Orlando’s rock station 101.1 WJRR celebrated their 30th Earthday Birthday concert on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The Orlando Amphitheater stage was used as the secondary stage. A massive main stage was built on the grass in the fairgrounds, with tons of room available for vendors, charities, food and drink.

Beartooth gave a high octane performance, as they always do. The crowd was moving and screaming along.

Their setlist showcased their newest single “Sunshine!”, as well as all of their past radio hits.

Caleb Shomo, Oshie Bichar, Connor Denis, Zach Huston and Will Deely are a well polished live band and they always deliver on stage.

Beartooth At WJRR’s Earthday Birthday 2023 In Orlando first appeared on Game On Media.

Orlando’s rock station 101.1 WJRR celebrated their 30th Earthday Birthday concert on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The Orlando Amphitheater stage was used as the secondary stage. A massive main stage was built on the grass in the fairgrounds, with tons of room available for vendors, charities, food and drink.

Breaking Benjamin finished off the night with an incredible long set full of hits. The crowd sang along passionately to every word. They went on earlier than planned, due to a last minute cancellation from Falling In Reverse, but nobody seemed to mind. Ben Burnley even brought his son onstage for several songs, playing along on a miniature BB branded guitar. People of all ages were thrilled by the emotional performance.

Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless have come along way since her childhood acting days. They now boast an extensive catalog of hit songs and an enchanting live show. The band paused the show at one point, to alert security and medical that someone in the pit needed help.

Lajon Witherspoon and Sevendust played the heaviest set of the day, including the debut of their brand new song “Fence”. They also had to stop the show to get help for someone in the crowd. For Sevendust, a concert is a family reunion, so they always go out of their way to look out for everyone. They also give their all, every single time they play. John Connolly was still jumping and shredding, despite finishing his first marathon in Boston earlier this week, raising money in support of Down Syndrome charities and Orlando’s “Take A Chance For Charity” movement.

Dorothy Martin and her band made a spiritual connection with their performance. Their songs are inspirational, and Dorothy’s vocal range elevates their delivery to gospel levels.

Doc Coyle and Bad Wolves played through their catalog of hits. The crowd sang loudly to everything they have heard on WJRR.

Beartooth got a late start but made up for it with a strong performance.

The pinnacle of rock festivals in America is back! After a three-year hiatus, Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival returns to its home at the heartbeat of rock, the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, Memorial Day Weekend–May 25-28, 2023 — with a spectacular lineup of rock heavyweights that make Sonic Temple’s comeback one of the most anticipated events of the 2023 festival season.

Through Their “Scream Back” Program With Educational Partner On Our Sleeves,

“Scream Back” shares the name with the group’s initiative addressing mental health issues plaguing the nation’s youth. Established in November 2019, the Scream Back program aligns the band members—vocalist Grant DeCrane, 23; drummer Reno Houston, 20; and guitarist Hayden Kissler, 19—with the educational messaging of Nationwide Children’s Hospital‘s On Our Sleeves movement, as well as Columbus’ active rock radio station 99.7 The Blitz (WRKZ) and SJC Custom Drums.

