell and Brayden Willis cover his depth-chart role behind George Kittle
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 — remains on season-ending Reserve/Injured.

Fantasy takeaway: Drop in all redraft formats; irrelevant for 2026 fantasy purposes

Jaren Kanak — TEN (Depth tight end — currently roster-list only)

  • Status: RESERVE-INJURED — (c) reserve/roster-list status outranks any other consideration. Confirmed on nfl.com as status code RES with no return designation; season-ending.
  • Practice this week: Not applicable (Friday Sept 25) — on season-ending Injured Reserve.
  • Injury: Torn pectoral muscle
  • When it happened: Prior to the 2026 regular season
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Pectoral tears requiring surgical repair typically require 4-6+ months, ending the current NFL season for a player diagnosed in preseason
  • Expected back to full health: Not expected back in 2026
  • Next game: OUT for the remainder of the 2026 season
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: OUT for all — season-ending
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — deep TE4/5 with no fantasy footprint
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18.

Fantasy takeaway: No fantasy relevance

Questionable — game-time calls (3)

The genuine coin flips. Watch the inactives list, which posts about 90 minutes before kickoff, and have a replacement ready.

Colby Parkinson — LAR (TE1 — starting/receiving tight end)

  • Status: QUESTIONABLE — (a) FINAL official Friday game-status designation filed by the Rams on the Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sept 27 game vs. Denver.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: Knee
  • When it happened: Week 3 practice week (first appeared Sept 23, 2026); not on the Sept 18 baseline report
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A full-week DNP with a Friday Questionable tag on a knee injury typically indicates a moderate issue; recovery timelines for such knee injuries commonly run 1-3 weeks depending on the specific diagnosis, which the club has not disclosed
  • Expected back to full health: Uncertain; monitor early in Week 4 practice reports (early October 2026) for clarity
  • Next game: QUESTIONABLE for Sunday Sept 27 vs. Denver — a full DNP week with no practice reps is a mild red flag despite the Questionable (rather than Doubtful) tag
  • Next four weeks: Game-time decision Week 3; if he sits, Tyler Higbee and Terrance Ferguson would see increased tight end snaps
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tyler Higbee is next in line at tight end, with Terrance Ferguson also in the rotation
  • Change since Week 2: New to the report. He was not listed at all on the Rams’ Sept 18 baseline injury report.

Fantasy takeaway: Risky fantasy start given the full DNP week; have Higbee or Ferguson ready as a same-week alternative if Parkinson is inactive

Brock Bowers — LV (TE1 — listed first on Ourlads ahead of Michael Mayer and Ian Thomas, and the focal point of the Raiders’ passing game when available. He is on the ACTIVE roster (ACT), not a reserve list.)

  • Status: QUESTIONABLE — (a) FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by Las Vegas on the Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27, 4:25 p.m. ET game at the New Orleans Saints. This is a genuine coin flip: head coach Klint Kubiak said Bowers will work out prior to the game Sunday to determine whether he is ready to make his 2026 season debut.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25) — a DOWNGRADE on the day. Full week: Limited Wed Sept 23 -> Limited Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. The Friday DNP is the single most important data point on him and is why the tag is Questionable rather than a clean no-designation.
  • Injury: Left knee — torn meniscus, repaired with an arthroscopic meniscus trim (partial meniscectomy) rather than a meniscus repair.
  • When it happened: Injured during training camp; diagnosed the week of Sept 1, 2026. Surgery was performed Sept 8, 2026. He has not played a snap in the 2026 season — he missed Week 1 vs. Miami and Week 2 at the Los Angeles Chargers.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Arthroscopic meniscus TRIM (partial meniscectomy) is the fast version: typically 3-6 weeks to return to play, sometimes as little as 2-4 weeks for elite athletes with a small resection. A meniscus REPAIR (suturing rather than trimming) is a far longer 3-5 months. He is at Week 2.5 post-op as of Sept 25, 2026 — at the very front edge of the trim window, which is precisely why this has dragged into a third week of uncertainty.
  • Expected back to full health: Realistic full, unrestricted health in early-to-mid October 2026 — Week 5 or Week 6. Even if he suits up in Week 3 expect a managed snap count for one to two weeks after the debut.
  • Next game: TRUE COIN FLIP, lean toward PLAY on a limited snap count. He is Questionable for the Sunday Sept 27, 4:25 p.m. ET game at the New Orleans Saints, and the club has explicitly deferred the call to a pregame workout. The Friday DNP is a real warning sign; do not treat this as a formality. The Raiders have now held him out twice when he practiced late in the week and was not ready, so their demonstrated pattern is caution.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 at New Orleans (Sun Sept 27): coin flip, and even if active expect a snap cap and a reduced route tree. Week 4: strong odds he is active and closer to normal. Weeks 5-6: expected full-go and back to being a top-three fantasy tight end. The arc to bet on is ‘limited Week 3 or 4, full by Week 5.’
  • Who benefits if he sits: Michael Mayer (TE2) is the primary beneficiary and has been the de facto TE1 for the first two weeks — he is the direct plug-in. Ian Thomas (TE3) picks up the blocking and rotational snaps. In the passing game, Tre Tucker (LWR1) and Jack Bech (SWR1) absorb the vacated target share from Kirk Cousins.
  • Change since Week 2: CHANGED, and the practice trend is worse even though the tag improved. Baseline Sept 18: DOUBTFUL, with DNP Wed -> DNP Thu -> Limited Fri, and he did NOT play in Week 2 at the Chargers. Now: the tag is upgraded to QUESTIONABLE, but the practice arc reversed — Limited Wed -> Limited Thu -> DNP Fri. He remains on the ACTIVE roster, not IR, and has still not played a snap in 2026. The club has now added an explicit pregame-workout decision point.

Fantasy takeaway: DO NOT START HIM in Week 3 in a 12-team full-PPR redraft unless you have a viable Sunday-afternoon pivot on your bench and can wait out the inactives — the game is a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, so you WILL know before lineups lock for that window, but you will not know before the 1:00 p.m. ET slate locks. Have a Plan B tight end you can start at 1:00 p.m. if he is ruled out. Absolutely hold him — this is a top-three positional asset at full health and a two-to-three-week problem, not a season-long one. If a frustrated manager in your league will sell him for a TE1-ish price, buy aggressively.

Eli Raridon — NE (TE2 — the rookie third-round pick and second tight end behind Hunter Henry, ahead of Cameron Latu and Tanner Arkin)

