After welcoming a sold-out crowd of 60,000 people in 2018, Aftershock returns even bigger this year, expanding to three full days of performances from some of the most popular music acts, including a mix of chart-topping headliners and up-and-coming buzzworthy bands across the rock spectrum. The eighth annual edition of California’s biggest rock festival takes place Friday, October 11, Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 at Discovery Park near downtown Sacramento, CA, and is produced by premier independent festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents.

The lineup features Tool, Slipknot, blink-182, Korn, Rob Zombie and the return of Staind after a 5-year hiatus. Additional acts include Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember, Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, Halestorm, Dropkick Murphys, BABYMETAL, Bad Religion, Stone Temple Pilots, and many more.

In addition to performances from top music artists, attendees at this year’s Aftershock can enjoy a variety of local and regional food and beverage offerings provided by DWP’s affiliate concessionaire, Southern Hospitality Concessions LLC. Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival powered by Gringo Bandito expanded its flagship Southern California event to two days (April 6 & 7) in 2019, and the 6^th annual festival brought 20,000 fans to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA for a weekend of craft beer sampling, gourmet tacos, Lucha Libre style wrestling, and music from The Offspring, Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, Descendents, Black Flag, Face To Face and more.

Multiple world record holder Takeru Kobayashi proved himself as the reigning champion, successfully defending his Gringo Bandito Chronic Tacos Eating Championship title yet again on Sunday, despite stiff competition from Molly Schuyler. Kobayashi devoured 157 tacos in 10 minutes – just shy of his 2017 world record-setting total of 159 – to earn his 9^th consecutive championship, edging out Schuyler, who set a personal best, downing 146 tacos. The record was made official, and documented by Corey Henderson, CEO of RecordSetter.com, the new authority for world records.

Sabroso attendees got in on the taco eating action as well, enjoying tacos from a variety of Southern California’s best vendors, including the Sabroso Best Of Show taco from Pink Taco (poached octopus taco with chorizo, potatoes, onion, and peppers) and runners up from Fiesta Gourmet (fried beer battered shrimp taco over a bed of pickled cabbage, topped with two salsas) and Sol Agave (slow-roasted pork belly taco with tomato mint slaw and fresh pineapple). Attendees also had a chance to sample (and top their tacos) with all flavors of  Gringo Bandito – Dexter Holland of The Offspring’s award-winning hot sauce – including the debut of the new Spicy Yellow sauce, the 4th in a lineup that also includes green, red and super hot.

Attendees 21+ complemented their tacos with complimentary samples of over 150 craft beers each day until 4pm, from world-renowned Russian River Brewing to local favorites including Artifex Brewing Company, Burgeon Beer Co., Wild Barrel, and more, to exciting newcomers like The Shop Beer Co. and Papa Marce’s Cerveceria.

The full music lineup for Sabroso at Doheny State Beach included Flogging Molly, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, Strung Out, The Suicide Machines, Adolescents and D.I. on Saturday and The Offspring, Descendents, Black Flag, Face To Face, Plague Vendor, Red City Radio and Orange Blossom Special on Sunday. In addition, fans were entertained throughout the weekend by Lucha Libre style wrestling matches with renowned luchadors including Cesar Gonzalez (Silver King) — widely known for his role as Ramses, the villain wrestling champion in the film Nacho Libre (starring Jack Black) – who returned to Sabroso to reclaim his title as of “King Of The Ring.”

This year will mark the 9th Annual Gringo Bandito Chronic Tacos Challenge, where professional eaters from around the world compete for cash prizes and the highly-coveted title of Chronic Tacos Eating Champion. World-champion competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi, from Nagano, Japan returns to defend his 2018 Gringo Bandito Chronic Tacos Eating Champion title, where he devoured an astonishing 154 tacos in 10 minutes.

Additionally, taco creations from food vendors will compete for the coveted Sabroso “Best Of Show,” awarded by a panel of food judges.

