Hatebreed‘s seminal classic Perseverance turned 20 years old this year. It remains one of the most important and impactful albums of the new millennium. Of course the Grammy-nominated, Connecticut hardcore crew is going back on the road to celebrate with the most brutal breakdowns and anthemic singalongs the scene has ever known.

“I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since the Perseverance album hit,” says singer Jamey Jasta. “We’re overdue for a headline tour so these shows will be ones for the ages. Show up early and support the great line up of sick bands!”

The “20 Years of Perseverance” Tour kicks off on October 27 in Virginia Beach and runs through November 20 in San Diego.

Gatecreeper will appear from October 27 through November 15, while Bleeding Through will support from November 17 through November 20.  Bodysnatcher and Dying Wish will open all dates.

Hatebreed Announce “20 Years of Perseverance” 2022 Tour first appeared on Game On Media.

Anthrax and Black Label Society will bring some of the finest thrash and heavy metal to 24 North American cities during a five-week 2022 summer tour. Both bands will play headline sets. Hatebreed, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Perseverance album, will Special Guest. Black Label Society and Anthrax have shared festival stages and one-off shows numerous times, but this marks the very first time these two bands will tour together.

“Zakk has been a friend and an inspiration to me as a guitar player, songwriter, and beard grower since we met in 1988,” said Anthrax’s Scott Ian. “We’ve had the privilege to share festival stages with Zakk and BLS around the world, and it’s always been a head-banging mutual admiration society between the two bands. Now we get to share the stage every night on what is easily going to be the heaviest tour of 2022 — the ultimate pounding one-two combination of bands. Oh, and did I mention we’ve got fucking Hatebreed with us as our special guests? Holy crap, it’s going to be the night of 1000 crushing riffs. I can’t wait to see you all on the road.”

After getting its start with 2 events in Concord, Virginia, followed up by the Covid-delayed logistical nightmare of last year’s massive 4 day event in Danville, Virginia, the Blue Ridge Rock Festival is finally getting a new home which promises to deliver on its promise as America’s premier fan-driven rock and roll experience.

This year’s event will take place over the extended weekend of September 8 – September 11, 2022. The venue hosting this event is the world-class road racing track Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia. Fans who endured the troubles of the past in order to witness the greatest collection of live rock and roll, and are ready to come back for more, will be rewarded with a location that is set up for large crowds, camping and entertainment.

Despite all of the issues last fall, the musical performances and production were top notch. The festival took on a partner, changed to a better venue and continues to ask fans to help choose the artists who will perform at the 2022 edition.

Single day and weekend general admission and VIP passes for Welcome To Rockville are on sale now. Festivalgoers are encouraged to buy early and save as pass prices increase in throughout the coming months based on level quantities.  A limited number of specially priced tickets for military personnel are on sale now via GovX.

Welcome To Rockville campers get the ultimate experience, spending five days on the festival field right in the middle of all the action and with the quickest access to all the stages. Amenities include indoor restrooms and showers, in and out privileges, and a general store for supplies. A limited number of Weekend Camping Packages are available for both car and tent and RVs. Admission to the festival is not included in Weekend Camping Packages and must be purchased separately.

Welcome To Rockville VIP pass holders will receive a commemorative VIP laminate and wristband, dedicated entrance lanes into the festival, entrance into VIP areas, and access to dedicated viewing areas throughout the festival. Saturday, May 4, 2019 was Day 2 of Welcome To Rockville. There were no dangerous thunderstorms on this day. Instead there was plenty of sun, heat and humidity. The three stages were filled with heavy hitters all day long – Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Judas Priest, The Cult, Skillet, In This Moment, Black Label Society, Yelawolf, Tremonti, Badflower, The Damned Things, Zeal & Ardor, Wage War, Movements, Crobot, Boston Manor, Pretty Vicious, and Dead Girls Academy. Zippo also provided an acoustic stage for intimate performances from several artists. One of the day’s great highlights was Badflower killing their Zippo Session acoustically, and shortly after that tearing through an electric set. Both sets left the crowd emotionally satisfied. All of the bands put on emotional performances, but none more so than hometown heroes Shinedown. During their nightly tribute to Jacksonville’s legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brent Smith brought out Ronnie Van Zant’s granddaughter as he and Zach Myers (and the loud crowd) performed ‘Simple Man’.

Produced by C3 Presents and AC Entertainment, the massive footprint of the festival site–known to millions as the home of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival–will be transformed into a rock and roll playground with the all-star line-up appearing on three stages with 12 hours of music daily, camping and a variety of activities tailored specifically to concert-goers. Camping at Epicenter will let patrons keep the rock n’ roll party going all through the weekend and will set this festival apart from other U.S. rock shows. Camping spots are connected to the festival grounds and include perks like access to showers, portable restrooms, food and drink vendors, charging stations, information and medical services, as well as a Thursday night pre-show party. Campers will also have late night access to Rockingham Village, an impressive promenade featuring food, drinks, merch shopping, entertainment, art and activities until 2:00 AM daily. Rockingham Village will be conveniently located immediately in front of the venue, adjacent to the North Premium campgrounds. Camping options will include immersive, Premium Spaces on the North Side of the site as well as free options in the South Side campgrounds.

Rockingham Village at Epicenter will be open for extended hours to allow fans to eat, drink, shop and see performing artists before and after the main event. Featured vendors will include festival merchandise, artist merchandise, lockers for rent, lifestyle shopping booths, a full General Store, coffee shop, craft beer at Headbangers Beer Bar, Caduceus wine bar, breakfast vendors for campers, as well as late night food served after the main venue closes. The Village will also have a stage featuring cover bands and Hellzapoppin Circus SideShow performances throughout the weekend.

After a record-breaking year in 2018 that welcomed a sold-out crowd of 90,000 over an expanded three-day weekend, Welcome To Rockville returns even bigger in 2019.

The ninth annual edition of Florida’s Biggest Rock Experience will take place Friday, May 3, Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5 at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida and will feature must-see headlining sets from some of the biggest names in rock including Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Incubus, The Prodigy, Shinedown and Judas Priest—making their Rockville debut.

Premier independent U.S. music festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents has announced the highly anticipated music and comedy lineup for their new destination event, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, which debuts at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, May 17, Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Multiplatinum artists Foo Fighters, System Of A Down and Disturbed lead the spectacular and diverse music lineup for Sonic Temple, which will also feature performances from Bring Me The Horizon, The Prodigy, Ghost, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Chevelle, Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, The Cult, and many other chart-topping and up-and-coming music artists. SiriusXM’s Comedy & Spoken Word Tent will include comedy from Andrew Dice Clay, Pauly Shore, and others, as well as a spoken word set from Henry Rollins. The festival will feature three music stages, premium food and beverage selections, art installations, and enhanced onsite experiences.