  • Status: QUESTIONABLE — (a) FINAL Friday game-status designation filed by New England on the Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27 game at the Jacksonville Jaguars. New England’s own reporting says he “has a chance to play” despite missing the last two practices.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: Limited Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. This is a DOWNWARD trajectory — two consecutive DNPs to close the week — which makes the Questionable tag considerably shakier than the word normally implies.
  • Injury: Thigh. New England has not specified side, structure, or grade. A ‘thigh’ listing typically denotes a quadriceps strain or a quadriceps contusion (a deep thigh bruise); the club has not distinguished between them.
  • When it happened: Mid-September 2026. It surfaced on New England’s Week 3 practice report — he was a limited participant Wednesday Sept 23 before being downgraded to DNP on Thursday. It is not traceable to a specific Week 2 play against Pittsburgh.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Quadriceps strains: Grade I 1-2 weeks, Grade II 2-4 weeks, Grade III 6+ weeks or surgical. Quadriceps contusions (thigh bruises) typically cost 1-2 weeks but can become myositis ossificans in bad cases, which extends to 4-8 weeks. The Limited-then-DNP-then-DNP pattern is the concerning direction: a player improving toward gameday moves the other way. Two DNPs to close a week with a Questionable tag usually reflects a club preserving optionality rather than genuine confidence.
  • Expected back to full health: If a Grade I strain or simple contusion, full health by roughly Oct 4-11, 2026 — Week 4 to Week 5. If it is a Grade II quad strain, push to mid-to-late October, Weeks 6-7. The Week 4 Wednesday practice report is the checkpoint that will separate these.
  • Next game: LEAN OUT, despite the Questionable tag. Week 3, Sunday Sept 27 at the Jacksonville Jaguars, EverBank Stadium. Two consecutive DNPs closing the week is a poor signal and historically converts to inactive more often than active. New England’s public framing of ‘a chance to play’ is soft. Treat him as unlikely.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Sept 27) at Jacksonville: lean out. Week 4: plausible return if the thigh is a contusion or Grade I strain, which the single limited practice on Wednesday weakly supports. Weeks 5-6: should be available and back in the TE2 rotation. Escalation risk is modest — thigh injuries rarely draw IR placements — but a second week of DNPs would push the return toward Week 5 or 6.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Cameron Latu (TE3) moves up to the second tight end role and would take the two-tight-end-set snaps. Tanner Arkin (TE4) fills out the rotation. Tanner Conner (DEV) is a practice-squad elevation candidate. The fantasy-relevant beneficiary is Hunter Henry (TE1), whose route participation and target share both rise when the TE2 is unavailable.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW TO THE REPORT. Eli Raridon was not on the Sept 18 baseline — he was healthy. He appeared on New England’s Week 3 report Wednesday Sept 23 with a thigh, was limited that day, then did not practice Thursday or Friday, and drew a QUESTIONABLE tag on the final report. A fresh downgrade with a negative within-week trajectory.

Fantasy takeaway: Not startable in 12-team full PPR and not worth a roster spot — he is a rookie TE2 with a bad practice trend. The actionable read is on Hunter Henry: with Raridon likely out, A.J. Brown on IR, and New England’s receiver room thin, Henry’s target share concentrates further and he is a solid TE1 streaming play at Jacksonville. Drop Raridon if you’re holding him for dynasty-adjacent reasons in a redraft league.

Final tag still pending (1)

The Monday night teams file a day later than everyone else. Real situations, final tag still to come.

Dallas Goedert — PHI (TE1 — the starter and primary seam/red-zone tight end, listed first on Ourlads (09/24/2026) with an ‘O’ marker, ahead of Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins.)

  • Status: OUT — (d) a report not yet made official. Philadelphia plays Monday night Sept 28 at Chicago, so its final game-status report is not due until Saturday Sept 27 and NO FINAL TAG EXISTS YET as of Friday Sept 25. The OUT call rests on ESPN’s Adam Schefter and multiple club-side reports that he will miss ‘a few weeks’ with the MCL sprain, plus three straight DNPs. He is NOT on injured reserve — nfl.com still lists him ACT on the Eagles’ official roster as of Fri Sept 25, 2026, and the club is reported to be avoiding IR to preserve a faster return.
  • Practice this week: Did Not Participate (Friday Sept 25). Full week: DNP Wed Sept 23 -> DNP Thu Sept 24 -> DNP Fri Sept 25. He has not practiced in any capacity since the injury.
  • Injury: Right knee — MCL sprain.
  • When it happened: Sunday Sept 20, 2026, in the Week 2 win over the Tennessee Titans. He had one reception before exiting and did not return.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: An isolated MCL sprain grades out at 1-2 weeks for Grade 1, 3-6 weeks for Grade 2, and 6-10 weeks or surgery for Grade 3. The ‘few weeks’ reporting plus the decision to stay off IR (a four-game minimum) points to a Grade 1-2, i.e. a 2-4 week absence.
  • Expected back to full health: Mid-October 2026, roughly Oct 11-18 — Week 5 or Week 6 — on a Grade 2 MCL timeline from a Sept 20 injury. The club’s choice not to use IR implies it believes he beats the four-game threshold.
  • Next game: OUT for Week 3, Monday Sept 28, 2026 at the Chicago Bears. Three consecutive DNPs and ‘few weeks’ reporting make this effectively certain even though no final tag exists yet.
  • Next four weeks: Out Week 3 (at Chicago) and very likely Week 4. Week 5 is the realistic return target and Week 6 the safe one. Expect a Limited-practice ramp to precede his first game back, so watch the Wednesday report in the week he returns.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Johnny Mundt (TE2) takes over as the starter and is the primary beneficiary of snaps. E.J. Jenkins (TE3) moves into the rotation. Zach Ertz, signed to the practice squad on Sept 22-24, 2026 specifically in response to this injury, is an elevation candidate and the name to watch for red-zone work. Eli Stowers (RES) and Grant Calcaterra (RSR) are both unavailable.
  • Change since Week 2: MAJOR change since Sept 18. He carried no designation in the baseline and was the healthy TE1. He sprained his MCL in the Sept 20 Week 2 win over Tennessee, has been DNP all three Week 3 practices, and is reported out multiple weeks. Philadelphia responded by signing Zach Ertz to the practice squad. He is NOT on IR — a correction worth flagging, since the club is deliberately preserving a sub-four-game return.

Fantasy takeaway: Bench him in 12-team full-PPR for Week 3 and Week 4 — do not drop him, since a Week 5-6 return to a TE1 role in this offense is worth the IR/bench slot. The startable replacement is nobody yet: Mundt is a volume-light TE2 streamer at best, and Zach Ertz is the speculative add if Philadelphia elevates him, since Ertz’s red-zone history is the one path to actual fantasy points from this room.

Cleared — listed this week but carrying no designation (27)

The good news. Every player here carried an injury or a listing at some point this week and finished it without a designation.

Trey McBride — ARI (TE1 — lead pass-catching tight end)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no entry at all on Arizona’s FINAL official Friday report of Sept 25, 2026 for the Sept 27 game vs. San Francisco.
  • Practice this week: Full participant and not listed on the report at any point Week 3 (Wed Sept 23 – Fri Sept 25).
  • Injury: Back / veteran rest day (Week 2)
  • When it happened: Week 2 practice week (mid-September 2026), coded as a rest day, not an acute injury
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not an injury requiring recovery — a scheduled workload-management rest day
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health
  • Next game: No restrictions for Sunday Sept 27 vs. San Francisco
  • Next four weeks: Fully available Weeks 3-6 as Arizona’s clear TE1 and a top-tier fantasy tight end
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — fully healthy
  • Change since Week 2: Changed since Sept 18: last week he still carried a back/rest entry on the Friday report (no designation); this week he has dropped off the injury report completely.

Fantasy takeaway: Locked-in weekly TE1 start with no injury risk on the radar

Kyle Pitts Sr. — ATL (TE1 – primary receiving tight end)

  • Status: RESOLVED – (a) he does not appear anywhere on Atlanta’s FINAL Week 3 official injury report (filed Wednesday Sept 23, 2026 for the Thursday Sept 24 game at Green Bay). He had been carried as a limited participant on Atlanta’s Week 2 practice reports during the Carolina preparation week; that issue is now entirely off the paperwork.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (final report, Wednesday Sept 23). Full week: not listed Mon Sept 21 -> not listed Wed Sept 23. No limitation at any point in the Week 3 cycle.
  • Injury: Undisclosed issue that made him a limited practice participant during Week 2 preparation (now resolved)
  • When it happened: Appeared on Atlanta’s Week 2 practice report in the week of Sept 15-18, 2026. Atlanta never assigned it a game-status designation and never specified the body part publicly.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A practice-report-only issue that never earned a game-status tag and cleared within one week is by definition minor – typically under seven days of managed participation.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Sept 23, 2026 (Week 3). No residual restriction.
  • Next game: Week 3 is complete. He was healthy and PLAYED at Green Bay on Thursday Sept 24, 2026, catching 1 of 2 targets for 5 yards in a run-dominated 35-14 win. For Week 4 at New Orleans on Monday Oct 5, 2026 he is expected to carry no designation.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: Week 3 at Green Bay (done, 2 targets). Week 4 at New Orleans (Mon Oct 5, MNF) – New Orleans has been beatable over the middle. Week 5 vs Baltimore, Week 6 vs Chicago. The health is fine; the problem is target share. Two targets in Penix’s first start is a warning that Atlanta’s offense is running through Bijan Robinson and Drake London.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Charlie Woerner (TE2) and Austin Hooper (TE3) would split the work, with Hooper taking the receiving snaps and Woerner the in-line blocking. Nick Muse (TE4) would move up. None of them would be startable.
  • Change since Week 2: CHANGED since Sept 18 – improvement. He was a limited participant on Atlanta’s Week 2 practice reports; he is now completely off the Week 3 injury report and practiced without restriction all week. Report him as CLEARED.