Lucha Libre style wrestling stars from across the globe will take to the ring battling for the title of Sabroso Champion, as multiple qualifying wrestling matches take place throughout the weekend, with one final championship match. Camp Anarchy: 3 Day Punk Rock Campout — a new camping, craft beer and punk music festival — will take over Legend Valley, just outside Columbus, OH, this spring, on Friday, May 31, Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2. Camp Anarchywill feature performances by The Offspring, Rancid, NOFX, Bad Religion, Pennywise, X, Suicidal Tendencies, Less Than Jake, Fear, and more, along with craft beer tastings (available for purchase), and a slew of attractions including a Dodgeball Arena, Fair Games, Flea’s Market Vendor Village, and much more. This one-of-a-kind destination event is the only punk rock campout in the country, and will host NOFX‘s first US performance in over one year.

John Reese, Camp Anarchy co-producer and founder of Synergy Global Entertainment (SGE), says Camp Anarchy is, “A punker’s dream…three days of the best bands and so much to do while camping under the stars in Ohio. What could be better?”

• CRAFT BEER TASTING AREA: What most of you are here for…a massive craft beer sampling area offering tastings from local and national breweries with more than 150 craft beers to choose from. Columbus has quietly become a craft beer mecca, at the heart of a state that now boasts over 200 craft breweries producing more than 1.3 million barrels of beer annually. (Must have a Tasting Pass and be 21+)
• THE DODGEBALL ARENA: Hosting Fans Against the Bands dodgeball games…don’t forget your sweatbands for these epic battles.
• FAIR GAMES: This is where the freaks are unleashed. Come play games of chance to win a teddy bear that will probably end up in a box in your garage, or watch a guy pierce his eyeball. THE unFAIR boasts our spin on our summer camp favorites, like Postcards From The Edge where you can get a collector’s postcard and send it out from camp to your friends and family, and big ass games.
• FLEA’S MARKET VENDOR VILLAGE: Full of stuff you probably don’t need but know you will want.
• OVERSIZED GAMES: Beer Pong, Jenga, Cornhole & more.

Attendees 21+ with festival tickets can purchase a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday craft beer Tasting Pass in advance for only $17.50 (plus fees). The Tasting Pass will allow entry into the Craft Beer Tasting Area, where during the tasting, attendees can enjoy 15 3 oz. craft beer tastes, choosing from over 150 craft beers from dozens of top breweries. Some of the participating breweries include BrewDog, Rhinegeist, Great Lakes, Fat Head’s, Revolution Brewing, plus many more local and national breweries.

General Admission tickets, VIP ticket packages, and camping options for Camp Anarchy will be available for purchase Friday, December 14 at 10:00 AM ET, starting at the following prices (plus fees). Visit www.CampAnarchyFest.com for details on all ticket and camping packages.

General Admission tickets are $49.50 (plus fees) for Single Day and $99.50 (plus fees) for Weekend. A limited number VIP packages will also be available for purchase, with Single Day starting at $129.50 (plus fees) and Weekend VIP (which includes a Tasting Pass) starting at $279 (plus fees). VIP tickets include one VIP admission ticket to Camp Anarchy, a dedicated VIP entry lane into the venue, one hour early entry for craft beer tastings (for those 21+) starting at 12:00 PM, and one tasting pass, good for up to 20 tastings. VIP ticket holders also receive access into the VIP Lounge which includes:

• Comfortable areas to sit and relax

Weekend (Friday — Monday) camping add ons start at $129.50 (plus fees) for Tent Camping (for up to 4 people) and $199.50 (plus fees) for dry RV Camping (for up to 4 people). Legend Valley is a historic outdoor concert venue and campground that has been hosting music festivals and athletic events since the 1970s, including the award-winning four day camping festival Lost Lands. Legend Valley is located at 7585 Kindle Rd, just off I-170 on Route 13 in Thornville, Ohio.
