So you’ve got at least another month to self quarantine. Now is the perfect time to catch up on your binge watching. Disney+ is the newest streaming service, so why not have some fun exploring what is has to offer. Here are our Five Fave Fun Things To Do With Disney+ In Quarantine:

5. See how many movies you can find where the main character’s parents die early in the movie, or are already dead when it begins.

Not sure why Disney seems obsessed with this story device, but it has been using it forever, with no signs of stopping. Some of the best include Finding Nemo and James And The Giant Peach. You can watch the whole movie, or just count how many minutes it takes to kill off one or more parents, or reveal that they are already dead.

4. Spend 5-1/2 hours binge-watching Disney+ original series The Mandalorian.

Created by Jon Favreau, the man whose vision launched a decade of Marvel movies, this is a Star Wars story that takes place between episodes 6 and 7. No, that is not Baby Yoda, and no, that is not Boba Fett, or even Jango Fett. The timeline places 800 year old Yoda as a force ghost, Jango Fett decapitated by Mace Windu, and Boba Fett slowly digesting over the course of 1,000 years in a Sarlacc pit. Whatever you want to call the characters is irrelevant, because this is its own story with its own mythology, and it is as captivating and exciting as anything in the Star Wars universe. It works best as one continuous viewing, or 2 if you want to take a break. This is the most promising aspect of Disney+, and hopefully they will continue to be this bold with their original content.

3. Spend 20 hours watching the Star Wars saga in order.

This one is easy, because the episodes are numbered 1-9, beginning with The Phantom Menace, and ending with The Rise Of Skywalker, which is not on Disney+ yet, but can be rented or purchased on Amazon. Be sure to watch Rogue One in between episodes 3 and 4, because it leads directly into A New Hope, which was the first movie released way back in 1977, and was titled Episode 4 from the beginning, although not many seemed to notice until the saga returned in 1999. Add another 2-1/2 hours to complete the saga with Episode 9, and you can always dip over to Netflix for Solo, which takes place before Rogue One.

2. Spend 20 hours watching Disney movies in their recent live action format, followed by their original animated format.

You must watch them in that order, because the animated versions are almost always better, with the arguable exceptions of Beauty And The Beast, Alice In Wonderland and Peter Pan. We also have high hopes for Mulan. For now, check out Aladdin, The Lion King, Dumbo, Alice In Wonderland, Lady And The Tramp, and 101 Dalmations and see which version you prefer. If you have 10 more hours to spare, you can use Amazon and Hulu to check out the live action Cinderella, Beauty And The Beast and Peter Pan, then hop back to D+ for the originals. Cindy and Belle will be added this fall.

1. Spend 40 hours watching most the Marvel movies in chronological order.

18 of the 23 Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films are available now on Disney+. If you have another 10 hours to spare, you can use a Amazon to rent The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Spider-Man: Far From Home, and depending on how long it takes you to get through the series, you can either Netflix Ant-Man And The Wasp and Avengers: Endgame or wait until they hit D+ this summer. Here is the full sequence of Marvel movies to watch them in chronological story order.