Fantasy takeaway: Hold in 12-team full-PPR as a low-end TE1 / high-end TE2, but temper expectations after a 2-target Week 3. The health question is closed. The usage question is open – give him two more games with Penix Jr. before you cut bait, because the QB upgrade is real even if Week 3 did not show it in his box score.

Jake Ferguson — DAL (TE1 — the clear starter and a primary red-zone target, first on the Ourlads (09/21/2026) tight end order ahead of Brevyn Spann-Ford and Luke Schoonmaker.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he is entirely absent from the Cowboys’ FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official game-status report for the Sept 27 game vs Baltimore. He was evaluated in the medical tent for a possible concussion during the Sept 20 win over Washington, but he returned to that game, cleared the protocol, and never appeared on a Week 3 practice report.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not on the injury report Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25, so no participation level is filed — he practiced without restriction all three days.
  • Injury: Head — a sideline concussion evaluation only. He was cleared on the spot and the club never listed a concussion on any official report.
  • When it happened: Sunday Sept 20, 2026, during the Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders. He went to the medical tent, was cleared, and returned to finish with 4 catches for 43 yards and 2 touchdowns.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A negative sideline concussion screen carries no recovery window at all. Had he entered the protocol, a Stage 1-5 NFL concussion return typically runs 5-10 days, with roughly half of cases clearing in time for the next game.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Fri Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3). He was never placed in the protocol.
  • Next game: ACTIVE and a full-go starter for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro. No designation, no practice restriction.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and expected to start and carry a full route share through Weeks 3-6, beginning with Baltimore.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Brevyn Spann-Ford is TE2 and would take the starting job, with Luke Schoonmaker (TE3) rotating in as the move tight end. Princeton Fant and DJ Rogers are both on Reserve/Injured and unavailable.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW to this report. He is not in the Sept 18 baseline. He picked up a Week 2 sideline concussion evaluation on Sept 20, cleared it in-game, and is reported here as CLEARED rather than dropped silently.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a TE1 in 12-team full-PPR. The Week 2 tent visit resolved with no protocol entry and no practice restriction, and he scored twice in that same game. Buy any lingering discount from managers who saw the injury chyron.

Sam LaPorta — DET (TE1 — every-down starting tight end and a primary target in the middle of the field)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) confirmed by the absence of any entry for LaPorta on Detroit’s FINAL Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27 game vs the New York Jets. The only two names in that final filing were G Ben Bartch and S Thomas Harper, both Out. LaPorta carries no game-status designation.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: Full Wed Sept 23 -> Full Thu Sept 24 -> Full Fri Sept 25. Unlisted on every day of the report.
  • Injury: None active. The back issue that framed his offseason is behind him.
  • When it happened: The underlying event was back surgery in the 2026 offseason. He completed his rehabilitation before the regular season and has not missed a game.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — resolved. For context, the lumbar procedures tight ends typically undergo (microdiscectomy class) carry a 6-12 week return-to-play window, and LaPorta cleared his well before Week 1.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Sept 25, 2026.
  • Next game: Will play, unrestricted, in Week 3 vs the New York Jets, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 at Ford Field.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: no injury concern. Week 3 sets up unusually well — the Jets ruled their own starting TE Mason Taylor out and are down safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (groin), which thins the middle of their coverage. Week 4 is at Carolina on Sunday night Oct 4.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Brock Wright (TE2) would handle the in-line work and Tyler Conklin (TE3) would take the receiving snaps; Thomas Gordon (DEV) is the practice-squad option.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He was already marked resolved on the baseline and remains fully clear.

Fantasy takeaway: Confident weekly TE1 start in 12-team full-PPR. The back storyline is closed and should no longer factor into your lineup decisions. Week 3 vs the Jets, with their starting safety out, is a solid streaming-up spot if you were considering an alternative.

Tucker Kraft — GB (TE1 — every-down starting tight end and a featured target in the passing game)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) confirmed by the absence of any entry for Kraft on Green Bay’s FINAL official report for the Thursday Sept 24, 2026 game vs the Atlanta Falcons. He carried no game-status designation, was active, and played in that game.
  • Practice this week: Full. Full week for Green Bay’s compressed Thursday schedule: Full Monday Sept 21 -> Full Tuesday Sept 22 -> Full Wednesday Sept 23. He is unlisted on every day of the Week 3 participation report.
  • Injury: None active. He carried an injury storyline into the 2026 season that has fully cleared.
  • When it happened: N/A — no current injury. The prior storyline was already marked resolved on Green Bay’s Sept 18 report.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — resolved, and he has not missed a game.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Sept 25, 2026.
  • Next game: Played in Week 3 — Green Bay’s Week 3 was the Thursday Sept 24, 2026 game vs the Atlanta Falcons (Packers lost 35-14). He was active and unrestricted, and absorbed extra middle-of-field volume with Jayden Reed out.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Thu Sept 24 vs Atlanta): played. Week 4 (Sun Oct 4 at Tampa Bay), Week 5 (division game vs Chicago) and Week 6: no injury concern. His volume outlook is the story — with Jayden Reed out indefinitely and Savion Williams on IR, Kraft is a clear top-three option in this passing game.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jonnu Smith (TE2) would take the receiving role and Josh Whyle (TE3) the in-line work, with Mark Redman (TE4) also active. Green Bay would not need an elevation.
  • Change since Week 2: No change in health since Sept 18 — already resolved on the baseline and still clear. His target environment improved because Jayden Reed went down.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a top-8 TE in 12-team full-PPR and buy if a manager will sell. The health question is closed and the opportunity has improved materially — Reed’s absence concentrates targets into Kraft, Matthew Golden and Christian Watson. A bottom-three run-blocking offensive line also means Green Bay is throwing more than it wants to, which helps him.

Greg Dulcich — MIA (TE1 — the Dolphins’ starting tight end and primary receiving option at the position)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO designation and NO injury listing of any kind on Miami’s FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 27 game vs the Kansas City Chiefs. He is entirely off the report for the second consecutive week.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25) and unlisted. Full week: Full Wed Sept 23 -> Full Thu Sept 24 -> Full Fri Sept 25, unlisted on all three days.
  • Injury: None currently. The last tracked issue was an undisclosed injury reported earlier in September 2026 that resolved before the Week 2 game and has not recurred.
  • When it happened: Not applicable for Week 3 — no current injury. The prior undisclosed issue dates to early September 2026 and was resolved before the Sept 20 game at San Francisco.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — there is no current injury. He has logged full participation in every practice Miami has held across Weeks 2 and 3.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Sept 25, 2026. No restrictions, no maintenance days, no listing.
  • Next game: PLAYING, unrestricted. Week 3, Sunday Sept 27 vs the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium. No designation of any kind.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Sept 27) vs Kansas City and Weeks 4-6: fully healthy in the starting tight end role. His usage should RISE over this window rather than hold steady — Caleb Douglas is out, Ryan Miller is questionable with hip/back, and Chris Bell is managing a knee, which concentrates targets on the healthiest pass catchers. Dulcich is the clearest beneficiary at his position.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Will Kacmarek (TE2) would take over the starting receiving role. Seydou Traore (TE3) and Justin Joly (TE4) would fill the rotation. Miami’s tight end room is four-deep and healthy on the active roster.
  • Change since Week 2: No change to his health since Sept 18 — he was RESOLVED on the baseline and remains RESOLVED, with three full practices and no listing. What HAS changed is the opportunity around him: Caleb Douglas is OUT, Ryan Miller is questionable and Chris Bell is carrying a knee, all of which raise his projected target share.

