Orlando’s rock station 101.1 WJRR celebrated their 30th Earthday Birthday concert on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. The Orlando Amphitheater stage was used as the secondary stage. A massive main stage was built on the grass in the fairgrounds, with tons of room available for vendors, charities, food and drink.
Lajon Witherspoon and Sevendust played the heaviest set of the day, including the debut of their brand new song “Fence”.
John Connolly was still jumping and shredding, despite finishing his first marathon in Boston earlier this week, raising money in support of Down Syndrome charities and Orlando’s “Take A Chance For Charity” movement.

The band had to stop the show mid-song to get help for someone in the crowd. For Sevendust, a concert is a family reunion, so they always go out of their way to look out for everyone.
