George Harrison’s Material World Foundation Challenge
The Material World Foundation, created by George Harrison in 1973, announced that it will be donating $500,000 to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, Save the Children, and Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) charities, which are providing much needed aid and care during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Material World Foundation will donate another $1 (up to $100,000) for every person who shares their own “Inner Light” moment on social media using the hashtag #innerlight2020.
Elton John To Host Benefit Special “Fox Presents The iHeart Living Room Concert For America” on Sunday
iHeartMedia and FOX Entertainment are hosting “Fox Presents The iHeart Living Room Concert For America,” a music event to provide entertainment relief and support for Americans to help fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to celebrate the resilience and strength of the nation during this pandemic.
Hosted by Elton John, the event will feature performances by Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw and more, from their own homes, filmed with their personal cell phones, cameras and audio equipment, to ensure the health and safety of all involved.
The concert will air tomorrow, Sunday, from 9:00-10:00 PM ET/6:00-7:00 PM PT on FOX, and on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide, as well as via the iHeartRadio app.