Fantasy takeaway: A genuine streaming target at tight end in 12-team full PPR this week. He is fully healthy, he is the TE1 on a team that has lost its starting X receiver and may be without its RB2, and Miami projects to trail Kansas City badly enough to throw a lot. In a position as thin as tight end, a healthy starter with a rising target share in a negative game script is exactly the profile you stream. Add and start if you’re desperate at TE.

Juwan Johnson — NO (TE1 – primary receiving tight end ahead of Noah Fant)

  • Status: RESOLVED – (a) he does not appear anywhere on New Orleans’ Week 3 injury reports – not Wednesday Sept 23, not Thursday Sept 24, and not on the FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27 home game vs Las Vegas. He is completely off the paperwork.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 23 -> not listed Thu Sept 24 -> not listed Fri Sept 25. No limitation on any of the three days.
  • Injury: Illness, non-orthopedic (now resolved)
  • When it happened: Emerged in mid-September 2026 during Week 2 preparation – he was a DNP on Wednesday Sept 16, upgraded to Limited on Thursday Sept 17, and practiced fully on Friday Sept 18 before playing at Baltimore.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A common in-season illness costs an NFL player one to three days of practice and almost never a game. Johnson’s DNP-to-Full progression inside a single week was textbook, and by definition there is no orthopedic re-injury risk once it has cleared.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy – confirmed by three clean unlisted practice days as of Friday Sept 25, 2026. No residual effect.
  • Next game: EXPECTED TO PLAY, fully healthy and unrestricted, in the Week 3 home game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Sept 27, 2026. He carries no designation.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: Week 3 vs Las Vegas (Sept 27), Week 4 vs Atlanta (Mon Oct 5, MNF), Week 5 vs Minnesota, Week 6 at the New York Giants (Oct 18). Three home games in four and a softening schedule. With Barion Brown OUT and the New Orleans receiver room thin behind Chris Olave, the tight ends should see a bump in targets – Johnson is the one to own.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Noah Fant (TE2) would take over as the primary receiving tight end and would be a legitimate streaming option. Oscar Delp (TE3) and Treyton Welch (TE4) would move up, with Stone Smartt (DEV) as the practice-squad option now that Moliki Matavao is on season-ending Reserve/Injured.
  • Change since Week 2: CHANGED since Sept 18 – an upgrade. He was ON the Week 2 final report with an illness (blank game status after a Friday full practice). He is now completely OFF the Week 3 report with three clean unlisted practices. Report him as CLEARED.

Fantasy takeaway: Start him as a streaming TE1 / strong TE2 in 12-team full-PPR. The illness is fully behind him and the situation improved this week – Barion Brown OUT means fewer pass-catchers competing for looks behind Chris Olave. In full PPR his reception volume matters, and this is a good week to deploy him.

AJ Barner — SEA (TE1 — starting tight end)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no entry at all on Seattle’s FINAL official Friday report of Sept 25, 2026 for the Sept 27 home game vs. Washington.
  • Practice this week: Full participant and not listed on the report at any point Week 3 (Wed Sept 23 – Fri Sept 25).
  • Injury: None — an undisclosed minor issue from earlier in the season has fully resolved
  • When it happened: Early September 2026
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — already resolved
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy
  • Next game: No restrictions for Sunday Sept 27 vs. Washington
  • Next four weeks: Fully available Weeks 3-6 as Seattle’s clear TE1
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — fully healthy
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 — remains fully resolved and off the injury report.

Fantasy takeaway: Locked-in weekly TE1/TE2-caliber start with no injury concern

George Kittle — SF (TE1 — starting tight end)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no entry at all on San Francisco’s FINAL official Friday report of Sept 25, 2026 for the Sept 27 home game vs. Arizona.
  • Practice this week: Full participant and not listed on the report at any point Week 3 (Wed Sept 23 – Fri Sept 25).
  • Injury: Achilles — ongoing maintenance on the tendon he tore in 2025 and returned from ahead of the 2026 season
  • When it happened: Original tear in 2025; the maintenance entries have appeared periodically through the 2026 season’s first two weeks
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Chronic maintenance of a surgically repaired Achilles is managed on an ongoing basis rather than a discrete recovery timeline
  • Expected back to full health: Considered fully game-available; periodic practice-rest entries may recur in future weeks as standard maintenance
  • Next game: No restrictions for Sunday Sept 27 vs. Arizona
  • Next four weeks: Fully available Weeks 3-6 as San Francisco’s clear TE1; watch for maintenance-related practice-report entries returning in a future week, which would not be expected to affect game status
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — fully healthy
  • Change since Week 2: Changed since Sept 18: last week he still carried an Achilles entry on the Friday report (limited practice days, no designation); this week he has dropped off the injury report completely.

Fantasy takeaway: Locked-in weekly TE1 start with no game-availability concern

John Bates — WAS (TE1 for Week 3 — elevated to the starting tight end with Chigoziem Okonkwo ruled out. He is TE2 on the standing Ourlads (09/21/2026) order and is a blocking-first player.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he carries no designation of any kind on Washington’s FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sept 27 game vs Seattle. He does not appear on the report at all.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not on the injury report Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25, so no participation level is filed — full participation all three days.
  • Injury: None. Healthy.
  • When it happened: N/A — no injury to date in 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — he is healthy and carries no injury that requires a recovery window.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Fri Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3).
  • Next game: ACTIVE and the starting tight end for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Seattle Seahawks at home, with Okonkwo ruled out for a second straight week.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and expected to start Weeks 3 (vs Seattle) and 4 (London) while Okonkwo recovers, then revert to a TE2 blocking role around Weeks 5-6 when Okonkwo returns.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Ben Sinnott (TE3) would take the receiving snaps and Colson Yankoff (TE4) the rotational work; Jack Westover (DEV) is the practice-squad elevation candidate.
  • Change since Week 2: CHANGED since Sept 18 in role, not health. He was RESOLVED and healthy in the baseline. He is now the de facto starting tight end for a second straight week with Okonkwo OUT.

Fantasy takeaway: Not startable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league despite the starting job. He is a blocking tight end with a low target ceiling, and Marcus Mariota under center caps the passing volume further. If you must stream a Washington tight end, Ben Sinnott is the better receiving bet — but the honest answer is to stream elsewhere.

Adam Trautman — DEN (TE2 behind Evan Engram — the blocking-first tight end in Denver’s 12-personnel looks.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (b) no injury designation of any kind. He does not appear on Denver’s Week 3 practice report for Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25, and received no final game-status designation on the Friday Sept 25, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 27 game vs. the Los Angeles Rams.
  • Practice this week: Full — unlisted all three days. Full week: not on the report Wed Sept 23, not on the report Thu Sept 24, not on the report Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: None currently. Fully healthy with no active issue.
  • When it happened: Not applicable — there is no current injury. He carried no injury into Week 3 and none arose during the week.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — no current injury to recover from.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Friday Sept 25, 2026.
  • Next game: PLAY, unrestricted. Active with no restriction for the Sunday Sept 27 Sunday Night Football game vs. the Los Angeles Rams.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: healthy and active. He is a blocking tight end in a Denver offense that funnels receiving work to Evan Engram, so his fantasy ceiling is a touchdown-dependent spike week and nothing more.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Nate Adkins (TE3) would take the TE2 blocking snaps, with Dallen Bentley (TE4, ACT) behind him and Lucas Krull (DEV) available for elevation.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He was already resolved and off the report on the Sept 18 baseline and remains fully healthy and unlisted.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft. He is tracked here only because he sat on last week’s list — the healthy resolution is the news. No action.