Scream Back largely utilizes in-school appearances to deliver peer messaging and personal stories that challenge fellow young people to have an open dialogue about mental health. Fans were treated to eats rom the following local and regional restaurants and food trucks: Barrique, The Bread and Board, BC Taco, Brucci’s Pizza, Cely’s Filipino Cuisine, Chinchilla’s Eatz on the Streetz, Dos Vatos Tacos, Eli’s BBQ, Gouda Boys, Grumpy’s Homemade Ice Cream, Guanabana Ice Pops, Island Noodles, Mama’s Food Truck, Mojo’s BBQ, Pie Baby Wood Fired Pizza, Pele’s Wood Fire Pizza & Tuscan Kitchen, Sweet Pete’s, The Girls Gone Green Nacho Bar, Ubora Coffee, What’s The Catch Fish Tacos, and Wurstbusters Truck. Friday, May 3, 2019 was Day 1 of Welcome To Rockville. The day was off to a great start, when dangerous thunderstorms closed in on the festival site, and the promoters took every precaution by pausing the concert, and safely evacuating the park. After a couple of hours delay, and a negotiated extension to the city curfew, the bands were rescheduled and the show went on. The performers on Day 1 were Korn, Evanescence, Chevelle, The Crystal Method, Flogging Molly, Killswitch Engage, Circa Survive, Tom Morello, Mark Lanegan Band, Beartooth, Black Pistol Fire, Hands Like Houses, Wilson, Hyro The Hero, Light The Torch, Amigo The Devil, Demob Happy, Cleopatrick, and Dirty Honey. This was a great mix of rock legends and bands on the rise. Some of the stand out new acts were Hyro The Hero, Amigo The Devil, Light The Torch and Wilson. The Crystal Method filled in for The Prodigy, offering a change of pace. Amy Lee and Evanescence returned to full on rock mode after touring with piano and orchestra. Killswitch Engage put on a breathtaking performance that was sadly cut short due to the impending lightning. Korn closed out a long day with an inspired performance.

Camping at Epicenter will let patrons keep the rock n’ roll party going all through the weekend and will set this festival apart from other U.S. rock shows. Camping spots are connected to the festival grounds and include perks like access to showers, portable restrooms, food and drink vendors, charging stations, information and medical services, as well as a Thursday night pre-show party. Campers will also have late night access to Rockingham Village, an impressive promenade featuring food, drinks, merch shopping, entertainment, art and activities until 2:00 AM daily. Rockingham Village will be conveniently located immediately in front of the venue, adjacent to the North Premium campgrounds. Camping options will include immersive, Premium Spaces on the North Side of the site as well as free options in the South Side campgrounds.

Rockingham Village at Epicenter will be open for extended hours to allow fans to eat, drink, shop and see performing artists before and after the main event. Premier independent U.S. music festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents has announced the highly anticipated music and comedy lineup for their new destination event, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival, which debuts at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, May 17, Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Multiplatinum artists Foo Fighters, System Of A Down and Disturbed lead the spectacular and diverse music lineup for Sonic Temple, which will also feature performances from Bring Me The Horizon, The Prodigy, Ghost, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Chevelle, Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, The Cult, and many other chart-topping and up-and-coming music artists. SiriusXM’s Comedy & Spoken Word Tent will include comedy from Andrew Dice Clay, Pauly Shore, and others, as well as a spoken word set from Henry Rollins. The festival will feature three music stages, premium food and beverage selections, art installations, and enhanced onsite experiences.

General Admission, VIP and Premium VIP tickets, and hotel and camping packages for Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival go on sale Friday, November 30 at Noon ET.

In addition to performances from top music artists, and various onsite attractions, attendees will enjoy a variety of onsite food and beverage options celebrating local Columbus flavors. Food and beverage options offered on the exterior of the stadium will be provided by Southern Hospitality Concessions LLC, DWP’s affiliate concessionaire. Selections from the following local and regional restaurants will be available: Bonifacio, Buckeye Donuts, BruBrothers Coffee, Chicago’s Dog House, Cousins Maine Lobster, Ena’s Caribbean Kitchen, Hangry City, Mikey’s Late Night Slice, MoMo Ghar, Pie Baby Wood Fired Pizza, Schmidt’s Sausage Haus, Sophie’s Pierogi, Smoked on High BBQ, The Midway Café, and fan favorite Island Noodles.

Initial ticket prices for Sonic Temple will be as follows:

• Weekend VIP: $379.50 plus fees
• Pillar Premium VIP Package: $1,949.50 plus fees (accommodations for 2)
• Weekend Field General Admission: $199.50 plus fees
• Weekend Stadium General Admission: $99.50 plus fees
• RV Camping: $250.00

VIP package amenities include: early entry into the festival and access to the VIP lounge, which features LED screens with feeds of the main stage sets, seating areas, heating/air conditioning, premium cash bar, elevated food experiences for purchase, free WiFi, access to charging stations and lockers, and dedicated VIP bathrooms.