Tyler Higbee — LAR (TE2 — behind Colby Parkinson)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he does not appear on the Rams’ FINAL official Friday report of Sept 25, 2026 for the Sept 27 game vs. Denver.
  • Practice this week: Full participant and not listed on the report at any point Week 3 (Wed Sept 23 – Fri Sept 25).
  • Injury: None active
  • When it happened: N/A
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy
  • Next game: No restrictions for Sunday Sept 27 vs. Denver
  • Next four weeks: Fully available Weeks 3-6; stands to see a bump in snaps/targets if Colby Parkinson (Questionable) sits
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is the primary beneficiary if Parkinson is out
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 — remains fully off the injury report.

Fantasy takeaway: Streamable TE2 upside this week given Parkinson’s Questionable tag and full-week DNP

Theo Johnson — NYG (TE2 — second on the Ourlads (09/23/2026) tight end order behind Isaiah Likely, ahead of Chris Manhertz and Thomas Fidone II.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he is entirely absent from the Giants’ FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 report for the Sept 27 game vs Tennessee, for a second consecutive week. The shoulder issue that listed him in Week 1 is closed.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not on the injury report Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25, so no participation level is filed — full participation all three days.
  • Injury: None. The shoulder is resolved.
  • When it happened: N/A for Week 3. The shoulder listing was a Week 1 item and closed before the Sept 18 baseline.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — he is healthy. The underlying shoulder issue was a minor strain-class listing that never cost him a game.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Fri Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3).
  • Next game: ACTIVE and available for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Tennessee Titans at MetLife Stadium, in a TE2 role behind Isaiah Likely.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available Weeks 3-6. His target share is capped by Likely ahead of him and further dented by the quarterback change to Jameis Winston.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Chris Manhertz (TE3) and Thomas Fidone II (TE4) would split the rotational snaps behind Isaiah Likely.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Still fully resolved and off the report.

Fantasy takeaway: Not startable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league while Isaiah Likely is healthy and Jameis Winston is under center. A waiver-wire name only if Likely goes down.

Kenyon Sadiq — NYJ (TE2 on the Ourlads depth chart, but functionally the STARTING tight end for Week 3 with Mason Taylor ruled OUT — the direct beneficiary of the Jets’ biggest Week 3 absence)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries NO designation and NO injury listing of any kind on the Jets’ FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27 game at the Detroit Lions.
The prior groin listing was a maintenance entry only and was fully resolved before the Week 2 game. He has not appeared on a Jets injury report in Week 2 or Week 3.
  • When it happened: Not applicable for Week 3 — no current injury. The prior groin maintenance listing dates to early September 2026 and resolved before the Sept 20 game vs Green Bay.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — there is no current injury. He has logged full participation in every practice the Jets have held across Weeks 2 and 3.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Sept 25, 2026. No restrictions, no maintenance days, no listing.
  • Next game: PLAYING, unrestricted, and STARTING. Week 3, Sunday Sept 27 at the Detroit Lions, Ford Field. No designation. With Mason Taylor ruled out, Sadiq steps into the No. 1 receiving tight end role.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Sept 27) at Detroit: starting receiving tight end with a genuinely expanded role. Week 4 through Week 6: his usage tracks Mason Taylor’s recovery — Taylor is week-to-week with a realistic Week 5-6 return, so Sadiq could hold this elevated role for two or three more games. If Taylor ends up on Reserve/Injured, Sadiq holds it through at least Week 7. This is one of the better opportunity-driven situations at a thin fantasy position.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jeremy Ruckert (TE3) would start and handle in-line blocking and receiving. Jelani Woods (TE4) would fill the rotation. Cody Hardy, signed to the practice squad on Sept 22, is an elevation candidate. The Jets would be extremely thin at tight end in that scenario.
  • Change since Week 2: No change to his health since Sept 18 — he was RESOLVED on the baseline and remains RESOLVED, with three full practices and no listing. His ROLE has changed dramatically: Mason Taylor’s OUT designation promotes him from TE2 to the starting receiving tight end for Week 3, and potentially for several weeks beyond.

Fantasy takeaway: PRIORITY WAIVER ADD and a legitimate streaming start at tight end in 12-team full PPR. This is the cleanest opportunity play in the division. He is fully healthy, he inherits the starting receiving tight end job with Mason Taylor OUT, and he does so in a road game at Detroit that projects a negative game script and high passing volume — on a team that has also lost Arian Smith for the season, has Omar Cooper Jr. and Tim Patrick on IR, and has Adonai Mitchell playing with a wrapped catching hand. There are very few pass catchers left in this offense. Add him and start him if you’re streaming tight end.

Darnell Washington — PIT (TE2 — second-team tight end on the Ourlads Steelers depth chart behind Pat Freiermuth, ahead of Robert Tonyan; primarily a blocking tight end with occasional red-zone usage)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) FINAL Friday outcome confirming the matter is closed. Washington appears NOWHERE on Pittsburgh’s FINAL Sept 25, 2026 official Week 3 injury report for the Sept 27 home game vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. No practice designation, no game-status tag.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 25). Full week: full and unlisted Wed Sept 23 -> full and unlisted Thu Sept 24 -> full and unlisted Fri Sept 25. He was never added to the Week 3 report at any point.
  • Injury: None — this was a NON-INJURY, personal-matter absence, now fully closed. He has no medical condition of any kind.
  • When it happened: Not applicable — no injury occurred. He was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday Sept 16 and Thursday Sept 17, 2026 for a personal issue ahead of the Week 2 game at New England. Head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed the matter was clarified and that players in personal situations are typically able to play. Washington returned to full practice Friday Sept 18, drew no game-status tag, and has not appeared on a report since.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable — there is no injury to recover from. The personal matter resolved within a single practice week and has not recurred.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, Week 3 (week of Sept 21-27, 2026). He was never unhealthy.
  • Next game: FULL GO, no designation, for Week 3 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Sept 27, 2026, 1:00 PM ET at Acrisure Stadium.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available Weeks 3-6 with no restriction. His fantasy profile is unchanged and unexciting — he is a blocking-first TE2 behind Pat Freiermuth in an offense that funnels tight-end targets to Freiermuth. Expect occasional red-zone and two-tight-end-set usage with no consistent target volume.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Robert Tonyan (TE3) would take his snaps, with practice-squad TE Lake McRee as further depth. Pat Freiermuth is ahead of him and unaffected.
  • Change since Week 2: UPGRADED and fully closed. On Sept 18 he was on the practice report as a non-participant Wednesday and Thursday for personal reasons before a full Friday, with NO game-status tag filed. He is now off the injury report entirely for Week 3 — the personal matter is resolved and he is unlisted.

Fantasy takeaway: Not startable in 12-team full PPR. He is a blocking tight end behind an established TE1 and his target share does not support weekly usage even in favorable matchups. Pat Freiermuth is the only Pittsburgh tight end worth rostering. Drop Washington if you are holding him from a preseason stash.

Daniel Bellinger — TEN (TE2 — backup/in-line tight end behind Gunnar Helm)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) final Friday outcome: cleared to play, no Out/Doubtful/Questionable tag on Tennessee’s official Sept 25, 2026 report for the Sept 27, 2026 road game at his former team, the New York Giants.
  • Practice this week: Limited (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 23 -> Did Not Participate Thu Sept 24 -> Limited Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: Illness
  • When it happened: First appeared on Tennessee’s Thursday Sept 24, 2026 practice report
  • Typical recovery for this injury: A short-term illness with no game-status tag by Friday indicates a routine, non-lingering issue
  • Expected back to full health: Already effectively resolved heading into Sunday
  • Next game: Cleared to play Sunday, Sept 27, 2026 at his former team, the New York Giants
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: no expected absence; remains the TE2 behind Gunnar Helm
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — David Martin-Robinson/Kylen Granson would see marginal extra snaps in the unlikely event he is a late scratch
  • Change since Week 2: NEW to the injury report since Sept 18 (illness, since cleared) — no lasting fantasy impact.

Fantasy takeaway: Not fantasy-relevant as a TE2 with Gunnar Helm entrenched as the pass-catching lead tight end

Darren Waller — CAR (TE3 – veteran receiving tight end behind Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION – (a) he appears on Carolina’s FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sunday Sept 27 road game at Cleveland listed as ‘Non-injury’ (veteran rest / load management) with a BLANK Game Status column. This is not an injury designation at all.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 23 -> not listed Thu Sept 24 (the club’s Thursday report notes he was a full participant on a scheduled rest day) -> Full Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: None – this is scheduled veteran rest / load management, not a diagnosed injury. Carolina lists it on the report as ‘Non-injury’, which is the required NFL reporting convention for a scheduled veteran rest day.
  • When it happened: Not applicable – there is no injury. The rest designation is a routine in-season workload management decision by Carolina for a veteran tight end who came out of retirement.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable. Veteran rest days carry no recovery timeline and no re-injury risk. They are a scheduling tool, and a player on a rest designation is fully available to play.
  • Expected back to full health: He is fully healthy now, as of Friday Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3). There is nothing to recover from.
  • Next game: EXPECTED TO PLAY in the Week 3 game at Cleveland on Sunday Sept 27, 2026. A non-injury rest designation with a blank game status and a Full Friday practice means available. There is no injury risk to this one.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: available all four – Week 3 at Cleveland (Sept 27), Week 4 vs Detroit (Sun Oct 4, SNF), Week 5 BYE, Week 6 at Philadelphia (Oct 18). Expect Carolina to keep giving him a scheduled rest day most weeks, which will keep producing these non-injury report lines without ever threatening his availability. The thing to actually watch is not health but snaps – he is TE3 behind Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Tommy Tremble (TE1) and Mitchell Evans (TE2) are already ahead of him, so nobody ‘benefits’ in a meaningful sense. Feleipe Franks (TE4) and Ja’Tavion Sanders (TE5) provide the depth behind them.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. Same non-injury veteran rest designation, same blank game status, same TE3 role. He practiced fully on Friday for the second straight week.

Fantasy takeaway: Not startable in 12-team full-PPR as the third tight end. He is a speculative hold only if you believe Carolina is about to expand his role – and with both starting receivers banged up, this week is the best chance he has had to see real red-zone targets. A very deep-league dart, nothing more. Do not read the report line as an injury risk.

Erick All Jr. — CIN (TE3 — third-team tight end on the Ourlads depth chart behind Drew Sample and Mike Gesicki, ahead of Jack Endries)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) FINAL Friday outcome confirming no active issue exists. All appears NOWHERE on Cincinnati’s FINAL Sept 25, 2026 official Week 3 injury report for the Sept 27 game at Pittsburgh. He carries no designation of any kind.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 25). Full week: full and unlisted Wed Sept 23 -> full and unlisted Thu Sept 24 -> full and unlisted Fri Sept 25.
  • Injury: None active. His relevant history is a prior major knee injury (ACL) from a previous season, fully rehabbed; he is on the active roster with status code ACT and carries no current designation.
  • When it happened: No current injury date applies. The underlying ACL injury dates to a prior season and was fully rehabbed before the 2026 campaign; he has practiced and played without restriction all season.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: For context on his history: ACL reconstruction in a tight end typically requires 9-12 months to return to play and 12-18 months to full pre-injury explosiveness. All is well beyond both windows and shows no residual restriction on any practice report.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Week 3 (week of Sept 21-27, 2026). No restriction of any kind.
  • Next game: FULL GO, no designation, for Week 3 at the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Sept 27, 2026, 1:00 PM ET. Availability is not in question; his snap share is a coaching decision, not a medical one.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available Weeks 3-6. The Iosivas IR placement opens an opportunity for the tight end room broadly, but Cincinnati’s stated committee approach leans on Mike Gesicki first — All would need an injury ahead of him or a scheme change to break into real usage across this window.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jack Endries (TE4) is the next man up behind him, with practice-squad TE Tanner Hudson available for elevation. Drew Sample and Mike Gesicki are ahead of him and unaffected.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He was already marked RESOLVED on the baseline with no active designation, and he remains off the Week 3 report entirely.

Fantasy takeaway: Not startable in 12-team full PPR. He is the TE3 in a room where Mike Gesicki is the designated beneficiary of the Iosivas absence and Drew Sample holds the starting job. Monitor only — if Gesicki were to go down, All’s athletic profile makes him the more interesting speculative add than Endries, but that is a contingency, not a current play.

Luke Schoonmaker — DAL (TE3 — third on the Ourlads (09/21/2026) tight end order behind Jake Ferguson and Brevyn Spann-Ford.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he is entirely absent from the Cowboys’ FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official game-status report for the Sept 27 game vs Baltimore, for the second consecutive week. His Week 1 absence was Not Injury Related and there was never an injury to resolve.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not on the injury report Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25, so no participation level is filed — he practiced without restriction all three days.
  • Injury: None — and there never was one. The Week 1 absence was a Not Injury Related designation, not a medical issue.
  • When it happened: N/A — no injury at any point in 2026.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — he is healthy and carries no injury that requires a recovery window.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Fri Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3).
  • Next game: ACTIVE and available for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro, in a rotational TE3 role.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available Weeks 3-6, but buried behind Ferguson and Spann-Ford. Meaningful snaps require an injury ahead of him.
  • Who benefits if he sits: James Mitchell and Michael Trigg are the practice-squad tight ends (both DEV) and would be elevation candidates. Princeton Fant and DJ Rogers remain on Reserve/Injured.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He remains fully resolved and off the report.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. He is the third tight end in a room with a clear TE1. Streaming interest only if Ferguson misses time and Spann-Ford also goes down.

Josh Whyle — GB (TE3 — in-line and rotational tight end behind Tucker Kraft and Jonnu Smith)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) Green Bay’s FINAL official report for the Thursday Sept 24, 2026 game vs the Atlanta Falcons carried no entry for Whyle. He was available and carried no designation.
  • Practice this week: Full. Full week on Green Bay’s compressed Thursday schedule: Full Monday Sept 21 -> Full Tuesday Sept 22 -> Full Wednesday Sept 23. Unlisted on every day of the Week 3 participation report.
  • Injury: None active. The stinger (brachial plexus / cervical nerve traction injury) that put him on an earlier report has resolved.
  • When it happened: The stinger dates to early September 2026 and was already marked resolved on Green Bay’s Sept 18 report. He has not missed a game because of it.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — resolved. Stingers typically resolve within days to two weeks provided strength returns fully; recurrent stingers can become a multi-week or evaluation-driven issue, but Whyle’s did not.
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy now, as of Sept 25, 2026.
  • Next game: Played in Week 3 — Green Bay’s Week 3 was the Thursday Sept 24, 2026 game vs the Atlanta Falcons. He was available with no designation.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Thu Sept 24 vs Atlanta): available. Week 4 (Sun Oct 4 at Tampa Bay) through Week 6: no injury concern. He remains the TE3 behind Tucker Kraft and Jonnu Smith and is unlikely to see meaningful receiving volume unless one of them goes down.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Mark Redman (TE4, ACT) is the next man up, with Drake Dabney (DEV) on the practice squad. Green Bay carries four active tight ends, so no elevation would be needed.
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18. He carried no designation on the baseline and carries none now; the stinger remains resolved.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league. He is the third tight end on a team whose TE1 (Tucker Kraft) is a top-8 fantasy option and whose TE2 (Jonnu Smith) already takes the leftover receiving snaps. Ignore unless Kraft goes down, and even then Smith is the add.

Davis Allen — LAR (TE3/4 — deep depth tight end)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he carries no entry on the Rams’ Week 3 practice reports or the FINAL official Friday report of Sept 25, 2026, and head coach Sean McVay confirmed his concussion evaluation was cleared weeks ago.
  • Practice this week: Full participant and not listed on the report at any point Week 3 (Wed Sept 23 – Fri Sept 25).
  • Injury: Head injury / concussion evaluation (resolved in Week 2)
  • When it happened: Week 2 (mid-September 2026)
  • Typical recovery for this injury: NFL’s concussion protocol has no fixed timeline, but he cleared within the same week it occurred
  • Expected back to full health: Fully healthy
  • Next game: No restrictions for Sunday Sept 27 vs. Denver
  • Next four weeks: Fully available Weeks 3-6 in a deep depth role
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — fully healthy, deep depth-chart piece
  • Change since Week 2: No change since Sept 18 — remains fully cleared and off the injury report.

Fantasy takeaway: Not fantasy-relevant; no role change expected

Seydou Traore — MIA (TE3 — third on the Ourlads tight end depth chart behind Greg Dulcich and Will Kacmarek; a rotational blocking and situational-receiving role)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (a) he appears on Miami’s FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 report for the Sunday Sept 27 game vs Kansas City as a practice-participation entry with a thumb listing, but Miami assigned him NO Out/Doubtful/Questionable tag. He is available to play.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: Full Wed Sept 23 -> Full Thu Sept 24 -> Full Fri Sept 25. Three consecutive full participations with only a listing carried for disclosure purposes.
  • Injury: Thumb. Miami has not specified side or grade. Note the change from the baseline: he was previously listed with BOTH a thumb and an Achilles issue. The Achilles listing has dropped off Miami’s Week 3 report entirely — only the thumb remains.
  • When it happened: Early-to-mid September 2026. The thumb has been carried on Miami’s reports since Week 2 (limited all three days that week). The now-dropped Achilles listing dated to the same period.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Thumb injuries in NFL players span sprains (1-2 weeks, often played through in a splint or club), ulnar collateral ligament tears / gamekeeper’s thumb (4-6 weeks, or surgical with a 6-8 week timeline), and fractures (4-8 weeks). Three consecutive FULL practices places this firmly at the sprain end — a player with a structural thumb injury does not log full participation. For a tight end, a taped or lightly splinted thumb mainly affects catch security, not availability.
  • Expected back to full health: Functionally available now. The listing may persist for several weeks as disclosure while the thumb is taped. True full health, no tape, estimated early-to-mid October 2026 — Week 5 or so.
  • Next game: PLAYING. Week 3, Sunday Sept 27 vs the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium. Three full practices and no game-status designation.
  • Next four weeks: Week 3 (Sept 27) vs Kansas City and Weeks 4-6: available throughout, in his established TE3 rotational role. The upgrade from ‘thumb and Achilles’ to ‘thumb only,’ paired with a move from limited practices in Week 2 to full practices in Week 3, is a genuine week-over-week improvement. No meaningful absence risk unless the thumb is re-injured.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Justin Joly (TE4) would take his rotational snaps. Will Kacmarek (TE2) would absorb the blocking work. Tre Watson (DEV) is a practice-squad elevation option. Greg Dulcich’s role would be unaffected.
  • Change since Week 2: IMPROVED. On the Sept 18 baseline he was listed with BOTH a thumb and an Achilles injury and was Limited in all three practices with no designation. On the Week 3 report the Achilles listing has been dropped entirely and he has progressed from Limited to FULL participation on all three days, still with no designation. Two separate positive changes.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in 12-team full PPR. He is the TE3 on a team whose TE1, Greg Dulcich, is healthy and holding the receiving role. The only thing to take from this entry is the negative: it confirms Miami’s tight end room is healthy at the top, so there is no Dulcich-related opportunity to chase. Leave Traore on waivers.

Oscar Delp — NO (TE3 – third tight end behind Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant)

  • Injury: Hamstring strain (now resolved)
  • When it happened: Emerged in mid-September 2026 during Week 2 preparation – he was Limited on Wednesday Sept 16 and Thursday Sept 17 before practicing fully on Friday Sept 18 and playing at Baltimore without a designation.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Grade 1 hamstring strains cost 1-3 weeks, Grade 2 runs 3-6 weeks, Grade 3 is 8-plus weeks. Delp’s cleared inside a single week without ever missing a practice outright, which is the mildest end of Grade 1. Standard caution applies: hamstrings carry elevated re-injury risk for roughly four weeks after return, so a Week 4 or Week 5 reappearance on the report would not be surprising.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy – confirmed by three clean unlisted practice days as of Friday Sept 25, 2026. Past the elevated re-injury window by roughly Week 6, mid-October 2026.
  • Next game: EXPECTED TO PLAY, fully healthy and unrestricted, in the Week 3 home game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Sept 27, 2026. He carries no designation.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: available all four – Week 3 vs Las Vegas (Sept 27), Week 4 vs Atlanta (Mon Oct 5, MNF), Week 5 vs Minnesota, Week 6 at the New York Giants (Oct 18). As TE3 he is a blocking and rotational piece; his fantasy path requires an injury to Juwan Johnson or Noah Fant.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Treyton Welch (TE4) would move up, with Stone Smartt (DEV) as the practice-squad elevation candidate. Juwan Johnson (TE1) and Noah Fant (TE2) are already ahead of him, so no fantasy-relevant player gains from his absence.
  • Change since Week 2: CHANGED since Sept 18 – an upgrade. He was ON the Week 2 final report with a hamstring (blank game status after a Friday full practice). He is now completely OFF the Week 3 report with three clean unlisted practices. Report him as CLEARED.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league as the third tight end. He is a dynasty-watch name only. The health item is closed – he is clean – but the opportunity is not there behind Johnson and Fant.

Ben Sinnott — WAS (TE3 — third on the Ourlads (09/21/2026) tight end order behind Chigoziem Okonkwo and John Bates, and the more natural receiving option of the two available tight ends.)

  • Status: RESOLVED — (a) he is entirely absent from Washington’s FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official report for the Sept 27 game vs Seattle, for a second consecutive week. The oblique strain that listed him in Week 1 is closed.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not on the injury report Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25, so no participation level is filed — full participation all three days.
  • Injury: None. The oblique strain is fully resolved and never reduced his practice participation even when listed.
  • When it happened: N/A for Week 3. The oblique listing was a Week 1 item (early September 2026) and is closed.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — he is healthy. An oblique strain typically costs 1-3 weeks; his never cost him a practice rep, indicating the mildest grade.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Fri Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3).
  • Next game: ACTIVE and available for Week 3, Sunday Sept 27, 2026 vs the Seattle Seahawks at home, with an expanded pass-game role available to him while Okonkwo is out.
  • Next four weeks: Healthy and available Weeks 3-6. His snap share is elevated through Weeks 3-4 with Okonkwo out and compresses again when Okonkwo returns around Weeks 5-6.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Colson Yankoff (TE4) and Jack Westover (DEV) are the remaining depth behind John Bates.
  • Change since Week 2: CHANGED since Sept 18 in opportunity, not health. He was RESOLVED in the baseline and remains fully resolved and off the report. What changed is around him: a second straight week without Okonkwo raises his receiving-snap share.

Fantasy takeaway: A desperation streamer in deeper 12-team full-PPR leagues only. He is the receiving-tier tight end available while Okonkwo is out, but Bates gets the starter’s snaps and Mariota caps the ceiling. Do not spend meaningful FAAB.

Nick Muse — ATL (TE4 – blocking and special-teams tight end behind Kyle Pitts Sr., Charlie Woerner and Austin Hooper)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION – (a) FINAL official designation filed by Atlanta on its Week 3 report for the Thursday Sept 24, 2026 road game at Green Bay (final report filed Wednesday Sept 23 on the short week). He appears on that report listed with ‘Shoulder’ but carries a BLANK Game Status column.
  • Practice this week: Full (final report, Wednesday Sept 23). Full week (short week): Limited Mon Sept 21 -> Full Wed Sept 23. Walkthrough sessions with estimated participation per the club’s note.
  • Injury: Shoulder – the club has not specified AC joint versus rotator cuff versus contusion
  • When it happened: First appeared on Atlanta’s injury report Monday Sept 21, 2026, which points to the Week 2 home game against Carolina on Sunday Sept 20 as the most likely origin.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: An unspecified shoulder issue that goes Limited-to-Full in 48 hours is almost always a contusion or a Grade 1 AC sprain, which cost 0-2 weeks. A Grade 2 AC sprain runs 2-4 weeks and a labral tear can end a season – neither is consistent with this practice pattern.
  • Expected back to full health: Already functionally healthy – he practiced fully Sept 23, 2026 and was available for Week 3. No further restriction expected.
  • Next game: Week 3 is complete. He was available and undesignated at Green Bay on Thursday Sept 24, 2026. For Week 4 at New Orleans on Monday Oct 5, 2026 he should carry no designation.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: irrelevant to fantasy across the whole stretch – Week 3 at Green Bay (done), Week 4 at New Orleans, Week 5 vs Baltimore, Week 6 vs Chicago. He is the fourth tight end on a team that already splits work between Kyle Pitts Sr., Charlie Woerner and Austin Hooper.
  • Who benefits if he sits: Jack Velling (DEV) would be the practice-squad elevation. In practice Atlanta would simply play more Charlie Woerner (TE2) and Austin Hooper (TE3) snaps – no fantasy-relevant player gains anything.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW TO THIS REPORT. He did not appear on the Sept 18 baseline injury list. He was added Monday Sept 21 with a shoulder issue, practiced fully by Wednesday, and drew no game-status tag.

Fantasy takeaway: No fantasy relevance in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league, healthy or not. Do not roster. He is listed here only because he carried a designation-eligible injury on Atlanta’s final Week 3 report.

Ja’Tavion Sanders — CAR (TE5 – fifth tight end behind Tommy Tremble, Mitchell Evans, Darren Waller and Feleipe Franks)

  • Status: RESOLVED – (c) roster-list status rather than a game-status designation. nfl.com’s live roster lists him ACT (active) as of Friday Sept 25, 2026, and he does not appear anywhere on Carolina’s FINAL Friday Sept 25, 2026 official injury report for the Sunday Sept 27 game at Cleveland. He is healthy and available.
  • Practice this week: Full and unlisted (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not listed Wed Sept 23 -> not listed Thu Sept 24 -> not listed Fri Sept 25. He carried no practice limitation at any point in the Week 3 cycle.
  • Injury: None currently. He is off all injury paperwork and carries an ACT roster code.
  • When it happened: Not applicable – no current injury. He is the subject of ongoing 2026 trade speculation rather than an injury story, with multiple outlets reporting in early-to-mid September 2026 that Carolina has fielded interest in him.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: Not applicable – there is no current injury to recover from.
  • Expected back to full health: Already fully healthy as of Friday Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3). No restriction of any kind.
  • Next game: EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE for the Week 3 game at Cleveland on Sunday Sept 27, 2026, carrying no designation. Whether he is active on gameday is a healthy-scratch roster decision, not an injury one, given he is fifth on the tight end depth chart.
  • Next four weeks: Weeks 3-6: healthy and available for Week 3 at Cleveland (Sept 27), Week 4 vs Detroit (Sun Oct 4, SNF), Week 5 BYE, Week 6 at Philadelphia (Oct 18). The realistic storyline over this window is not injury but transaction – the NFL trade deadline sits in early November and he has drawn reported interest. A trade would be the only thing that changes his outlook.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A for fantasy purposes – he is TE5, so Tommy Tremble (TE1), Mitchell Evans (TE2), Darren Waller (TE3) and Feleipe Franks (TE4) are all ahead of him and nobody’s role changes if he is unavailable.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW TO THIS REPORT, as a roster addition rather than an injury. He does not appear on the Sept 18 baseline depth chart for Carolina at all; he now shows ACT on nfl.com’s live roster and TE5 on Ourlads’ Sept 25, 2026 depth chart. He is healthy with no designation – flagged here so the baseline correction is visible rather than silent.

Fantasy takeaway: Not rosterable in a 12-team full-PPR redraft league as the fifth tight end on the depth chart. He is a dynasty/trade-watch name only – if he is moved to a team with an open tight end job, re-evaluate immediately. Until then, no action.

Zach Ertz — PHI (Practice-squad tight end — behind Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins on the active roster, and signed specifically as the response to Dallas Goedert’s knee injury. He is an elevation candidate for Monday night.)

  • Status: NO GAME-STATUS DESIGNATION — (b) a practice-report-only status with no final tag, since Philadelphia plays Monday night Sept 28 at Chicago and NO FINAL TAG EXISTS YET as of Friday Sept 25. He does not appear on any of the three Week 3 practice reports. nfl.com carries him with the code DEV (practice squad) on the Eagles’ official roster as of Fri Sept 25, 2026.
  • Practice this week: Full (Friday Sept 25). Full week: not on the injury report Wed Sept 23, Thu Sept 24 or Fri Sept 25, so no participation level is filed — he practiced without restriction all three days as he learns the game plan.
  • Injury: None. Healthy. He is on this report as a roster and depth-chart development rather than an injury case.
  • When it happened: N/A — no injury. His arrival is a transactional consequence of Dallas Goedert’s Sept 20, 2026 MCL sprain.
  • Typical recovery for this injury: N/A — he is healthy and carries no injury that requires a recovery window.
  • Expected back to full health: Already at full health as of Fri Sept 25, 2026 (Week 3). The open question is game-plan readiness after only a few days in the building, not physical health.
  • Next game: PRACTICE SQUAD for Week 3, Monday Sept 28, 2026 at the Chicago Bears. He would need a standard practice-squad elevation to be active. Given Goedert is out and the Eagles signed him for exactly this reason, an elevation is plausible but has not been confirmed as of Friday Sept 25.
  • Next four weeks: Likely to be elevated or signed to the active roster at some point across Weeks 3-6 while Goedert recovers, beginning at Chicago. His role would be red-zone and possession work rather than a full-time starter’s snap share, and it shrinks the moment Goedert returns around Week 5-6.
  • Who benefits if he sits: N/A — he is the depth addition himself; Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins are the active tight ends ahead of him.
  • Change since Week 2: NEW to this report and NEW to the roster. He is not in the Sept 18 baseline at all. Philadelphia signed him to the practice squad on Sept 22-24, 2026 in direct response to Dallas Goedert’s MCL sprain. nfl.com now carries him DEV. This is a roster correction against the baseline.

Fantasy takeaway: A speculative waiver add in deeper 12-team full-PPR leagues, and only if Philadelphia elevates him for Monday night. His long red-zone track record is the one realistic route to fantasy points from this tight end room while Goedert is out — but Johnny Mundt gets the starter’s snaps, so wait for confirmation of an elevation before spending FAAB.

Rosters and depth charts for all 32 teams were verified against official league roster pages before this report was compiled, and every player listed was confirmed to be on the roster shown. Designations come from the final official club and league injury reports filed Friday, September 25, 2026. Recovery timelines describe how long a class of injury typically sidelines an NFL player and are not a prediction for any individual.
